We love camping up at Kern River and this year it was so nice to have our own trailer set up at our site and ready for us to enter as soon as we got there! We got a walk through with a representative who gave us simple instructions on what we needed to know and then we were able to quickly unpack and jump into vacation mode. From the moment we booked, they have been very kind and accommodating when I would call with my questions and sent us plenty of communication leading up to our trip. We had several issues with the RV and contacted customer support (24/7: 1-800-671-8042) twice on our trip requesting service, and were unable to get any assistance. Our stay was very uncomfortable and I am extremely dissatisfied with the way everything has been handled. Our unit was not well maintained and had a musty smell, like mold/mildew. We had issues with the plumbing from day one, tank sensors were not working and water was backing up in shower and sinks. There was a crack in the shower that leaked water into the kitchen and sleeping area. When we returned the unit they verified the issues, offering us a very minimal discount, about 8% of the overall expense.

Tim delivered and set up the trailer, as well as a table and chairs, and a mat in front of the trailer. It was nice and clean, fridge and stove, a coffee maker, and the generator was set up and ready to go. We just showed up, set up inside the trailer, had a great weekend, loaded back up into our truck, and left. He came and picked up the trailer. I will do this every year from now on. The process of booking a trailer with them was a nightmare. They don't have a website and getting a…read morecall back took days after leaving multiple messages. I finally booked a unit for Memorial Day Weekend sight unseen because their rep (Cheryl) told me their website was down. And because of the holiday, they charged a 3-day minimum - which was fine. Drop off Friday and pick-up Monday. That's what the contract stated and what we paid for. However, when we arrived at the campsite on Saturday - the trailer still was not delivered! We had to call them to make sure it was indeed coming. When they finally brought it, they "forgot" to bring the generator we also rented! And later on night 1, after using only about 3 gallons of water, the fresh water ran out! So they also did NOT DELIVER THE UNIT WITH A FULL TANK OF FRESH WATER. And it is highly unlikely they even emptied the grey water from the last rental since it was full when they came out to refill the water. Gross. In addition, the unit was very old and outdated. Pieces of brittle plastic would pop off when we tried to operate basic levers and knobs. When I shared my displeasure with Cheryl in paying for 3 days and only receiving 2, she reluctantly agreed to refund one day of the rental. As of the time of posting this review - she has not refunded any money to me or returned my messages (no surprise). AVOID THIS VENDOR! There are several other options in the Kernville area that provide far better service and will give you a vacation worth remembering. Our friends at the adjacent campsite used a different vendor and had a completely different (amazing) experience.

He answered the called himself and showed first thing the next morning. Ryan spent time trouble shooting and diagnosing the issues. Unfortunately my slide was stuck due to a "H"column that had twisted and prevented the slide from moving. We opted to leave it close so I can drive it to a shop. I was confident that Ryan knew his trade and is a honest and hard working RV repair technician. I highly recommend.
