Amazing groomer!!! I stubbled upon this groomer on yelp. They had amazing reviews so I decided to make an appointment. I was able to get right in. Its a super cute little spot close to my house. We walked in and Jessica was our groomer. She was so sweet to my girls. Especially my little Hannah since she has super bad separation anxiety. She came up and started petting her with some lavender on her hands to try and soothe her and calm her down. She took them both back. Asked me what they needed when they were ready she called me up and gave me a little report card with a goodie bag. Such an adorable touch! She listened to exactly what I wanted. They took such great care of my girls and my babies look sooo beautiful and clean. I love their little bows. Will definitely be a regular customer and will be telling everyone I know about this place. My sister in law is already booking her appointment tomorrow. I love Ashton Grooming and everyone who works there! They truly love all animals! They have been grooming my dogs for years and we have had the best experience. I had a Maltese (recently passed) who loved going there! She was 14 years old and I had taken her to many random groomers through the years. She used to come home traumatized and sad from other groomers- until I brought her to Ashton Grooming. She was always so happy! I will go to no other groomer. Jayne and her daughter also helped me cope with the passing of my fur baby. Seriously, they truly care... We recently rescued our fur baby who was left in horrible condition when we found her. I called Jayne on a late Saturday afternoon and asked her if she can help with the rescue in such short notice. She said "Bring her in" without a pause. Long story short, they spent about 4-5 hours on our poor rescue, who had a choke chain with fur overgrown over the chain, stuck around her waist with about 5 lbs of matted fur removed. We were so grateful we asked if they could name her, and now her name is "Daisy!" They also groom our other 2 fur babies. They send them home with a goodie bag with some treats and a little report card- it's the cutest thing! They always put a patterned scarf which is absolutely adorable! Please do not give them a bad review if you have not been there, it's really not a fair review. They seriously had to make a huge transition during their move. Jayne also donates her time at the local shelter grooming rescue dogs. I swear Jayne knows more than my dog's vet- they are all very knowledgeable, sincere, and overall great people read more

They recently moved to a new location which I went to a couple days ago which is so clean and you can see your dogs being groomed! They are not taken to the back like so many groomers facilities where you can't see where your dog is at. To say that Jayne is an excellent groomer is an understatement--the service was nothing less than perfection. To start, Jayne provided regular text updates about Dieter and estimates about when he'd be finished. Upon completion of his groom, I was given a full report card that detailed not only what products were used and what services were performed, but also Dieter's disposition during the process. Dieter was given a goodie bag of treats, a toothbrush, a scarf, a bow, AND a canine cravat. And the service itself? Exceptional. For $35, my Shih Tzu received everything from a blueberry facial to an exceptionally thorough cut. I've lived many places and experienced groomers from shoddy to mediocre, and Ashton blew them all away. Though I live in Murrieta, I'll definitely be making the 20-minute drive here again. I'm so happy the REAL Ashton Grooming is back!!! I wasn't impressed with Winchester Grooming when they took over their old shop but I am over the moon that Jayne and Jessica are back in town! Their new shop is so cute and perfect for doing a few dogs at a time. I always know my fur babies will come home clean, happy and with those special touches (bandanas, bows, etc) that let me know they were well taken care of. I finally found a place to take my baby to get spruced up. I am very picky on who grooms my Border Collie and I love this place. He got a doggy bag with a tooth brush, dental wipe, report card, and a heart shaped cookie which he ate (and he never eats dog biscuits). Their prices are very reasonable.
