I got to give Berry's RV a plus plus again even though they changing a happy daze they're all be barrys to me how about a 2004 Fleetwood southwind from Marty about two and a half years ago couldn't go wrong with that Marty was always on point sold me a really good RV didn't have any problems with it two and a half years waiting for the the right one to come in there for sale a diesel pusher and a gentleman named Mark help me out he was on point just like Marty showed me the RV was on point about everything and everything went well Mario the finance guy was on point helped us find somebody to finance it gave me a pretty good deal on my trade-in couldn't be happier the RV had a few flaws but they going to get them fixed but that diesel pusher runs like a kitten so hopefully the new owners will keep the same traditions the same customer service as berry RV has done for decades because they're always on point and that customer comes first and they know how to treat somebody so if you ever looking for a used RV I definitely check this spot out stay the heck away from camping world because I've never had a good experience through them I've always had a good experience through berry RV read more

We looked several places for a new RV. We went here after several recommendations and it paid off. After looking at several units we found something that met and actually exceeded our expectations for far less than other places. The sales staff are amazing, the paperwork department was effortless and then when we took delivery there we a few minor issues that are common when you purchase a new unit but they addressed them immediately and went over and above with customer service. I've always heard that this place was the place to go when it came to buying an RV in Bakersfield and I'm sold, our experience was A+++ and would send anyone there. I had the misfortune to be caught in the February 2021 Snowpocalypse. My beloved Keystone Outback fishtailed in the high winds and snow into a concrete guardrail. Due to its age, it was totaled. I searched and searched for another Outback. Barry's RV, in Bakersfield, 677 miles from me, had one. I had talked to Mark on the phone and expressed interest. The next day, the Outback was gone. I wrote them through their website, and their Sales Manager Doug says he decided to take it off the list and wholesale it. No consideration of me at all. I'm willing to drive 677 miles because I love the Outback, and they just jerk it. Be careful dealing with this firm - they will sell right out from under you. read more

We purchased a 1991 motorized RV from here. Worst mistake in my life. The first time we broke down the day we purchased it we waited 3 hours to have it hauled. They were suppose to fix the over heating in the RV. Then we get stranded again for the same problem of over heating again. The first time a new radiator was put in. Now it has a new radiator and it still over heats. They sold us a used RV and did not go through the engine and check it out. Found out when it was registered that it had several years owed for previous registration. It must have been sitting when they bought it for years. They never fixed it. Now its going to cost us a lot to have it fixed since Barry's RV never fixed the problem. They will try anything not to fix your RV after it leaves the lot after they say they went through it and fixed it. They lied. S.T. read more

Go see Greg Sheldon if you're in the market for an RV. I was looking for an R-pod after hearing a lot about them..that and they're dang good looking and have quite a following. I found one in Montana that was $35K, checked around (it isn't easy these days to find a camper, trailer or RV of any kind in stock) and found one in Bakersfield and put money down on it. Greg notified me that they were replacing the door since it had been damaged. Long story short. I didn't end up buying that R-pod but dealing with Greg and Barry's makes me wish it would have worked out. I trust them completely. Salesperson was awful. Went to see 11 used RVs listed on RV Trader, he said those were sold, takes "weeks to update the online stuff." Bait & switch unappreciated, especially when he said they didn't have anything in our price range (used, $35k) but left us to wander through the lot with several under that price - although too worn. But when I say he left us, he actually turned his back and walked back to the office. It was a weekday, no other cars in lot. We got a good deal on a used RV. However, make sure to check your final sale slip to make sure they write the actual price you paid. Ours for some reason was stated as $4k less than we paid which would have hurt us during tax season. It was remedied after a few calls. I'll let everyone judge as to why it was written that way for themselves. Price and product were good just be a little more aware of what's being written versus what's being said. read more

This place is horrible don't ever go here they sell you junk they sell you junk I bought an RV here it has a death wobble when I first bought it the radiator had to be replace had a blown head gasket when I bought it didn't give a care to help only thing they replace was the radiator and that was part of the problem but I'd head gasket you should've known how to take it to a shop they have it all fixed and all the bushings are missing from underneath the RV they sell nothing but crap here I would never recommend this place ever they rip me off for this RV for $12,000 I know it's used but come on their safety issues involved I will never go back here ever again and I hope nobody else does too and I hope this place goes bankrupt because they rip people off read more

If Zero stars were available it would have been the score - but we had to choose one star unfortunately. Barry's was advertising a toyhauler - i wanted it and had about 9 grand to put down. I did have a BK lurking in the past but i pay my bills and even had a cosigner with a 700 credit score - the terms Barry's laid out for me were as follows - 16,000 down they wanted 10,000 on a credit card and another 6000 in cash - then 418 a month for 120 months - if you do the math i would have paid over 75,000 dollars for a 36,000 toyhauler.......also the communication was horrible the salesman contacted me several times after 11 pm at night via text - most of the the text was somewhat vulgar - racist - and full of the old fashioned favorite " GOD BLESS " statement - I would never recommend Barry's rv to anyone ! Wife and I went to Barry's ready to buy, asked if there was wiggle room on the price. Was told price was final, after going into the lobby to negotiate they did come off their price. Salesman seemed unmotivated, we were the only ones there, parents were out in the lobby with my daughter over an hour, and not once did the several salesman walking around tell them good morning, hello, how you doing... finally after my wife and I both agreed we did not get a good vibe from the place we still decided to purchase the TT if they would throw in a TV. Was told they would install if I bought the TV. I decided they weren't very interested in selling, so we went to Royal coach RV instead. Barry's let me walkout the door over a $200 TV when they could have made $31,000! By the way Royal Coach RV is awesome, everything went smooth and they threw in a TV,swivel mount, and install. read more

Unfortunately the RV we purchased lost a wheel cover on the drive home. These covers fit very tight so a tech must have not adequately secured it during their inspection. I contacted Barry's to see if they had one or a good source. Our salesperson and service manager responded right away that they would look into it, then I could get no further response from them. I ordered a cover ($60) and sent the invoice with a request for reimbursement to the finance manager with no response. I could accept not being reimbursed but simply being ignored is not good business practice. Also want to note that although a $500 dealer prep charge was incurred most of the tires were 10-15 lbs. low in air pressure. read more

We bought a Trailer last year from Greg Shelton after a year we decided we wanted something bigger walked on the lot and Greg walked up remembered our names and when we told him what we wanted he showed us what we were looking for. Told us the pros and cons of each one with no pressure or pushing us to a particular RV as a matter of fact he explained to us why the less expensive one would be the best for us. We bought exactly what we wanted. The best thing about Barry's is the staff from sales, service financing and Kyle who gave us a great walk thru twice since we are bad learners. The floor plan was just what we were looking for. They asked us for a few days to get it cleaned up. We returned there today and were very pleased as to how good it looked. My Husband and I went here to shop for our 1st trailer. Right away we were greeted by Mark and we explained what we were looking for. He was great to show us what was in our budget and what our truck can pull. We decided to go with a trailer that was actually marked Clearance.(Awesome right?!) We thought we got a really good deal for the year and what condition it was in. Doug was great with the financing part of it and we were very happy with our payment etc. THEN once we took it home the slide out wasn't working properly. We looked underneath the slide out only to find it had dry rot. This was something we were trying to avoid, that's why we stuck with a dealership and not private seller (Maybe thats why it was on Clearance??) Barry's wanted to make it right and had it fixed up in 3 weeks. Slide out works good, but the repairs were rushed and sloppy. Staples from the staple gun all over the floor, wood shavings, there were a few fuses laying around and a drill bit left as well. This was unexceptable as all trailers should be "Camping ready". Also the fact that I have a 21 month old who could clearly choke to death on all the loose items on the floor. We can't wait to use our trailer so that way we can get this bad taste out of our mouth (thats after we throughly detail it of course) Sorry Barry's, not going to refer anyone or purchase our next trailer with you, best of luck to you. read more
