Happiness Nails Spa - What I wanted! - Nail Salons Near Me - Porterville, California

Within 3 days my toe nails started to chip and I have to cut them shorter. The lady filed them too thin that the gel polish added to the brittleness of the nail. read more

The pedicure lady made me feel so comfortable. She was knockkkin my feet like I had knots from 2005. Definitely recommend for a pedi/mani

They were rude the manager came to the middle of the salon and yelled at me cause I asked to soak for a minute. She did it in front of the whole salon. Then I asked for a full set. She asked what color i said red. She said dipping powder? I don't know I just wanted red. read more

I went on 8/27 /2025 to get my nails done but wasn't happy at all. The place is under new management it's not the same people working there. My look horrible it's thick as hell. I try to tell her it's not supposed to be thick bc the dipping powder she comes up with lame excuses. Well, I'm done going back it was a waste of time and my money. I even tipped 10$ for shitty work. Ppl don't waste their money at this place. I just have to wait for 2 weeks and hopefully find a place in Bakersfield that does it right. This is in Porterville. read more

My cousin and I got pedicures yesterday evening and the service honestly sucked. The water was extremely hot as soon as we dipped our feet, the guy burned my cousin with the hot towel & stones, and to top it off there were three roaches crawling from under my cousin's nail chair!! When I told the nail lady that there were roaches, she just swatted them away then one went near my shoe and she got my shoe to shake it off. She didn't bother to kill the roaches. There was also a fly bothering the nail guy so he swatted the fly with his hand, but did not remove his glove. What is most alarming to me is that they have a mini bar where they serve alcohol and coffee where they use a hand mixer. I can't imagine ordering a coffee and knowing that roaches probably live on those mixers since they are exposed on the countertop. The health department needs to be contacted immediately. This was completely unacceptable and I will be sure to tell my girls to never consider this place. It also annoyed me that I paid $160 for both pedicures where the treatment and service could have been better. I've paid less for a pedicure at other salons, where I receive more amenities and services. I didn't appreciate that. The complementary drinks are included in the payment, so I technically pay as much as someone who orders alcohol whereas we only ordered water. This place is a joke. read more

Staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere has been a calm each time I've come in for both pedicures and manicures. I hope this continues for any future clientele. read more

Great customer service! Very relaxing! My legs and feet feel wonderful!I will definitely use them again!

Went here for the first time to get a pedicure. I was greeted by staff when I walked in the door. Had a short wait, but that didn't bother me. Ethan who did my pedicure was very professional. He did a great job. Overall, I am happy with the service that was provided. I will be back when the time comes. read more

This place has gone downhill this past year. Service & cleanliness gets 0 stars. The mini bar was cool until you realized they have cock roaches crawling everywhere! I asked to soak off my acrylics because ripping them off was destroying my nail bed and hurt. My request not understood by the first nail tech due to the language barrier and was then ignored by the second tech. It seems like they now care about quantity over quality. You're just a quick $ never going back... read more

The appointment was easy and readily available. I was traveling and couldn't wait to get home for a repair. They did not have hybrid product so I had to remove my nails and get a manicure. The mani was nice and the pedicure was a thorough. My husband got abraded with an overzealous woman more concerned about what was going on around her. It's been a week and he's finally healed up. Overall it was not unexpected when traveling to have not the perfect service. I would go again but would make sure they are aware of any skin sensitivity. read more

I requested a pedicure, which was very nice. I chair was comfortable & the message feature worked. The young gentleman was polite & efficient. The shop looked clean..... until I spotted 2 roaches. yikes read more

Happiness Nails Spa - Full set with light pink acrylic color (don't remember the name I think it was #8) - Nail Salons Near Me - Porterville, California

This was the second time me going to this place, which was yesterday 06/15/22. the first time I had no problems whatsoever but this time I can say otherwise. I went in for a pedicure, I don't know the guys name that was doing my pedicure but he is tall with glasses. While he was scrubbing the bottom of my feet with the callus remover he moved is way up to the top of my foot and started burning. So I told him that it was hurting me so he stopped then I told him you cut my foot and he grabs a spray bottle that he had there and sprays my foot and made it burn even more. I told him that my foot was burning and he says sorry and starts patting it dry with a towel. My foot was burning the whole time he was doing my pedicure. He finishes up and checks me out with full bill of $75.00. I do not recommend this place whatsoever, I will never be going to this place again. read more

Other then this place being understaffed it is quite nice. I'm very picky with my nails and Eric did a good job. One is a little crooked and the other has tiny air bubbles from the gel but other then that their fine. I just got them done today 4/9 so I'll update later if anything changes. In regards to the lack of employees I understand they just opened but there are literally 4 or more nail salons within a 2 block radius willing to steal business. We walked in for our appt at 10am and there's been over $300+ in revenue being turned away. I'm giving 4 stars for now but will update later. read more

Happiness Nails Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Porterville, California

If i could give negative stars i would. When i walked in, i showed the guy helping what I wanted it was pretty simple. As i stated at the beginning to them, i knew the pic was a decal but i just wanted nail art. It was going to be a color change and fill. I got my pedicure. Then was sat at a table to wait for another 45 min. I show the girl the picture and she says no. Another guy came over and was stuck on the fact that they were decals in the picture. I was starting to get frustrated and all the nosey women in there were whispering. So i decided to just settle and told them ok ill just have those colors only no art. But noone in there speaks or understands English so the girl starts chopping my nails down like in the picture even though i had repeatedly specified i wanted them the same shape i walked in with. At this point all these nosey women were making me anxious. So i said just take them off now that they are ruined. I didnt want to sit around any longer i just wanted to leave. Then she proceeds to literally rip the nails off and cut me several times(which she acknowledged). I will NEVER go here again or recommend them to anyone. I did pay the $60 for the crap pedicure i got thats already chipped. It was pretty traumatizing for what was supposed to be a chill day getting my nails done. read more

Went in for a walk in to get a full set for my birthday. Was told the original idea I wanted (French tip with butterflies) was too difficult therefore I settled for a French tip. Expected a little bit of a wait being that I had no appointment. Was surprise to see I waited an hour before deciding to leave because I was seeing other people being help even if they came after as a walk in. read more

WOW... first time going there had great experience. Next time... my daughters polish had peeled completely off on on three nails within 2 days. Then day 3 her nail broke off. I had my nails on the same day and 4 of my nails had came off within the first week. They refused to repair or take accountability. Then, the third time going in had a 30 min wait, they brought my daughter back to start while I waited another 45 min. They then asked if I'd like my nails done and my daughter and I told them I'd been waiting over an hour. I told them I'd come back and as my daughter was finishing they asked my daughter if we were "paying together." My daughter told them that I didn't have anything done despite being there 2 plus hours waiting. Lastly, on that last experience that I didn't get seen, my daughter got a bacterial infection that she had gotten from the her fill, the gentlemen had used his fingernail to remove her broken fingernail and had broke skin!!! Once they were called they said just come in and we'll fix it... well you can't fix poor hygiene or an infection with a new set of nails. They REFUSE to take accountability!!! NEVER GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! read more

I came in for a pedicure and the place looks nice but let me tell you they do not clean there tools at all and they don't even switch out the sanding band on the drill and they don't change out there gloves either after clients there foot massages are the worst if you just want them to rub lotion this is the spot. would not come back again unless you want to catch something. read more

I really wanted to like this new salon, it's so pretty inside and clean. I was waiting no more than 10-15 min for a pedicure, until the nice guy who was doing someone's acrylic nails got me a chair and got my feet soaking. I didn't get the persons name who did my toes but he was wearing glasses and would limp when he walked. Fast forward to the end of my pedicure, he finishes polishing my toes and just gets up and leaves. I thought he went to get some lotion or something. I'm sitting there for 10 min on my phone waiting for him to come back and I look over and he's already working on another person! The lady workers on each side of me were just talking and laughing the whole time since he left. No one offered to finish the pedicure with a foot massage which I'm paying for, and comes with the basic pedicure. I finally figured he's done with me, he didn't even say anything to me just got up and left. So I went to the bathroom, paid and left. I won't be coming back to this salon! read more

I went in excited to try a new place and I was very disappointed. I went for a pedicure, the water was cold so I told them. Then he turned on the hot water and burned my foot, didn't let my feet soak in the STILL COLD water. Then as he was giving me the pedicure, he cut my foot from scrubbing too much. After I got out to the car, I noticed polish was all over the top of my foot. read more

cut on my thumb, middle finger, pinky and blood was seen my tech but she kept filling. nails r cute but shape is kinda uneven.

I can not say how frustrated I am about this place. Went with my family for a nice day out and the older man I had could not care less about my nails. Literally barely did any work on them, didn't give me a massage, and they are a complete mess. Going to go home and have to literally take these off. Not worth the money, do not go. read more

I've been here a couple of times. I love it !! Very Nice and Welcoming. I highly recommend this location queens ..

Well, thought it would be a lot better . Not so packed as other places . But my Pedicure and Manicure took nearly 3 hours and she brought me the wrong color I pick out . Also they all talk to each other not in English . So they are probably talking shit about people who go in there. I got gel polish and a week later they are peeling like old polish does . Very Disappointed. I won't go back . I do a better job and I've never had training have they ? read more

Poor business practice I had a full set pink & white ombré I was charged $65.00 for a full set. Upon checking out my debit card was charged for $75.00 I had included with a tip. Few days after my bank activity showed they charged my debit for $90. I went into place of business to address issue with store manager Eric. He stated he didn't have control what additional percentage his bank chooses to charge their customers using debit card. I stated he ran my card illegally without my permission, that it was only suppose to be charged based on the receipt he'd given me for $75.00. I requested he give me the cash for the difference to settle issue but he rudely wouldn't. So I had to file a report with the city officials and notified my bank for fraudulent activity. It wasn't until I took action a month later he decided to refund me the difference only bc he was sent a letter to settle dispute in court.
