I lost hope and I would sleep more than 12 hours a day plus naps during the day. My depression got so bad that I would tell my husband and kids not to include me in their weekend plans anymore. And I live that way for many years (I'm only 34)....until I met McCall. My TSH levels were at a 19! No wonder why I was suicidal and tired 24/7. I tried to control my Bipolar symptoms for years without success. I tried medication and therapy but nothing seemed to help. I was stuck. Now, a year later on Armour medication, I look forward to the future. I make plans for the future. My kids look happy since I'm always around cooking their favorite foods and we even planted a vegetable garden that has some weird shaped cucumbers growing. And I'm happy my husband didn't divorce me lol, he stayed with me even in this crazy rollercoaster. I'm so thankful for McCall. She listened to me even at my lowest point. She offered help and hope and that is something that not every doctor gives you. She cared and I was able to trust her and her judgement. Life is still hard. Some days are not perfect but I just look back at my progress and I do Thank God for finding McCall. She's amazing!

Have I got the place for you. After starting McCall's program in 8/22, I'm finally a human. I sleep better. Feel better. Look better. Am better for having met her. The cost may seem high to some but I would have paid double for this life changing care. And I mean CARE in the real sense of the word. Ignoring the textbook standard numbers and caring about my individual state of being. Do the consultation. Invest in the program. You won't be sorry!

From the moment I walked into Bluebonnet Diabetes & Endocrinology, I felt seen and respected--not rushed or reduced to numbers on a chart. Dr. Lalani took the time to truly listen to my health concerns and history. She asked thoughtful questions, reviewed my labs in detail, and created a personalized treatment plan that was both clear and manageable. What stood out most is how collaborative she is. Dr. Lalani explains complex medical issues in a way that's easy to understand, works seamlessly with my PCP, and doesn't make me feel judged--only supported. Whether we're adjusting medications, exploring lifestyle changes, or planning for long-term goals, she makes me feel like an active partner in my own care. Another plus: Dr. Lalani's appointments run on time and she even offers virtual visits, which is a huge help with my busy schedule. If you're struggling to get real answers or tired of feeling like just another case number, Dr. Lalani will be a breath of fresh air. She's not only a brilliant physician but a genuinely kind human being. Highly, highly recommended.

I've been seeing Melody Volz, NP since before she landed at Modern Thyroid Clinic. The clinic where…read moreI originally met her said she was a thyroid specialist and she really is. Although it does take time to get your thyroid balanced, Melody has stuck with me through different levels of healing and metabolic stresses. I've been hypo now for 35 years and started with Melody about three years ago. Most recently, Melody tried to get under why my hair was still falling out when my labs looked good except for ferritin stores. I have grappled with hair loss in years previous, but it would go away when my thyroid balanced and now it's not, so I was really stumped. Melody's remedy was to send me to an oncologist who does iron infusions. After two infusions, I was overtopped but eventually came down within normal range, which shows that I can hang onto iron now, meaning my ferritin anemia was not permanent. I have more energy now too, even with Covid everywhere. I prefer a doc who is less insulated from patients, one who allows email and telehealth meetings. Once you get set up where she is now, Melody is easy to access, quick to respond, and very much a real person after you get to know her. There's not a lot of ego here.

Health services in this country is such a sick money grab. So the doctors that take insurance are usually NOT holistic practitioners, but the ones that do TAKE insurance offer you prescription drugs. so sad for those who can't afford proper healthcare with and without insurance. I did not get treated at this based on their website and information . I am sure they have some fantastic staff members. But you can definitely enrich the main doctor by giving her $24,000 for the VIP services.

Our initial visit was exactly what my wife and I needed - comprehensive explanation of my wife's condition, complete review of what would be done (including pictures and drawings!), answered all our concerns. We were not hurried through the process. And, the staff was very helpful and friendly. So far, so good. Then, came the surgery. Dr Kroeker came into the pre-op prep room and reviewed what would be done and any risks associated with the surgery. Including a chance for a condition called "hungry bone syndrome." The surgery was perfect and so was recovery. Only one overnight stay. And back home. The next day, my wife developed symptoms of hypocalcemia and Dr Kroeker immediately had us return to the hospital. My wife had hungry bone syndrome. The remedy is constant monitoring and IV calcium and other minerals. My wife's thyroid issue had depleted her bones and they were now sucking up all they found. For the next eight days, Dr Kroeker was in constant contact with the hospital. And, she visited my wife all the time. Throughout this condition and after my wife left the hospital, Dr Kroeker continued to stay in touch via phone, email and text. Today, 6 months or so later, my wife's incision isn't noticeable (unless you look hard). I can't be happier. And my wife is thankful for the care and attention by Dr Kroeker.

My employer recently changed insurance carriers and, as you can probably guess, the new carrier refused to cover one of my needed medications. After much back and forth over several weeks, they were able to get my medication covered for me! I'm so grateful for their hard work and perseverance...I had almost given up hope. A couple of years ago I started having issues with my throat, hand tremors, my bone density went down, and I felt like a lump in my throat. I brought it up to Dr. Sunny, who dismissed me twice. I ended up going to my GP who ordered an ultrasound, that revealed two larger masses in my thyroid. I ended up having to have my thyroid removed due to chronic thyroiditis. It had gotten so bad that the gland had started destroying itself and was stuck to nerves and neck muscles. I might still have had my thyroid if Dr. Sunny had listened when I voiced my concerns. Good luck if you pick her as your endocrinologist.
