Although it does take time to get your thyroid balanced, Melody has stuck with me through different levels of healing and metabolic stresses. I've been hypo now for 35 years and started with Melody about three years ago. Most recently, Melody tried to get under why my hair was still falling out when my labs looked good except for ferritin stores. I have grappled with hair loss in years previous, but it would go away when my thyroid balanced and now it's not, so I was really stumped. Melody's remedy was to send me to an oncologist who does iron infusions. After two infusions, I was overtopped but eventually came down within normal range, which shows that I can hang onto iron now, meaning my ferritin anemia was not permanent. Also GOOD LUCK getting a hold of anyone. No one answers the phone at the clinic (ever!) and you can receive a portal response 10 days later. Even with a super urgent medical question/concern that needs to be addressed asap. It's super irresponsible considering these meds they put you on do have some heavy side effects. Our initial visit was exactly what my wife and I needed - comprehensive explanation of my wife's condition, complete review of what would be done (including pictures and drawings!), answered all our concerns. We were not hurried through the process. And, the staff was very helpful and friendly. So far, so good. Then, came the surgery. Dr Kroeker came into the pre-op prep room and reviewed what would be done and any risks associated with the surgery. Including a chance for a condition called "hungry bone syndrome." The surgery was perfect and so was recovery. Only one overnight stay. And back home. The next day, my wife developed symptoms of hypocalcemia and Dr Kroeker immediately had us return to the hospital. My wife had hungry bone syndrome. The remedy is constant monitoring and IV calcium and other minerals. My wife's thyroid issue had depleted her bones and they were now sucking up all they found. For the next eight days, Dr Kroeker was in constant contact with the hospital. And, she visited my wife all the time. Throughout this condition and after my wife left the hospital, Dr Kroeker continued to stay in touch via phone, email and text. Today, 6 months or so later, my wife's incision isn't noticeable (unless you look hard). I can't be happier. And my wife is thankful for the care and attention by Dr Kroeker.

My employer recently changed insurance carriers and, as you can probably guess, the new carrier refused to cover one of my needed medications. Dr. Sunny and her assistant, Bianca, worked tirelessly to help me negotiate with my insurance company. After much back and forth over several weeks, they were able to get my medication covered for me! I'm so grateful for their hard work and perseverance...I had almost given up hope. I ended up going to my GP who ordered an ultrasound, that revealed two larger masses in my thyroid. I ended up having to have my thyroid removed due to chronic thyroiditis.
