I've been going to Happy Nails for 5+ years now. I do regular pedicure and acrylic fill with gel on my nails. I was there today and desperately needed a pedicure and nails as well. Gina always takes the time to do the extra little things and I always leave feeling happy with fresh fingers and toes!! The prices are excellent ! Mostly important to me is how my nails last. I've been to many other places where after a week the nail bed wants to pull up. I've never experienced that with Gina and can go a full two weeks. It's always relaxing in there. Went to happy nails for mani and pedi, the older generation was rude . I was asked the same question 3 times by 3 different people, he was not nice . They have NO prices up for any services. I was told my the lady who did my toes one price and when I got up to the counter it was higher . I also told her I wanted my toes to look just like hers and she didn't do it until I mentioned it to her , she acted like she forgot. But fixed it . I'm new in town and usually have difficulty finding a nail salon that I like but today I had the best experience ever at Happy Nails on Eastern. It's a nice size salon with good prices. I was able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the massage chair and my mani/pedi without feeling rushed. They were very timely with my appointment and I love that they don't schedule people on top of each other. They did a great job - I love my nails. I travel between LA and Vegas for work weekly. Finding time to schedule a nail appointment with my careers is difficult so I routinely go to my usual place in hollywood for my nails. However, today I was delayed in Vegas and needed my nails done ASAP. I called around and Happy Nails had great reviews, so I made an appointment. I was booked with Ellen and she was an absolute delight. I have very thin nails that break and peel easily. She was delicate with the gel removal process and very diligent about getting the shape and length perfect. Great time and detail was spent on the nail color as well and she pampered my hands. My first time here was really good, the polish lasted for slightly over two weeks and my feet were softer for longer than usual. However, this last time, the pedicure didn't even last a week, and my feet were dry and getting yucky again within three days. Worst thing though, a young girl came in and sat beside me while I was getting the second pedicure, and she got reprimanded about six different times by her nail tech for changing her mind from going to a pedicure with polish to just a pedicure. This place will rip you off! They quoted me $55 for a gel pedicure. When I was ready to pay the price jumped to $70!!! I have never paid $70 for a pedicure in my life. I called and asked the owner how much a gel pedicure is and he said $55 max! I guess Sara, the nail tech, decided to just up the price without first telling me. They told me they give me a refund for overcharging me, so I drove all the way there and when I got there they refused to refund my $15 and said "gel pedicures are now an additional $20!" So I received a gift certificate for this place... Went in one time & was told the rest of what was left on my gift certificate would cover for 2 pedicures. 2 pedicures. I go in to get two pedicures, and the only reason why i came back to this place in the first place was because i was told i would get two pedicures... My first time in the gentleman was so rude, was very rough, despite me telling him he was hurting me, and made me bleed in multiple arrears in my nails... And i have healthy nails.. Overall i was overcharged for the work they did, and they clearly have no communication about their prices. When i told them the gentleman who signed the certificate told me i would get two pedicures for that price, and to contact him, he refused. So, very happy I never get to go back there. read more

This was my go to place for getting my nails done due to appointments can be scheduled online, no wait times, and good service by the nail technicians. The reason why I am rating less is because of the manager. Out of the 3 times that I have been there, twice I have experienced him blowing up my phone asking me to come early. The third time, he called me 8 times in the matter of 15 minutes asking me to come in early. That is borderline harassment. There is a reason why I chose a particular time to get my nails done. I wasn't going to post a review but I feel like I need to leave a comment in regards to this place. First off I contacted them and when I showed up for my appointment, they didn't seem to have any idea as to who I was and they were rude about me showing up. The technician they put me with was EXTREMELY rude and forceful, yanking on my hands the entire time. Gave me no time at all to even choose a polish, I felt extremely rushed. Definitely the opposite of a nice, relaxing manicure that I set out to get. I witnessed the same awful and rude customer service to another woman that came in, giving me a sigh of relief that they just lack bedside manners. At one point their attitudes were so bad another woman looked at me with a yikes look on her face. Sadly I am pretty certain that the man I had been dealing with is the owner and the woman that I worked with may have been his wife. If this is the case, they really need to rethink their customer service strategy. I am less than a week in to my gel manicure and my polish is chipping and cracking. Under different circumstances I would contact the salon and go back to have it fixed. Sadly it was such an awful experience all the way around, I would not subject myself to stepping into foot in there again. read more

One star because of cleanliness and questions of sanitization... Today I had an older gentleman named Long do a mani / pedi... At one point he dropped the nail clippers on the floor and cut himself... he simply wiped the clippers and used the glue at his station to stop his hand from bleeding... I'm pretty sure that container of glue should not be used on any other clients.... He finished my manicure and then on to the pedicure station.... As he approached the pedicure area, he dropped tools again. No big deal. As he was doing the pedicure, he dropped the lid of the orange scrub into my dirty pedicure water. He retrieved the lid and just shook the water off and placed the lid back on the container.... that they will be using on other clients. The lid was not washed, rinsed or sanitized after it fell into my dirty water! The lady tech doing a pedicure in the next chair just looked at him... but she did not do or say anything. The only reason I used this nail salon was that a friend had given me a gift certificate for my birthday. The only other time I have been to Happy Nails was about 3-4 years ago, and I had the same issues... an older gentleman did my manicure. That time he cut me when trimming my cuticle and used some type of glue/solution in a polish bottle.... as my cuticle bled, he dipped into the bottle, put the stuff onto my cuticle to stop bleeding and contaminated the bottle when re-dipping and touching my bleeding cuticle. That is the reason I have never been back until today. After the lid incident during the pedicure, I was looking around. Floors are dirty, dust is everywhere. The salon could use a thorough deep cleaning and a health inspection to ensure they are up to code. Living in Anthem, there are numerous nail salons in the area that far exceed the quality and cleanliness that Happy Nails offers for the same pricing. This is my 2nd time there and sadly, I will not be back. read more

I like this shop. It was clean and neat as well as had a personalized service via appointment. I booked my appointment online and added a service upon arrival. It was nice to walk into a shop without all the extra commotion and long wait times. The only service that I miss coming from Texas, is the beverage service.. Owner told me to pick out a color, then another female nail tech called me over. The guy I made an appointment with wasn't even there! I was not too happy with the service that I received from this business. At first I was happy, but as the days went on I realized the quality of the work was not up to par. I got gel nails as well as a pedicure. By day three, I had already left town and the gel polish was already holding back. There's normally takes about three weeks for me to happen. The WORST nail salon experience since moving to Henderson in October! Here's why: My young daughter and I came in as walk-ins about 6:30pm and were promptly told that they close up at 7pm. When I asked if they would have time for two full mani/pedis, they said YES. We picked out polish and were seen fairly quickly. Anyone who has had their nails done anywhere is used to the fact that the salon workers will occasionally speak their native language (Vietnamese here). What I did not like about this place right off the bat was that the salon workers carried on loud, lengthy conversations in Vietnamese without any regard for their clients. It was obvious that they were talking a lot of shit about their clients in the salon. It was an uncomfortable, unpleasant experience. I was raised bilingual, and was always taught that speaking a foreign language in front of people who can not understand it was RUDE. Plain & simple. My young daughter picked out some trendy polish for her nails & toes. She was on the verge of tears when she left the salon because the nail tech was rough with her and told her that she didn't like her color choices and that they were ugly. WTF?! Who tells a kid that??? Last time I checked, the client picks whatever they like. Way to treat a future client! I was really upset that my daughter was treated this way. My manicure tech was rough and caused two of my fingers to bleed. My gel french manicure was ok, but it had a couple noticeable mistakes in the tip polish. Attributed to pure laziness and rushing to close up and go home. My pedicure was the only thing that looked decent, however, rather than being allowed drying time inside the salon, we were rushed to pay and rushed out. My toes were not dry when I left the salon. Honestly, NOT worth the money I paid. I will not be back to this salon and I will be letting all of my friends, family and co-workers know why. Pure shit. I live about 2 miles from the salon. I used to do my nails (acrylic and gel) with Christine, who was the only one there that knew what she was doing. She was perfect! After 1 year, she left. I tried with 3 different people, but all these 3 times I went there I spent 2 hours each time, because they had to redo my nails again. It was horrible, the gel looked like it was done by a child and the acrylic was not even on the sides of my nails. Every time they tried to fix it, it got worse. I was seated immediately without an appointment which was great but I could not communicate with my artist at all. So much so that I couldn't let her know that I wanted a color instead of clear over my white acrylic. I tried and tried but it wasn't happening. She cut me many times and it hurts a lot right now to type. My nails took quite a while compared to some other places and don't look that great. Of course they're solid white which looks pretty dumb but also the shape isn't too consistent and they look so thin that they might break soon. When it was almost over she quoted me $35 for solid white nails with no colored polish. I told her the website said $27 so she said that white powder costs $5 extra. I said why but she didn't understand and said "OK, $30." I got my old nails removed which costs $5 so I said that was fine. I usually go to Nail Bar LV but I wanted to save some money. My favorite nail place!!! Brand new!! I've been going to Eric for years and now he and his wife have their own salon ~ about time!! Very clean and nice furniture. There is free valet and they offer softdrinks, water and WINE!! Eric is a blast ~ will keep you laughing and he's super quick and does an awesome job. His wife Tanya is just as good, sometimes even better!! lol I refer all my friends b/c it's worth it. They are just hands down good at their job. I love how my nails look each time. And trust me I'm super picky about who I go to. Haven't found a good nail guy/girl for a long long time. But now I have it! I get gelish done nowadays.. no more acrylics!! I just moved to Inspirada so I'm looking for a new nail girl... So yesterday I went in for a pink and white backfill and a pedicure with Sarah because I read the reviews and it seemed like her reviews were pretty good on here... I made sure to let her know that I'm a dental assistant and my nails lift very easily so to use whatever she needed to do to make sure that they didn't lift... it's been a little over 24 hours and one of them to obviously lifting... I was pretty happy with the nails for the most part it just seems like nails as they come to my cuticles are not flush with my nails... I enjoyed the pedicure the polish job is not that great though .. The salon seemed very clean and everybody seemed very nice the experience would've been much better if they didn't speak their language loud the whole two hours I was there...since it's only day two and I already have a nail lifting it looks like I'm still on the lookout for a new nail girl in the area... update: it hasn't even been two weeks all my nails are lifting the only thing I think about whenever I touch my hair is this lady because every nail is lifting and my hair is getting torn out by just washing it.... smh!!!
