Chunkiest manicure I've ever gotten. I'd like to go back tomorrow to have them fixed but I've seen other reviews that pretty much illustrate that this is the norm and not to waste another hour trying to fix them. This service took over an hour and I was charged 5$ for trimming my cuticles. I've never been charged extra for that service. My nails are so lumpy and Heavy. I can't wait to have them fixed but I may be stuck with these lumps until I have time and a new place. read more

If I could give zero stars I would!!! I Went to this salon today and was completely disappointed and disrespected by the nail tech. I will NEVER go back to this place again!! The older woman (The owner) who sits on the left (when you look from the front door) attempted to do my nails. She looked at me in an aggressive manner then yelled at me b/c she suggested I get a fresh set of GEL NAILS. I told her no just a refill b/c it was 6pm on a Wednesday & I was rushing (I also had my daughter with me who needed a refill as well) she yelled "don't call me tomorrow if a nail falls off" I got up, left and went to another salon that did what I asked and did an amazing job!! The ignorance at Happy Mani Peddi is unacceptable!!!! I wondered why the store was always empty and now it all makes sense! Happy Mani Pedi is one of the cleanest and trendiest nail salons I have been to in the area.( I have been to quite a few over the past years) Amima did my nails. I had gotten a full set and a pedicure. She did an amazing job on both! She is very skilled and knows exactly what she is doing. All their pedicure tools is in sterile packages. They open the tool packaging in front of you. Their gel polish is great quality as well. Their prices are affordable and no my nails did not fall off in a week! read more

Had a nail appointment today. Upon arrival, I was told that the owner was not in today and another tech would have to do my nails. I was informed that my refill would be $45 since I had long nails. I informed the tech that I just had my refill just two weeks ago and was told that there was a price increase. The chart on the wall still had the same prices as there was 2 weeks ago. Then he told me that it was an additional $10 because of my long nails. I asked which is it? Was there a price increase or is it $10 extra charge for long nails I asked. He responded, that the owner could charge any price he wanted. I was told that I could speak to the owner when I came in again..I said that there was not going to be a next time. I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone nor would I patronage this nail salon again. Very unprofessional. My manicure was a total mess. Excess acrylic was not cleaned off and the polish did not cover the entire nail and my nail polish had bubbled on top. Do not patronize this nail salon if you are looking for a good manicure. Stopped in here today for first time and love my nails! It was a bit expensive, but I'm very happy with how they look. My daughter and I went together and had the powder dip nails done it was $100 for both + tip. That's more than other places I've gone to,but what can you do. I am happy with the results read more

I really loved coming here. I adored the woman i went to as well as one other girl there. But all the good people started leaving. I figured id try to continue to go because it's convenient and familar. The last time i went she did a nice job on my pedicure but tried to upsell me on everything. I called and made and appointment today, when i arrived they basically said come back which i couldnt do. So that will be the last time i go there. I visited this salon today, and my experience was horrible. I came in for an acrylic refill and pedicure. Upon arrival the reception was cold and rude. A male technician started my services with my pedicure. He is an older man, bald with a patch of hair on the top of his head. He cut my toe and it was bleeding and painful. The same technician serviced my nails. My nails are almond shaped. I asked him to file them the same shape but he could not shape them. Additionally he wanted to charge me for shaping my nails. When it first opened the staff were wonderful and friendly. Now the new staff working there are awful. The tech I had,Kathie, was rude and condescending. I had a full set of hard gel nails (less than two months old), that I wanted removed. The refill I had gotten two weeks prior was not sealed correctly and fungus had started to grow. I asked for them to be soaked off (had it done before because I have thin nails and other techs have done it) and she said she couldn't soak them off only if they are acrylic or powder. So she proceeded to rip the nails off tearing one nail down to the nail bed and acting like I was the issue. On the internet there are videos of hard gel nails getting soaked off. She lied and was nasty the whole time. read more

I paid for full acrylic set, the nail tech tried to charge me $5 extra for "long" nails and they are not long. The tech was rushing and did a horrible job and when I asked her to fix it she got an attitude and said there was nothing wrong with my nails. She said ask anyone in the salon. They treat paying customers horribly and I would not be returning. The younger tech did do a good job on my daughters pedicure cause she wasn't rushing to get to other clients. If it wasn't for the rude nail tech I would have given the place another try but her attitude was horrible and she is, according to her, the only nail tech that works there. Smh! read more

Went in for gel manicure and regular pedicure. Two techs. A man named John and a woman (don't know name; very thin, short hair). To his client John referred to the woman as "the boss". I got "the boss". Pedicure lasted about 20 mins tops. NEEDED that massage chair this particular day. She did not start it for me. I tried but couldn't get it to work. I asked her twice for help and she claimed she doesn't know how to work the chairs (the boss!). During the manicure she used that curved metal tool ONCE on each nail and it never touched my cuticle. I asked her to please make sure my cuticles are pushed back well. She replied that she didn't have to because I have no cuticles (???). She quickly filed and buffed. Used a well-used brush to dust off my nails then started applying the gel. There was definitely still dust on my nails! She rushed through the whole process speaking her native language the entire time. John never once responded (maybe she was on a Bluetooth - don't know). Never once spoke to me in English except for my two inquiries. Very uncomfortable. Also....her station was not clean at all. Have been there a few times now. Has never been a positive experience (truelly I am not really very picky) but never before this bad Won't EVER go there again and I do not recommend. read more

Let me start by saying I have been here twice. The first time I went to this salon, while they were friendly, they did not seem to be educated on modern nail techniques. I also found that nipping away cuticles is not a given. You will need to pay more money for a full blown manicure in order to properly address your cuticles. Fine. What was unacceptable to me was that on BOTH occasions, the dip was paced over my cuticles leading to them prematurely lifting. This could have easily been avoided by simply taking two extra minutes to clip the dead skin away. Additionally, my nails were filed unevenly (almond shaped) and the nail polish (a French manicure using a gel color) would have been better applied if it was also done using the dip powder in the special well designed for French manicures. I can only assume she did not have access to that specific tool. Now - I'm sure you're wondering if I spoke up, I did not. I'm a busy working mom, and I had my 10 month old with me so I did not have time or patience to critique everything she was doing. Bottom line - I'm not a fan. I tried giving their facility another chance, but I was disappointed for a second time and won't be making it a third. read more

I was here today and had the worst manicure I have ever had. It lasted all of 15 minutes, the girl was so rude the whole time she was doing it and now I've been home two hours later and it already chipped. So not only did i spend $28 on this terrible manicure now i have to go back and waste more time getting it fixed bc i spent too much not to go back. Terrible, waited over an hour for a pedicure. Mind you I called ahead and was told to come over that they weren't busy and it was only walkins. When I get here some lady that came after me had appt and was taken before me. After waiting, some young girl who appeared to have been her first day or hour took care of me and didn't even know how to do a pedi. Didn't scrub properly wasn't even looking at feet, or soles. I asked her to cut nails on the side, she attempted and was old me that's it, as if she was me and knew that's what I wanted. Just horrified and terrible. Awful job. But then has the nerve to ask if I like the color. I picked it right? That's about the only thing that was right and it was picked by me cause even the polish looks terrible. Don't waste your time or money. Mind you I paid full price and not an add on for 15 for other service. There's no need to rush and do such a terrible job. read more
