The owner Jessica aka Cat was very fun to talk to along with the other ladies! I had my wax session with Alex. She did my Brazillian and legs really quickly and was very thorough she even took care of some pesky ingrowns. I've been waxing for a long time so generally it really dose not hurt, but it was painless. I will definitely recommending this place to any and every chic I know! This place is a gem out here in the valley that can rival any high end wax spa in the SF Bay Area (where I'm from). Definitely glad I found this place!!!

After I arrived, I checked in, signed a waiver paper and waited. I was kind of nervous because it was my first time, so I wasn't sure what type of pain to expect. They called me back after a few minutes and she got right into it. Pain level wasn't bad and before I knew it she was done. She only lasted a few minutes and gave me a mirror to look. There was literally so many hairs left you couldn't even tell I got waxed. I asked her if it was normal to have so many hairs and she tried to take off a little bit more. Sadly I still had to go home and pluck out about 30 hairs from each side. Pretty steep prices for me to pay some one and then go home and finish it myself. First and last time I go.

I feel this is not only an obligation on my part but it's courtesy and I don't mind. Although, after having done so. I later learned the appointment never got canceled. Which indicated the courtesy call was of no value, as well as being ignored and having to correct the schedule a second time. EWC Wax technicians are great and I always appreciate the professionalism. However, I feel the receptionist duty is an important factor in the process of continuing great customer service. Greetings should be genuine and professional at all times, which should include becoming efficient with information given/received to and from customers. There appears to be a lacking and should be addressed.

I want to make it very clear that if the service was prefect I wouldn't have mind paying $30 for it, I don't understand how employees are allowed to be on their phones while providing services. Literally going from touching my face to touching her disgusting cellphone to go back and forth from texting. No gloves nothing ! As if that wasn't bad enough the manager at the time her self was literally having a full on conversation with three other employees like if they're not working, while doing my brows. It gets worse as I received my ticket to pay I see they're charging me 29.99, keep in mind brows weren't drawn for a sharper look or anything nothing! Just wax and her eyeing it out. Whatever I get to the cashier which ends up being the manager herself she still has the audacity to ask me if I'd like to tip her ?!! Really a f***** tip?! I quickly said hell no. I find it ridiculous how they want to charge $30 only because they're at Ulta it's stupidly overpriced.

The last two Brazilians I had done, irritation and redness occurred right after and lasted for about 24-48 hours (which is normal according to Google). But I haven't experienced any of that and it's been about 10 hours since my wax. Not sure if there are unicorn tears in that wax or something but seriously...magical stuff right there.
