Regular milk tea and Hokkaido tea
Amy C.

So Royal tea closed down and my son needs another boba spot. We occasionally come to happy lemon. We ordered a regular milk tea and Hokkaido milk tea. The Hokkaido had brown sugar in it. I do like their version better than royal tea. Quality of boba is good. I do like a few places around town. We will probably pop in here every once in a while.

This is a cute boba/bubble waffle spot in College Park. We got the Boba Milk Tea with Puff cream and it was ok- very sweet- but I was hoping for more flavor. It was $8. They have fun games, decks of cards, and a claw game, so it's for sure a fun spot to hang out. Just not my favorite.

I've come here before but today the boba wasn't very. The balls tasted rubbery and the drink had a lot of syrup that didn't mix well with the foam. I wish there was more foam. The foam was their puff foam which is delicious but I could not taste it in the drink. I wish the whole drink just tasted like the foam. The workers are super friendly and there is space to study and work. 7.99 for this drink is way too expensive for what you get.

They were so friendly upon arrival and even after obtaining my drinks. I ordered a mango tea and original waffle. The kids and I loved the waffle and the hubby and I loved the decor.

This is a great spot for a variety of boba teas and bubble waffles! My daughter and I stopped by for tea and ordered their Oreo Milk Tea and Mango Green Tea, both with 50% sugar. Their staff are always kind and friendly, offering suggestions about their seasonal limited time offerings. Their cafe is simple and always kept clean. Their parking lot is easy in and out, which I appreciate being on the busy/popular Colonial Drive. This is a great family friendly spot as well. Highly recommend!

On my quest to find my favorite taro milk boba tea I stopped here. (conveniently located within the drive back from the pottery studio) The interior is super cute! With Japanese style claw machines and even one where you can get a Sanrio character. Service was great, and friendly. Admittedly, I was a little disappointed to find that the closest thing to a taro milk tea they have is an Ube cream puff thing that is honestly more like a milkshake than a tea. It was good, don't get me wrong, but I would not categorize it as tea at all. Loved the taste of the ube infused boba pearls though. I don't know that this is the first place I'd think of if I'm craving a milk tea. I can't speak to the bubble waffle, it did look good though, so perhaps on another occasion I will give that a try.

Still my go to spot for boba! Staff is still friendly and they now ask almost every time about app/rewards usage, so I'm updating this again because it's been very consistent! The drinks are very consistent as well. Sometimes though, the boba may be a liiiiittle hard in the center, but I think that may actually just be because I'm not consuming the drink right away so the boba may have hardened a bit from the cold drink. They've added more claw machines, which is pretty entertaining, and does take up more seating space. But I haven't had any issues getting seats when I come here. I've brought my little fur-baby in before (in a bag of course), as I've waited for my drink to be prepared, and staff were very friendly about it.

Happy Lemon was a chain i briefly experienced up north and was glad to see them arrive to the area. In the mood for some boba, I stopped in. Lots of options, something for anyone to enjoy! The staff were very friendly and helpful trying to navigate the extensive menu. I settled on a pudding tea drink, figuring it would be more on the sweet side. It was not quite as I expected, being a very subtle flavor. It did not quite meet my sweet tooth needs but that was probably for the best. Overall, it's worth popping in when wanting to try one of the many drink options in the area! Pricing was not too high and the variety of flavors and quick service is much appreciated.

This is a very cool spot to enjoy an amazing tea, slushy or any of their amazing liquid masterpieces. The staff is super friendly and the place is super cute and great for kids.

Loved this! Drink was refreshing ( can't go wrong with mango!). Ladies behind the counter were so friendly and fun. Place is immaculate!!! I was impressed with their cleanliness. The cost is a little high, ($7.00 may be the norm?) but that is MY issue.

I really enjoyed the concept here. They were having an anime/k-pop market when we happened to go which I thought was a cool idea. They have all sorts of bubble waffles that have different toppings. Just came in for a tea and got the mango passionfruit tea with tapioca boba. I am not sure what kind of seeds were in this tea, but they were so hard and crunchy I felt like I was going to break a tooth. The flavor of the tea was great and the sweetness was fine, but I actually had to strain the seeds out once I got home to make this edible. I would go back and try some other menu items, but this one needs to be modified.

I got the original waffle with puff cream. The waffle was warm, crisp yet chewy, and light and paired well with the cream. It not being overly sweet was a plus. The servers were helpful as I was deciding on my order and the restaurant was clean. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

I was thinking about getting Boba Tea and searched Yelp for a location near me! I'm so happy that Yelp directed me to this lovely, cheerful location! As I entered this space, the vibes were so sunny and bright! People were friendly and enjoying various table games. It's definitely a space where you and a friend could come just to take a break and have some refreshments. Games are provided, or you could bring your own game. I ordered a delicious Honey Lemon Green Tea drink and a very tasty bubble waffle! Both were delicious. I'd like to return to try other menu items because honestly, everything on the menu looked tasty.

It is located in the same plaza as the Miniso, bookstore, Bath and Body Works, and Ulta. It can be a little crazy finding parking and people sometimes are a bit aggressive with trying to get a space, especially around peak meal times. Be patient and drive slowly. I did get a spot after getting lucky. The boba tea shop sells food as well, including pho, banh mi sandwiches, and a few smaller bites/appetizers. It was packed with people ordering food to accompany their tea, so it was impossible to find a table to sit at. For ordering, they have a tablet or you can order at the counter. I went to the counter as someone was entering a big order on the tablet. The fellow at the counter was polite and answered my questions about the drinks. You can adjust the sweetness on the drinks and pay a little extra for the alternate milks if you have an allergy or preference. I ordered the small size of their Earl grey boba milk tea with the brown sugar pearls, less sweetness, and almond milk. They gave me a buzzer for my order and I stood off to the side to wait for my order. I did come during a busy period, so it took a bit longer to get my drink order. The pearls were made fresh in front of me, so the bottom of my cup was warm from making the brown sugar boba. The pearls were a good consistency - not gummy or hard. I feel the tea was a little lackluster in a way and not the best I've ever had. Maybe I did get a weak batch that day, but it felt watered down and the syrup added a little flavor to it. I'm mixed about this place - I like the boba consistency and freshness, but the tea tasting a bit weak is a deal breaker for me.

The bowl was wayyyyyy too sweet for me. Too much of the sauce. But the rice and chicken were pretty good. The pork belly is grilled and not seasoned much. So added it to the bowl to calm the sweet and it worked well. Overall, this place isn't worth queuing for, but still pretty good considering its location. Solid 6/10 for me.

Moge Tee offers a good assortment of various drinks, ranging from dairy and tea, matcha, fruit teas, fresh fruit and yogurt bases, and even coffee; you'll surely find something that matches your taste here. I do like that it seems most flavors are derived from fresh ingredients, and they have pretty freshly brewed tea and quick service. I got their recommended super fruit green tea with regular boba, and light sugar and light ice. The sugar and ice adjustments were perfect for me (I generally enjoy almost no sweetness to half at most). I liked seeing the handmade boba, as it was not the typical black color; this made it more gummy. It had a little more goop texture than I would prefer, and the fruits could have been more ripe for being in Florida. Still, I liked the tea strength and would come here again. They gave me a thick stick of watermelon in my tea!

I think this place does an insane amount of take-out business. Food was dynamite. Just look at those buns. Adorned with plenty of toppings that pack a wallop of flavor. Always moist and fluffy and the perfect levels of sweet and/or savory. One could make a breakfast, lunch, and dinner out of this section alone. The dim sum, though, that's what left the biggest impact on me. Dim sum places, I feel like, are trying to capitalize on the popularity and offer smaller and smaller portions. Small dumplings, poorly-filled buns, smaller meat-to-filler ratios, etc. Not Bakery 1908, though.
