I'm a first-timer to Happy Joes. I'm not from around here and kept hearing good things about the place. I was told to get a pizza with half taco and half BLT. We utilized the online ordering and added large spaghetti, cheese bread and oreo pizza. The online ordering that was presented on the website was ok (not the best quality) to order through, however, after I hit submit, within 5 minutes I received a phone call from the local HJ manager asking what my spaghetti order was. He explained that the website ordering was meant for all HJ locations, however, not all HJ's have the same items! I could not get my plain spaghetti as I ordered through the website, because my local HJ's does not make it. Instead, the local manager made me a spaghetti bake times two, hoping my kids would eat that. The amazing part is that after my order was delivered, the manager Corey, called me back to ask if the kids were satisfied! Corey went above and beyond to satisfy a customer, even though he has obstacles that his own company gives him.
Another discrepancy is that the website says there is pan and thin crust available, however, the HJ manager verified that there is no thin, only gluten free, regular and chicago style and cauliflower.
Over all, the quality and taste were excellent and I would definitely order again, however, I will call in my order next time, rather than ordering online. read more
