Originally...I was told that I could only get massages in the evenings as it seems they were only open late hours. My 1st appt was at 8pm on a Monday and my ex husband did not like that and my dog sitter did not show so I had to reschedule. I had to reschedule a week later because they(the owners) were out on vacay and I got the massage today 5/12 @2:30pm. I was surprised of the time and felt much better with daytime hours. The groupon features Kim Horne. Lots of great reviews on her, however I did not see her and it was never explained to me that I would not be. I was massaged by Carlton Horne. I thought that should have previously been explained to me. I literally did not know I was being massaged by him until he told me he will check back with me after undressing to my comfort level. The area...I live in Rockwall. Right off of 30 and the major shopping areas and altho I gave had a million massages...the surroundings usually fit that type if business. I wasnt very favorable of the locations and my ex husband came to watch my dog in the parking lot and watch out 4 me. The area is not "bad" per se'. Just not what you would expect for a massage parlor location. The establishment was clean and well kept. There was music playing but not relaxation music and not in the room we were in. It was moreso blasting outside. Im used to a more tranquil settin IN the massage room itself. Carlton did a great job. I do think it would have been nice to consider the "pressure" because at some points I was in so much pain...my eyes would water! I do carry allot of stress in my upper shoulders, back and neck. So I know I was pretty knotted up. I do have a better range of motion but my back is extremely sore to the touch. Im lying down in bed writing this review! Lol I cant say this was one of those really good "rub downs". It was like a " to the point" massage and never have I come home THIS SORE before. Im used to having a masseuse add pressure to the knots in my back...but they always ask me to confirm pressure. I'm sure I made sounds to hint to the pain but figured maybe over the next few days...I would feel better. I cant say Ill send people I know...they are delicate women like me! I cannot speak for Kim and maybe things would have been different with her. I do not think its a bad estabishment. Maybe a bit better on consulting with customers on who will be massaging them and definitely being more attentive to the customer's needs IN the moment would be geeat! P.S. Carlton did have a very pleasant attitude and overall...I do not consider this a bad establishment.

Adjusting my back, neck and knees was only the beginning. I've walked with a cane for 6 years because of my bad knee and bulging discs. Every night was tearful and filled with ice packs. However, once I began to see Dr. Darcy regulary, not only was I getting adjustments in my back and knees, I was getting microcurrent treatments. When I researched the stem cell treatments that Dr. Darcy was offering, I knew I wanted to try. I read several testimonials on my own from people who were not his patients in order to remain objective. I was so excited when the day came for my stem cell injection. Dr. Darcy explained that my knee was one of the worst he'd seen and for me to have reasonable expectations. The first month I was a little let down that I had not seen a change. Dr. Darcy told me to be patient. After 90 days, the swelling had gone down and my pain level was about a 2. It was a 10 on my very first visit. Today, a little over a year later, I walk without a cane with minimal pain. I got my Fitbit a week before I saw Dr. Darcy and could barely manage 1500 steps a day. The atmosphere in her office is very pleasant. it is professional with a touch of the personal-art, relaxing music, and pleasant smells abound. Gina is also good at asking what you need and adjusts based on client needs. In my case I explained I was a little sore but wanted relaxation, which was achieved to perfection. In fact I fell asleep at the end and they had to wake me! She used an oil which felt really nice but I didn't feel greasy. Definitely coming back again.
