Favorite quick Chinese food in town. The girl that works the front is always so nice and I never wait longer than 10 minutes for the food.

So,I am a BITCH when it comes to food quality, freshness, presentation, and most importantly taste…read more With a Health Department score consistently of 100, and can feel good when ordering. I have been coming here for years. I have watched staff come and go, but the food is consistently excellent in quality and taste! When evaluating a restaurant, consistency is the key! That means that every time I can feel comfortable knowing that I am getting the very best quality and best tasting food. I get that here. . . Each and every time. I love egg foo yong, in particular, shrimp egg foo yong. I have tried it several places, and here it is consistently the best. They give you three (3) shrimp filled patties, instead of two. Their food, in particular the egg foo yong is golden brown and crispy on th outside. Other establishments I have tried, have given me two (2) patties swimming in grease! () None of the food here is greasy. Their stir fried veggies are tasty, tender, and yet still have a fresh crispness to them. So good! When you enter the building through the door, you step into the foyer. You then open the door, and feel the cool air on your face, and you are relieved to escape the heat and humidity. Over the years the inside decor has changed. There are now a few booths along the wall and windows, with various size tables to sit at, in the middle of the room. I personally like to sit in a window booth when dining there. Out from the kitchen comes Ivy! Ivy is your cashier, waitress, and buster. She is good at doing all of her tasks with a pleasant attitude, and efficiently. I also, know that whatever you order, whether "take out," or "dine in," that when Ivy bring it to you, your order comes correct! If you've asked for it, it is there! Whether extra gravy, chopsticks, or fortunes cookies . . . Rest assured, your order is correct! No calling back asking , "Where is my . . .?" It's all there! I ate there yesterday, and I am going back today, for more! Today, I will take fotos, of the place and my order so you have a better idea of what I am talking about! You know I don't play when it comes to food! Enjoy!

This is the best. Everything is cooked fresh and the portions are ample. We had great service. It…read moreis an older restaurant but well worth the trip. We had hot and sour soup (my husband liked it but would have enjoyed more if it was a little spicier). I had egg drop which was very good. We tried the crab rangoon which had a very faint hint of sweetness but was definitely stuffed with crab mixture and large size. I really liked it. My husband had General Tao's Chicken and I had sweet and sour chicken. With white rice. Huge portions and fresh!!! Again, he would have liked a little more spice but I thought it was good. There's enough to split a meal. Really enjoyed our dinner and have leftovers for today.

I loved it! I tried friend 5-6 others in town since and no where else even comes close to the freshest, best selection, service or price. The owners, the Seto family are awesome people and always there and make a point to greet their loyal customers by name and wait staff are always friendly and attentive. CANTON ROCKS

We were told by family and friends it was terrible now but we had to try it because everyone has different tastes. Well, sadly, they were right. We had the sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, and pork wor mein. The breading on the sweet and sour chicken was gross! It was crispy on the outside and mush on the inside. It was also flavorless. They put the sweet and sour sauce in a separate container. It had only 2 pieces of pineapple and some carrots. The pork wor mein had a strange taste. We didn't know what it was but it was very unappetizing. The chicken fried rice lace the bean sprouts we loved it was very plain but, it was edible unlike the other two dishes. We have never had throw away food from the old Canton Inn. We threw away everything including the leftover fried rice. We will not be returning. We will miss the flavors of our old Canton Inn. It's so sad to see this done to a once wonderful restaurant.
