Came on a Friday morning around 9am. Got the WORKS wash for $24 for my car. You pay upfront and drive around. Get out car for persons to vacuum . Then you get back in your car and they guide you to putting your tire into a conveyer belt that will move your car through the wash. You do so by placing your car in neutral. Then go thru the wash and finish by getting out and having persons dry clean you car and any extras I ended up going to a gas station to vaccum and doing a second wipe down of my windows. I could Have spent all of $10 to do this myself and go thru a gas station washer. They did a good job cleaning the door jams and my tires however. Many ppl say they don't do cup holders, glove boxes and that's true. I would not recommend. Car was just dusty not dirty and I cleaned it out completely before I came. read more

I have been a customer for years. The quality and attention to detail has greatly declined while the price has increased. Your wheels are never cleaned. They leave wax residue all over the car and act like they don't understand when you raise your concerns. No longer going there. read more

Paid thirty dollars for a car wash. My car is old but I needed cleaning for the undercarriage. They used wet rags to dry the car and I had to remind them to wipe the hood of the car. I only come here for convenience and not because I like their service. Use cleaner rags for drying. Wheel dressing was not that great either. Did a fair job. read more

You get what you pay for. I think it's pretty fair for the price. I've taken my car to other places where they leave my car in the same condition except that they charge a lot more. There was a bit of a line when I went in, but once they took my car the process runs pretty fast. They still left a few dirt spots that they must have missed in a rush but I came home and cleaned them up myself. Decent place. Fair price. read more

Had my first car wash here this morning. Hours of operation posted on Yelp and on the building are incorrect for Saturday. I drive up at 8:55am and they were already fully operational with a lengthy line. The person who greeted and took my "order" was pleasant. Watched the first team scrub the wheels and another do vacuuming. Next vehicle goes through the automated machine wash and provides the ordered style of cleaning products. I saw the cashier and asked to break a large bill so I could have something to tip with. Went outside and sat on one of their benches while waiting. A gentleman approached me in Spanish and, not knowing what he was saying, just said "no". After observing a few other interactions, it seems he was getting the ticket from customers with the tire dressing option. I'm a little taken aback by this gentleman who, providing customer service, should speak English to the clients... right? The lady who was drying my vehicle was quick, but not thorough. What I noticed for all vehicles is they only open the front doors and wipe up the water there. Neither back row or trunk was opened and wiped down. Water also trapped in the side view mirrors seem to have been ignored. She waves her towel and before I can hand her a tip for the effort, she walks away and onto the next vehicle. No "thank you" or "please come again". Again, another example of customer service lacking. Minus one star because customer service could use some work. Took another star off because this place is really only good for getting the awful pollen off your vehicle quickly; not thorough and wouldn't recommend for a detail. read more

I went today there to wash my car and I paid for the Ultimate car wash $30.00 ( which is the most expensive service ) So I ask the guy there if they can make sure to vacuum and wash the plastic rugs inside. Turns out that the Ultimate package only covers the rugs in front and if I want to have the set from the back I will need to pay an additional $1.00 each! I'm like what? At first I thought he was joking and ask them again so basically if you want to have the set of all 4 rugs which obviously come as a set when you purchase them! You will have to pay an additional $2.00! The most ridiculous thing I ever heard, I mean come on guys I'm already spending $30.00 for this. Bottom line is I will never go back again here. Having bought my first car barely a year ago, I have to admit I've been slacking on the upkeep. After reading the reviews about this place - which is just around the corner from where I live - I had to take my baby in and see what all the fuss was about. At 10 am, I thought I'd be one of the only people there, but the line was already forming out into the street! Despite that, it moved quite quickly and I was next in only about 5 mins. After hopping out, I proceeded through the hallway to pay and overall think the process was extremely efficient. I chose the $29 "the works" package because I wanted both the interior and exterior cleaned, and was pleased with the results (although next time, I'll probably select one package down for comparison purposes as that was pretty pricey). My baby was shiny and pretty in less than 13 mins overall, and the interior was cleaned well too (they even did inside that little space underneath the radio!). They even give you your choice of a free air freshener afterward - a nice touch. Since this place is so convenient, I know I'll be back. read more

I'm what you would call a car-wash commitment phobe. I love 'em and leave 'em because one doesn't treat me the way that I deserve and another enjoys taking my time and money for granted. Yet and still, I knew instantly that Queens Car Wash was the one for me and I've been loyal ever since. Simply put, this place rocks. It doesn't leave you with that "oh-you-fancy" feeling but the prices are reasonable, they do a really great job, and they have you in and out in no time flat. I have used this car wash for many years with no problem. However I was just there to get the "Ultimate" wash without the "tire shine." I said repeatedly to the workers that I did not want the tire shine that was listed under the deal as $5.00. The owner finally gave me a credit for $3.00. While I was speaking with the owner my daughter went to the car to ensure that they did not apply the "tire shine." Although she repeatedly and vociferously insisted that they not apply the "tire shine," they did and insisted that she provide a yellow receipt as proof that the tire treatment had been paid for. The owner came out as we entered the car to leave and accused my daughter of demanding the tire treatment while I was inside getting a credit for not getting the treatment therefore scamming them for $3.00. This for a process that my daughter knows I think is gaudy and tacky. So this owner refused to acknowledge that a communication problem had occurred, accused a long-standing customer of trying to steal from him and thusly has lost at least 15 customers. In the past, I have always requested that the "tire shine" not be applied and have never had a problem, but I am definitely taking my business elsewhere along with my 4 grown sons and daughters. read more

Pretty great job on the outside of my SUV. The vacuuming was great. Only issue was I still found dust on my dashboard after asking for a full wash (which entails a clean dashboard)! $16 for a full wash for an SUV. Took my car there this afternoon. Got the full wash ($14) which includes: 1. Exterior wash and towel dry: pretty good job. I was happy overall. There were a couple of small dirt spots left that I noticed. Those probably need a bit more elbow grease than a cloth being randomly slapped on it. 2. Vacuum Inside: They didn't seem to do anything here. I saw the vacuum go inside and come out in less than a minute. Not sure if anything was really done. 3. Inside Window Cleaning: Great job here. 4. Dashboards Wipe Off: Good job here too. Note that this isn't a touchless wash. read more

They did a good job and they did it very quickly. My car had a bunch of pollen stuck on the roof, and I was particularly pleased to see them washing it by hand afterward. It took probably three different attempts to remove most of it, but the guy kept going. So I will definitely go back. read more

Edit update #2: (9/2) They did a "remodeling" They lost most of their good workers who needed to move on to other jobs when the carwash was closed for this remodeling. Totally inept operation now. They got elderly folks doing a lot of the work (from the family that owns it). It really isn't a good scene. I truly wish this wash was still in the mix for me, it was close and good. It's off the list now. Edit Update: I'm upping to four stars because they have consistently done a good job with my truck. Consistency is key! They're open until 5 on Sunday! What a rarity among washes. ______________________ I found this to be a really decent facility for the price. Car was clean. Exterior only is an option (that is what I prefer). Great car wash facility. It's located in the urban area of Hyattsvile (Chillum Rd), however they do a great job with their car washes. I've gone 3 times, and so far, I haven't had to wait more than 10 minutes for a wash, even when the line is going into the street. That's probably my only gripe about the facility, the car wash line can get VERY long and can potentially cause traffic or an accident, especially with pedestrians. I say this because completed cars can slide (not everyone gets their brakes done OR due to weather conditions) causing the car(s) to slip and potentially hit a pedestrian or go right into traffic. Plus with the many cars that ARE completed are piled up in the front, going along with the cars that go into the street, drivers are unable to see incoming traffic. The facility is basic. Very basic. Not one with all the bells and whistles, flat screen TVs, leather chairs and all that do hickey. This is your basic, car wash. So keep that in mind if you're looking for something like that. read more

I went for the first time two weeks ago tomorrow (May 15th) around 9am - they already had a line that was in traffic lol. But anywhoo, the place is GREAT if you do not want to wash your own car or can't because you live in an apartment complex. The prices are cheap, moves somewhat quickly since multiple people are taking care of various parts of your car (interior and exterior) at the same time, AND they give you a complimentary air freshener to place on your rearview mirror and interior trash bag! I'm not sure if they give it to everyone but I got the #1 for about $27 and those items came with it. For roughly $27, you can't beat a tire scrub and shine, wash, wax, and dry, interior door panel and window cleaning, and vacuumed floor mats (and partial dash cleaning I think). I'm sure I was out by 9:30am. I will definitely be going tomorrow or the following week. read more

They use these stupid brooms out of a bucket to pre-scrub your car before the full wash. Left there with an awful scratch on the front driver side quarter panel. Those brooms in a bucket get rocks stuck between the brissels and easily scratch the crap out of your car. I had no recourse since they have signs posted everywhere that they are not responsible for any damage done to your car. Never again! read more

The finish crew seem genuinely concerned with your satisfaction and the manager will call the crew back to you car is she feels they'd not done a good enough job.
