It was a very uncomfortable conversation and awkward. My son was with me and asked as we left why were you apologizing to him you're the customer a first time at that so you don't know how they run their business and instead of explaining it they assumed we knew.

I called around 8:30 a.m. this morning to establish care for my two French Bulldogs and was told that they were accepting new patients but it would be a month out. The receptionist began collecting my information to create patient charts, discussed scheduling appointments for June, and was in the process of preparing the required $40 per pet appointment hold fee when the call was disconnected. When I called back later, a different receptionist informed me that the clinic was not accepting new patients and that I would not be able to establish care there. When I explained that another staff member had literally begun the intake process and was preparing to collect payment for appointments, I was simply told, "I don't know, but we're not taking new patients." The complete lack of communication and consistency was incredibly frustrating. Based on the glowing reviews, I expected a much more professional and organized experience. While I cannot speak to the quality of the veterinary care itself, the customer service and handling of front-office communication left a very poor first impression.

Dr. Soto was new to us but 100/10! She was so kind to Maverick (and the humans) both tech and doctor gave him space , moved slowly, let him adjust as needed and really communicated with us and worked with us to make this as easy for Maverick as possible! To our credit we are also very involved and more than willing to help to keep Maverick and the staff safe but not all places will allow the time or space for people to do that and are more just rushing along or through things but NOT HERE not today ! Serious Dr. Ortega's change to Mavericks pre sedation has been a game changer but I also think the approach and the vets make a HUGE difference in 9 years we have never had such positive experiences and we have been all over with him this is truly the most comfortable, reassured and trusting I've felt with vet's and Maverick! They tried getting me to pay an extra 1,300 just for them to monitor her over night. I said no so they They told me to give her medication and told me to take her again the next day for a check up. When I arrived to the appointment I paid 300$ for an extra x-ray and bloodwork. This time a different doctor came in, he showed me her blood work and told me it was stage 4 kidney failure and the best case for me was to put her down. If I would've known that from the jump I would've never paid that extra 300$ and she wouldn't have suffered an extra day . I had to pay 600$ more to get her cremated and put down. Mistakes like this shouldn't happen in the medical field please do better.

She definitely loved cheese or anything else that was tasty. On her last day my Wife and I took her to Jack in the Box for her final meal and she loved it. The vet hospital and staff were very helpful and friendly with all of our needs and more. They went above and beyond to get everything set up before we said our last goodbyes to her. Wicket had a real bad case of Osteosarcoma and she could hardly walk. She was in so much pain so we knew it was time, even our other dogs noticed as well.
