My friend introduced me to the nail spot and I can honestly say it's a 50-50 chance that you may like your nails. My first time there I received an older gentleman to do my nails and I did not like them, but they allowed me to come back and correct the problem and he was also friendly. I will honestly ask around and look at everyone's work before you decide. If you want extra extravagant nails, go to the lady upfront Hanna. Lilly did this set she's a good option to. Nice shape, clean lines, even polish application etc read more

I went to the salon for the first time since it had transferred ownership. I had an amazing pedicure, and I enjoyed my gel nails being put on. However, little did I know I would end up with a serious septic joint osteomyelitis, and I had to have surgery on my pinky finger the joints from the bottom of my pinky all the way to the knuckle were infected. They had to remove bone and tissue and drain it. I was on strong antibiotics that caused me to be sick and pain medication. I've had a lot of follow up visit from the surgeon SMOC and the infectious disease, doctor, Dr. Libby. My toes both pinkies showed areas of black underneath the gel fingernail polish I had that was some type of fungus I was told. I am getting ready to start physical therapy for my finger. My first joint in my pinky is completely bent. I cannot straighten it out, and I still suffer from pain from it. I don't know what went wrong. What happened? But I'm very disheartened at what I had to go through. I already have no immune system due to having MS and I receive infusions for that. That always leaves me vulnerable, however, I never would have expected this to happen to me as I've been getting my nails done for 30 plus years. read more

HORRIBLE FIRST EXPERIENCE! i asked for a soak off for my nails and toes, he proceeded to use a false tip to remove my acrylic from my nails and toes, he was so rough that my big toe started to bleed and the rest of my toe nails are damaged, 0/10 would not recommend anyone to come here especially if it's your first time read more

I absolutely love this Nail Salon, I have been to a lot of different different salons around the Chesapeake area and I've always had problems with lifting, peeling of gel, and my nails just coming off. I have never had that issue here and the owner along with her employees are very friendly. They do the best pedicures ever and I will always keep going back. read more

I would honestly give zero stars if I could ! This man was completely rude ! I asked nicely twice if I could have someone else do my pedicure, he yelled at me and told me to get out and "shut my mouth." His pedicure consisted of cutting my toes nails with a cuticle cutter, rinsing my feet my the cuticle oil and using the scrub. I would never go back to this place ! Oh and how could i forget...he flicked me off as I was walking out lol. read more

I had a mixed experience at this nail salon. The husband did a great job on my nails once, but the wife's work has been inconsistent. I've had a rough pedicure from her and a fill-in that lifted quickly. Yesterday, I went for a pedicure and it was fine, but today I wanted a full set with white French tips. The wife started putting all white powder on my nails, which wasn't what I asked for. She seemed frustrated when I asked her to soak them off and continued to drill my nails. I felt uncomfortable, so I asked to speak with her outside. She was upset that I didn't like how she was doing my nails. I specifically asked for round nails, but she gave me almond stilettos. Then tell me not to come back lol ..how are mad at the customer when I've been nothing but polite to you while customers in your establishment and you are very unprofessional thinking I'm going to pay for something I do not like or agree with.. be careful they only want our money and care nothing about you I will continue to drive from suffolk to vabeach for my nails and exceptional customer service cause this place isn't it. Not to mention wasted 2hrs and no apology.. read more

Idk why this place has such low ratings. Came on a sunday and got a pedicure. It wasn't busy at all and the tech that did my nails was very nice. Everything was very sanitary (cleaning all tools and my feet between each step). Definitely coming back. read more

I got my nails done on Christmas Eve , a full set. by christmas day one nail was lifting, and by the following day 2-3 nails were lifting. I called on the 26th about a repair and they told me to come the 27th because they were closed. I show up, wait 30 minutes , and the women looks at my nails and says "I see no issue". as someone who goes to cosmetology school, you could very clearly see the issue. I then had to physically push my nails up so she could see there was an issue , then she says "okay I see " she then continues to repair my nails with the WRONG COLOR ACRYLIC, so now my French tip nails are half clear acrylic half pink. It is now the 28th and a nail fell off in my sleep. I am very upset due to the fact that I got my nails done here, and bought three different gift certificates for my family to get their toes done. this is not cool and the lady had an art when I sat down for my repair. read more

When I went in on Friday I never expected that I would end up injured. Not only was it the worse pedicure I ever had but they were rude, and they argued over how to do my pedicure. The hot stone massage I had took all of 3 minutes. The pedicure was so fast it doesn't seem he did anything , unless you look at my heel and see the cut owners husband did by being rough at scrubbing my heels, and the polish that looks like 4yr old did. Polish was so chunky and thick I could of peeled it in one layer. What makes the maddest is injuring my by cutting me.This nail place should have a sign under their name saying,"Enter at your own risk you might leave injured." Save your money and go to another nail salon. read more

Happy Nails & Spa - When you go to this keep in mind when you leave this nail place you might leave injured. This is the most awful nail I've been to. Don't go - Nail Salons Near Me - Chesapeake, Virginia

WORSE manicure/pedicure in my life. They were shouting at me because I wanted to see a price sheet. A male came over and then he started shouting with the lady while doing my pedicure. Then I was told to remove my own polish from my fingers after they were soaked. Horrible attitudes. Nasty customer service! read more

I went to Happy Nails and Spa on Thursday, April 18th to get a fill in, toe polish change, and eyebrows wax. I paid $55 and tipped a total of $7. Only to return today, April 22nd, to get a polish change on my hands and toes because my polish had streaks in it. Since, I got gel polish on my nails, there's no way my polish should have been looking like that and it also looked like I needed another fill-in. SMH I assumed the polish was old and my polish change would be free. Well, so much for me assuming...Jenny charged me $25 and stated that if I had gotton yellow polish again, it would have been free, but since I decided to get a french tips, I had to pay $25. I told her I had no problems paying $5 for french on my hands and $5 for french on my toes, but to pay the full $25 was ridiculous. I just want to know if the yellow polish had streaks in it on Thursday...would it been better on Monday? Then, she argued back and forth with me and started speaking her language to her workers. Very unprofessional. So, I tried to explain my point again and she was even more unprofessional and raising her voice at me. Can I get some good customer service is the question of the day? I started typing my thoughts on FB and she told me to put my phone away, she knew what I was doing. I told her that that was my phone and I can do what I wanted to do on it. I'm outdone and will NEVER go back to this place. read more

I love it here!!! I've been here in and off since I moved farther away and today I made the drive and let me tell you I don't regret it!

Okay I just had to totally go off in this place. I took my daughter to get nails fixed she told the receptionist(who didn't know shit) wht she wanted. The receptionist told the tech and the tech quoted me a price. Kool told my daughter I'll be back. Got back I could tell that something was wrong. I told my daughter to come where, she went to explain that the guy in there didn't know wht he was going either. My daughter is learning to do nails herself so she's not green to it. She actually had to tell this guy what to do step by step can u say sad. Let me remind u my daughter is 15. Took 2 hours to fix one nail and a fill in. Now it's time to pay. Let me remind u again that she quoted me a price when I can in. That's exactly y I asked before they did anything. I pull my card out and she says a different price. I said I will pay the different price from what u quoted this time being nice about the whole situation. But don't u know this bitch had the nerve to come out her mouth with some real slick shit. So now I'mma give u what u ain't ready for. I tried to bite her damn head off in their. Rude unprofessional asses!!!!! I don't recommend u take your dog there!!!!! Sincerely, Mr. Price read more

I wanted to get my nails done while I wanted for my husband to finish up getting his hair cut so I stopped here because it was next door. I wanted to get a fill in and pedicure but the lady helping me ended up taking all the nail polish off instead of just filling it in. Also, she made 2 of my fingers bleed due to careless errors. It took longer than I was expecting so I didn't even get my pedicure. Not a bad place overall. The decor was very nice and it was clean inside but will not be going back. read more

Worst pedicure I've ever gotten! Just terrible, rushed and sloppy. And the polish job looks like a 4 year old did them!

Dont go there. They are horrible and rude. Went for a pedicure and it was done in 10 minutes, no proper cleaning of the toes, or of the foot itself. They put no scrub on the leg and the polish was done so badly with no base coat. I went because of the convenient location but no thanks, i will travel for my better service elsewhere read more

Please, Please save your fingers, toes and money and never go to the HAPPY NAILS & SPA in Churchland. I took my mother in-law and myself in to have fill-ins and pedicures done. We were assisted to the pedicure chair and waited over 45 minutes to be seen. My mother in-laws pedicure took all of 15 minutes and one of her toes was bleeding. Then her fill-in and GEL- polish job looked like a child had completed it there was nail polish all over her hands and arm. To make a long story short they attempted to charge me $113.00 for poor customer service, and a hack job. So if you like to waste your time & money, get cut, and enjoy sloppy work be my guest. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ! I went to get a fill in and my sister went to get a pedicure , we can soon as they opened to avoid the wait so we were seated and waited about 20 mins because two ladies and in and needed and eyebrow wax okay cool I don't mind then another lady came in asking for one so that was 10 more mins so the guy came and got me and took me to his chair and started taking the polish off my nails . So let me tell y'all something the ONLY thing I like doing for myself is getting my nails done I like my nails long and almond cut I DON'T mind paying for good work at all ! Before he even did anything he kinda looked at my nails like UGH! Then told me "it's going to be $37" okay that's cool . Then asked me do I want a cut down I said no I like my nails long he replied "no no they are to long " umm first off I thought I was paying you ? And I thought these are my fingers ? Lol I was a bit confused but long story short he cut me it doesn't look like I just got my nails done and I ask him if he can fix the shape and he told be it was like that before . Bro what's the point of me getting a fill in if your not gonna do nothing but Change my polish ? Oh and he cracked my nail because he was to into talking to the man beside him and wasn't paying any attention. I was gonna call up there and see if they could fix it but I just decided not to because they are rude and honestly I wouldn't wanna go back anyways read more
