She has squeezed us in on the fly, she has clipped all of my dogs nails as walk-ins without appointments because we truly can't do it (our dogs can be difficult- but they listen for her). The team is quick and efficient and her prices are reasonable. She is such a doll..all four of our dogs throughout the years, Melvin (chihuahua corgi mix who has since passed) Jax (chiweenie - also passed), Ace (pit lab mix) and Rocket (chihuahua terrier mix) adore her. I recommend Paramus Puppy Spa to anyone and everyone who with pets who asks. You will not be disappointed. We are clients and friends for life.

I made a next-to-last minure appointment for my dachshund mix Carter this week. When we arrived, I…read moreadvised the staff that another groomer had described him as somewhat aggressive while being groomed. When I returned, our groomer told me that Carter had been quite well-behaved. She had also taken the time and care to find out that the veins in Carter's nails (the quick) were longer than most other dogs'. As a result, he had probably been hurt while previous groomers tried to clip them. He had been defensive at first, but once they used a rotary file, he was just fine. I really appreciated the time and insight at Miss Molly's, and intend to bring Carter to them for the foreseeable future.

We're so happy we found a place so close to where we live. Dina will ask what kind of cut you'd like and she'll give you ideas if you're unsure. We always show her a picture of what we'd like since we're not big fans of the drumstick look that poodles normally have. Rocky looks amazing each time and ALWAYS smells like oatmeal after. That smell typically lasts about 2-3 days and I love it. I'd 100% recommend bringing your dog here.

Just moved from San Diego so my husband and I were a little nervous bringing our 7 month old…read moregoldendoodle to a new groomer. We were actually recommended to Mel's Spaw through another groomer, and they could not say enough wonderful things about Melanie! The positive recommendation made me feel really at ease, given the other place was rated really high and so was Mel's Spaw. As soon as we called Melanie she picked up right away with the most kind, friendly and outgoing personality. As soon as we mentioned we had a goldendoodle she was even more excited to get her hands on our dog Kash as she has goldendoodles herself. We set an appointment for a few days later where we got to meet Mel in person and she was just as delightful as she was on the phone. Her salon was super clean, had an open layout which I loved, and such cute decor. Talking to her was easy, and she asked questions that no one asked us prior, like about our preferred cadence of Kash's maintenance grooming schedule, which weighs into how long or short we planned to cut his hair: Shorter in length = can go longer between grooming Longer in length = shorter between grooming We showed her a specific cut we liked, just a puppy cut and described other things like cutting shorter around his mouth and chin, keeping his tail fluffy.. and she executed BEYOND our expectations! When we picked up our pup he was: 1. Obsessed with Mel 2. Looked PHENOMENAL! So handsome!! We were soooo happy with the entire process and service. *ALSO It's been 3 days since our grooming and our dog still smells amazing as when we picked him up from his appointment!! So happy to have found our groomer here in NJ. Before we left we booked a bath appointment and our next full grooming appointments, we are looking forward to coming back!
