I'll attach a pic of my receipt below but when I asked her to explain how French tips made the service go up $70. Her response was "well you asked for that" but like.... I feel like I got charged more than I should have. The front desk lady also said "well you didn't have to get French tips you could have just gotten your toes painted..." which yes duh I could have but I didn't want that. Also, I wasn't aware but apparently you can walk in and just say "just paint my toes", you don't have to pick one of the services from the menu? (I didn't know this but feel like that should be public knowledge). With all this and the quality coming out not the cleanest, I would not recommend this location.

The shop is right on Fondren with plenty of parking available. You can walk in or make an appt ahead of time but they always have some availability. The shop is clean but there's no extra frills to distract you like at other shops. They have a few chairs and maybe 3-4 techs working at a time. They offer you a beverage and get right to business. Each time I'm left feeling good because the experience is great. Their prices are similar to old times ($40- gel pedicure and $25- regular manicure). If you're looking for a shop, check them out!

While plenty of other nail salons offer complimentary drinks, this is the first salon I've been to that has Vietnamese coffee! It's by far my favorite perk. I have been back 3 times already and the workers remember me by name. They go above and beyond to provide exceptional and personalized service. They have a wide selection of nail colors to choose from whether you're doing shellac, dip, or just regular polish. Kamy at the front desk was incredibly helpful and so involved in the process -- she helped me choose colors that best suited my skin tone and matched my reference photos as closely as possible. We tried about five different polish options before finding the perfect one, and she even asked another technician to help confirm the most accurate chrome color. I really appreciated how thoughtful and thorough she was. Amy, my nail tech, was equally amazing. She was extremely diligent with the prep work and made sure my nails felt super clean and well-buffed before starting. She checked in multiple times to make sure I was happy with the shape, length, and cut before painting, which made me feel very confident and cared for. Kamy also checked in throughout the appointment and was so sweet the entire time. Before coming in, I called to check if she had availability--she said yes--but when I arrived, I still had to wait about 20 minutes. She was working on another customer's cut and color by herself (she used to have someone helping with shampooing). I showed her a picture of how I wanted my haircut -- long layers, clearly blended. Unfortunately, when I got home, I noticed the layers were uneven and didn't blend well at all. The cut just didn't turn out the way I hoped, especially considering the higher price. I even called the next day to share my feedback, but she gave reasons for why it turned out that way instead of really listening. Hair will grow, but after this experience, I think it's time to find another salon that knows how to cut and blend layers properly.
