Looking for a nail salon since I'm new to the city ; I been seeing this salon & decided to give it…read morea chance for a pedicure. First let me start off with it does not look pleasing at all but I was trying not to judge . It was one older lady in the shop available to be honest I don't even know amid anyone else works here anymore the reviews are so old but anyone I come in for a pedicure when I really should of walked out ( I'm not that bold) . She is nice gets the spa going ; usually the spa has like blue color ima assuming some disinfectant or something in it; hers is just water ; gets to doing my toes . Now let's talk about what that consist of. All she does is clip toe nails does not clean up cuticle area at all , calluses removal my main part( pretty much nonexistent. Throw some stuff on my feet and use an old metal pedi scrubber( the one that look like a grater) . Then a small massage with oil and that's it paints your toes and I was out. Not great ; this just let me know that we may not like to pay for the price of mani and pedi these days but it's not just that we are paying for service and I overlooked how good service is important . She didn't say a word the whole time and I think she just outdated on how nails have advance . I should have took a pic of the nail color option swatches . I do nails so I just was regretting every minute being inside the shop because I knew this was not a good look or feel. Also one nail she kept trying to file the top I had to tell her it hurts . Over all it was 45$ and yes I still tipped because I felt bad :( It's also a dollar extra to pay with debit or credit card ***IN CASE YOU DONT HAVE TIME TO READ THE REVIEW MY ADVICE IS GO TO ANOTHER SHOP**

You were still able to see her nail through the nail and the French tip was done wrong and the paint started chipping fast and as for my thumb on my nail has a hole and has been painful the last couple of days and on top of that my nails weren't cleaned right I was still able to take all the dirty off my nail like if it was not cleaned at all. I'm really disappointed especially leaving a $20 tip as we left.

This place is a gem! Looking for last minute salon on NYE…read moreday (of course) that would be able to take me in. Called ahead told them I was 5 min away. Soon as I got there they sat me down and got started on my hands right away! Loved that they did my hands and then after sat me in spa to do my feet. I really dislike when they do both at once! I explained to him how length really matters to me and did not want long at all. He def understood the request. I am VERY satisfied with my nails. I am usually a very simple person not into design or stones really. Will def be returning!

I struggle with finding places places for when I get pedicures as I used to have ingrown toenails. So I am always cautious. This place didn't make me feel that way. The lady that did my pedicure was very courteous and did a very good job. The price was reasonable for the amount of time that was spent in the chair. Thank you Kim's fantasy nails for a very comfortable experience. I will definitely return for my future pedicures. Again thank you.

Overall, my experience was very uncomfortable, and unfortunately, I would not recommend this salon…read more The woman who worked on my toes was more considerate, and I do take responsibility for not clearly explaining that I wanted acrylic on my toes as well. I only said I wanted acrylics and didn't specify that I wanted them on my toes too, so I understand how that misunderstanding happened. However, when I brought it up, I immediately felt like both employees became annoyed. It wasn't my intention to be difficult--I was simply trying to explain what I wanted. After seeing their reaction, I felt uncomfortable speaking up for the rest of my appointment because I didn't want to seem like a bother. Throughout the service, they kept bringing up that different things would cost more. The cost was never the issue for me. I was willing to pay for the service I wanted. What made me uncomfortable was that it felt like they were more focused on the price than on listening to my concerns or making sure I was happy with the service. The man who worked on my nails was, in my opinion, unprofessional. I showed him an inspiration photo with soft, light pink flowers on the sides of the nails. Instead, he painted bright neon pink flowers that looked nothing like the reference photo. I had to ask him to make them lighter because I genuinely couldn't imagine leaving the salon with nails that looked like that. I understand that inspiration photos can't always be recreated exactly, but if he wasn't able to do that design, I wish he had simply told me. He could have explained that it wasn't something he was comfortable doing or asked another nail technician for help. One of the reasons I chose this salon was because I had seen very similar flower designs on their Instagram, so I believed it was something they were capable of doing. I also couldn't help but wonder if my age played a role in how I was treated. I felt like because I was younger and not very confident about speaking up, my concerns weren't taken seriously. Every time I tried to say something, I felt like I was inconveniencing them. There were multiple times during my appointment where I honestly felt like crying because I could tell they didn't want to work with me. I'm an emotional person, but more than anything, I felt unwelcome and like I was being judged for simply asking for the service I came in for. I wasn't trying to be difficult--I just wanted my nails and toes to look the way I had asked. I believe good customer service means listening to your client, communicating honestly if a design isn't possible, and making them feel comfortable throughout the appointment. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. Overall, I left feeling unheard, uncomfortable, and disappointed. I would not recommend this salon.

DO NOT RECOMMEND…read more Before my pedicure, I asked for no hot stones (sensitive skin, they burn me) and they acted annoyed about that, altho the actual pedicurist was very nice. While my pedicure was happening, my mom was getting own pedi a few seats down. I was visiting and we thought a daughter-mother nail day would be fun. Not at this place though we would soon learn. When the nail woman came over, I asked for a thin, gel-only acrylic set (no powder) which I do at my regular salon based on their suggestion to give my nails a break and bc they look more natural. That seemed to annoy the woman and she walked off after she started filing my nails, with no explanation and went to help someone else. After a 15-minute wait with no word from anyone, a second tech came over and made me re-explain everything from scratch, visibly irritated the whole time. Then she asked what shape and I said btwn coffin and square. Annoyed again she asked if I had a pic so I Googled nail shapes and showed her a pic of coffin and square and said btwn that please. She argued that my current nails were coffin. I said, OK, bc I was getting tired of explaining and feeling like I had to defend the shape I wanted. She seemed fine with that eventually & started my nails, but then said there was no one there who knew how to do gel with no powder & no one ever asks for that & it was a "special order." Then she walked off. A woman from the front came over to me and loudly, in front of other customers, said that no one could figure out what I wanted bc I wasn't happy with any nail shape. I was totally confused and embarrassed bc her voice was raised. By then my nails were filed with one acrylic tip glued on, but I was so uncomfortable with people staring at us over her raised voice, I said I would just go somewhere else. I'm visiting my mon again and we drove a little further to BB's Nails instead bc I will never go back to Lilah's. I can't say enough good things about BB Nails. They were gentle, patient, and kind, and they had no problem with a thin acrylic set and a coffin/square shape. And another woman in there mentioned her last place making her cry, and found out it was Lilah's! She said they were awful to her too. No idea why they are so unfriendly there, as if we all don't work hard for our $ & not only want to enjoy a nail day, but we also may have reasonable requests, and that should be OK. Lilah's was awful!
