I truly love this place, and in fact, I will be going back again very soon. I highly recommend everyone to give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!

We were getting concerned about the time but then the masseuse arrived and began the foot massage. It was great. My previous experiences suggest that foot massage also includes some scalp and forehead massage but it was probably not included here. For the body massage, it was good, but one of us got the hot stones, the other didn't (lack of uniformity). There were 3 of them and everybody was sweet, but the place probably requires more professionalism in terms of customer service.

After I got there, they started right away. The place was clean and it was quiet and dimly lit in the actual massage room. They also played relaxing music during the massage. We chose the body massage for $60/per person. Overall, the massage technique from Mr. Lin was great. I liked the body oil that they used, which was nice and slippery that got into all of my knots. I also liked how generous they were with the lotion when they were massaging my arms. However, the best part about the massage was when he used the hot rocks on my back! Felt like heaven... Some unique things that he did compared to other foot spas, included: he massaged my facial cheeks, he massaged the front of my hands horizontally (odd, but it did feel good), and he spent considerable time with the scalp massage (that felt sooo good). My brother had Ms. Amy and she must have done her job well because I heard him snoring a few times next to me. Amy also spoke a lot of English and asked him how he felt a few times during the massage. In case the manager is reading, there are just 2 things I recommend. 1. There was only one chair to place our outer garments on. Other places have a plastic bin underneath each massage table to allow patrons to store their belongings in individually; and 2. I noticed that U.S. places don't usually do this, but in Vietnam, the foot spas would use a towel and wrap a hot rock at the bottom of a person's feet during a large portion of the massage. It feels REALLY good so if you read this, try it! Thanks again for the experience!

I would recommend trying Purist Massage.

There's no technique (even though they claim they are licensed as massage therapists). There's no understanding of anatomy. Just repetitive movements over and over and over. Want deep tissue? That just means "press harder" in chinese massage. No technique. No understanding. Will it help? Sure, some. Is it worth the price. Nope. Are these trained professionals? Nope. This is basically the wild, wild west of massage. If you go, be prepared to have the silver surfer surfing all over your back, butt, and legs. Oh, and you won't have a sheet anywhere--they just peel it off leaving you fully exposed. Do yourself a favor and go to a real trained and licensed massage therapist. I agreed because I thought it would be a more controlled, therapeutic technique, but it ended up being extremely intense and made the experience uncomfortable. There was also a language barrier, which made it difficult to communicate that the pressure was too much or explain what I wanted. My husband also got a massage and felt that the pressure was a lot. This may be a good fit for someone who likes extremely deep, intense pressure, and I can't speak to their other types of massages, but I personally would not get the deep tissue massage here again.
