After the car went thru the car wash there were still a lot of dirt and grime on the car. The men that wiped down my car made no effort to remove dirt and grime left on the exterior. Another customer recognized that my car was not cleaned properly and also spoke to the workers on my behalf. I also spoke to the men they claimed that they DID NOT speak Englishand they all walked off. The man that spoke in my behalf asked for the manager. Oh my God, this place seen better days. These pictures are right before I pulled off the lot at the car wash. They didn't even have the decency to seat the booster seat back up. I've never been to a car wash where I left with the cup holes dirty. Not worth going back-and-forth with them. I guess management doesn't care that they suck because they're not trained and there was seemingly no manager on site and nobody checked their works. The manager was extra rude and told me that the spots could not come off. But there was dry dirt all over the car even though they claimed it was ran through the washer with brushes. Came on a Monday morning @9. I only needed an exterior wash. You drop your car off with the car wash person and they take it from there. They give you a receipt to go inside and pay. It was 9:01 when I walked in with the recipet. No more than 3 mins later my car was coming off of the conveyor belt thru the washer and done. Other attendees hand toweled it dry. Whole process for $12.50 only took just about 5 minutes. The cash register attendant was kinda rude. She don't say anything not even a hello after I said it first. Just did the transaction and go. I sat and waited in the line for 15 mins and when I pulled up at 4:32pm one of the Spanish/hispanic workers there closed the line. The establishment closed at 5pm. The man was very rude and seemed racist as I am an African American woman he was very disrespectful. I proceeded to take my concerns with the Manager inside who was also not helpful and rude. I would love to leave a positive rating but honestly the washes are hit or miss. You have to really look at the work they do or you'll be upset later. I've had to ask for things to be cleaned because they overlook or just go to fast. For the price, for me it's not worth it. I went and bought a car vacuum and started doing my own cleaning. Yep, that bad of service. Giving them 3 stars because not everyone lacks. The men who charge you seem to know what is going on, it's the ones at the end who just have no system which makes it unreliable. Also, faces seem to change often and for me, that is a no no. I often go out of my way to go to this car wash since they hand dry the vehicle, which is hard to find in the area. The hours have often been hit or miss, but generally, I've found the service to be thorough, even with the increasing price. The listed close time when you Google the establishment is 6:00pm. I've known them to be closed earlier so I made it a point to leave work early to arrive a little before 5:00pm. When I pulled in they had put a cone out and waived me away as they were vacuuming the car in front of me. It was 4:52pm. Confused and a little annoyed, I called the establishment just to inquire about the hours and let them know that what is listen online (and the only way to know the hours as they're not posted) does not align with their practice. I was rudely informed that they close at 5:00pm and they stop taking cars at 4:45pm or 4:50pm because they aren't paid overtime. I'm sympathetic to that, and just asked that they try to fix the hours listed to save others the trouble. I was yelled at and told they had no control over that and they've been closing at 5pm for years so it was my fault I showed up. I've been coming to this car wash since 2012, and sadly will no longer be a customer. At this rate, I'm not sure who their customer will be since they are closed during the prime commute time and 9-5 workers are unable to use their services. read more

You have to constantly point out to the workers parts of your car that aren't clean and they debate with you instead of just correcting it. How does a nearly $30 car wash be complete in 3-4 minutes? Buyer Beware! I usually go to this car wash, not problem until today. They come to your car and ask what service do you want and I tell them, no issue. Today, a guy, who does not speak English opens the door and takes my mats out and gives me 4 fingers and takes them away, never indicating what he is going to do. Another guy says want to you want, knowing that there is always a language barrier, I point and say the Regular Wash, which is $26. He gives me a receipt. I go to the window to pay and I am charged $30 and I say to women in the both, I only asked for the $26 wash. The old guy who took the mats never indicated that he was going to wash and charge me $4. I told her this, she was the manager, and a bad one, just kind of through up her hands. An unsatisfied customer will never return, we could have negotiated $4 but not her. I truly wish businesses would deliver quality work. I called to speak with the manager and was told I should have inspected my car before I left... it was impossible because the cars coming out of the wash was honking at the cleaners of my car. I purchased the full wash for $28. They started with the interior of my car with the vacuum. Then went through the automatic wash, then proceeded to clean my exterior. At this point when i came out from cashier everyone was either complaining about parts of their car not being cleaned or cleaning it themselves! The customer next to me was upset they got water in the hood of his Tesla. At the same time i noticed my mats where not properly clean from the vacuum, spots were left unclean Around my car and two of my rims were left untouched. I was driving pass this car wash and saw the line so one would assume they must've been waiting for an amazing car wash. Wrong!! They did a really poor job with my car. I showed it to the workers and they were clueless. I had no confidence they could fix it, so I didn't say anything more, and left. When I got home, I noticed a scratch in the paint that ran along the entire length of the car. It's not the kind of thing that would happen without your noticing, but no one mentioned it at the time. I live in Upper Marlboro but drove to Hyattsville to patronize this car wash, since it's in the neighborhood where my boys attended high school. NEVER AGAIN!! I paid for the $20 Regular Wash that included wash, vacuum, and tire brite. I paid, exited, and placed my tip in the box as I watched as my car was dried. They did not add the "tire brite", so I asked for them to shine my tires. One of the guys drying the car said, "you paid $20 and not $24 that includes the tire shine." I asked what is "tire brite",is that not the same? He says, "No". I said please add the shine to the tires and I'll go back to the window and pay the $4 difference for the upgraded package. At the window, the attendant says I have to go back to the guys at the beginning of the car wash to get a ticket for the tire shine. My son brings back the ticket and instead of the additional $4 for the upgraded package they charged me $5 for an extra service called the "tire shine". I asked again what was the difference between the tire brite and the tire shine, can't I just upgrade the package since I just paid $20? The girl at the window says I have to go back and ask the guy at the beginning of the car wash. He say's I can't upgrade with $4 but have to pay for the extra service called tire shine for $5. The unexpected ending to this story is while I was going back and forth between the girl at the payment window and the guy at the beginning of the car wash, a police officer, who was behind me and witnessed the exchange, paid for my "tire shine". When I returned to the window for a 3rd time, the girl at the window refunded me the extra $5 I had paid for the tire shine and said the officer had paid for the tire shine for me because he didn't want me going through the hassle. The police officer had left the premises by the time I realized his good deed. Thank you Officer. I googled tire brite and tire shine and I still don't know the difference. read more

I paid for the most expensive option and these guys did a very poor job. They did a sloppy job vacuuming the inside. They left very visible gravel and debris on the floor. I told the guy managing that part of the process and he said, "Well it's carpet." No f'ing duh - of course it's carpet! They also didn't vacuum out the back section, and the guy said they didn't because I had items in the back. However, I had moved all the items up near the back seat, so 3/4 of the back was clear to be vacuumed. The place I normally go to on New Hampshire Ave. vacuums the back when I do this. The guy said, "We're not that place." Darn right, that's why they have 3 1/2 stars on Yelp and you guys only have 1 1/2 stars. They also had an epic fail on wiping the rims, leaving behind very visible brake dust on all four rims - most of it dust I could wipe off with my fingers, meaning it was never touched with the cleaning cloth. read more

I took my baby in for an after salt and snow cleaning. Yeah, this place is definitely not worth the money. $18.50 to do a basic wash and wipe down my car with wet rags. I asked them to fully clean my windows... it didn't happen. Smokey the window wiper could have done a better job with newspaper. These streaky windows definitely have to be cleaned again.
