Honestly don't even know where to begin. Let me start with a brief background of myself. My family and I get our nails done every two weeks and have been trying to find a new salon to go to on a regular basis. I also recently had surgery on my ankle so I specifically request just a polish change and trim on my left foot. As soon as we entered the salon my nail tech (I think her name was Lisa) pushed her microblading eyebrow business on us. We continually said no, and she went as far as showing us pictures and I finally had to be stern and say "I am not interested." She made myself and my family feel awful about our eyebrows. Secondly I asked her multiple times to not do certain things to my injured ankle. She responded with "I know" and would continue to attempt to try to do the things I asked her not to do on my ankle I just had surgery on a month ago. Her excuse was "I'll be gentle." No means no Lisa. When it came time for my services, she continued to drill on my nails after wrapping them and I stopped her to find out why. She kept saying that it wouldn't hurt my skin. I told her my skin is fine, it's my nails that are weak and a drill weakens them further. If she would've let them soak longer, she wouldn't have needed the drill. When she painted my accent nail, she kept saying the color wouldn't come up if I didn't have something underneath. I understand that, but use the color that is on the sample, not just guess. If you don't know how to match it, then don't have it on the sample. My pedicure was very sub par. I think my "massage" was less than 30 seconds. The shortest massage I have ever had, even for a standard pedicure. Eventually the owner (I think) asked my sister why we were getting upset. My sister explained and my nail tech then decided to argue with me and I finally had to say please just finish, I don't plan on coming back anyways. I have excess nail polish around my nails since she didn't clean them before they dried, as well as an accent nail that was far from the color I chose. As we were leaving, the owner had his Yelp app open waiting for our response. Sir, saying "sorry" does not change the way your services were rendered today. I understand why the salon was so empty now.
Stay away from this salon unless you are looking for sloppy work, and someone to tell you how awful your eyebrows looks, and further aggravate your injury. read more
