I never leave reviews but I absolutely had to. Best experience I have ever had. I went to Beverly Hills to get my veneers done a few years ago and one of them broke. I could not go back in the near future and I was afraid not to find someone who could match the veneer perfectly. They did such an amazing job. I didn't catch the dentist name but i know she was expecting. From the time I walked in they made me feel like it was going to be ok. I cried for days with a broken front tooth. Dr. Hansen just completed a complicated 6 unit bridge of my upper teeth. The entire process was very pleasant and relaxing. After few dental visits, I am sporting a fantastic smile. My bridge felt so natural as if I was born with them. Dr. Hansen not only is a fantastic dentist who does miracles, he also takes time to listen to patient's concerns and resolve them effectively. In addition to his wonderful staff who are friendly and efficient, he is joined by his daughter, Dr. Elena. This remarkable father and daughter alliance makes this truly an exceptional cosmetic and general dental practice. Dr. Hansen also evaluate patients for dental appliances for those with mild to moderate sleep apnea, or for patients who are unable to tolerate CPAP. In conclusion, having Dr. Hansen as my dentist has been a life changer, and I highly recommend "Hansen Smiles" for all future dental care. read more

I just left Dr. Hansen's office after having my front teeth re-bonded. I can't stop smiling!!! Dr. Hansen did an AMAZING job. I would highly recommend him for any dental work, especially cosmetic. Thank you Dr. Hansen...you made a huge difference in my life. read more

John Hansen is in a league of his own in the cosmetic dentistry world. My wife & I both had our veneers done by Dr. Hansen 20+ years ago. In my wife's case, Dr. Hansen had to correct work previously done by another dentist. To this day, our veneers are beautiful. So when our adult daughter needed veneers, there was only one choice, Dr. John Hansen. Even though we reside in the San Diego area, we chose to send our daughter to northern California to have her veneer work performed by Dr. Hansen. The results for our daughter were life changing. Her smile is absolutely spectacular! I cannot provide enough praise or compliments for the work performed by Dr. Hansen. He is simply the best! read more

Dr. Hansen is quick, efficient, and to the point; while also having a good 'bedside' manner. Before Dr. Hansen and team, I was very hesitant to go back to a dentist as my previous one left me scarred. A couple colleagues encouraged me to see their dentist (Hansen) and the rest is history. Wonderful staff, and a great Dentist. read more

Dr. Hansen and his team are truly the best around. He is a super nice guy and a true professional. He is very knowledgeable, detailed and will make sure your teeth will turn out to perfection! I was amazed by the time and detail spent to perfect my teeth and the whole experience was above and beyond of what I expected. I had 2 crowns and 2 veneers done and they turned out so beautiful! Dr. Hansen, the staff, and the ceramist are all all-stars! read more

I've been going to Dr. Hansen for several years now. His staff is Professional, courteous, and friendly. His office is beautiful and well appointed and always clean. Dr. Hansen is extremely intelligent, friendly, and easy to talk to. His knowledge of cosmetic dentistry is amazing. He does what he said he will do, within the time. He says he will do it, and for the price that he said he would do it. Those are great qualities in anyone. I highly recommend Dr. Hansen for you. read more

I look forward going back to Dr. Hansen's office and enjoying his fun staff. I love that their office doesn't have the typical 'Dental office smell' when you enter. Amy will welcome you with her smile and the staff enjoys having a good time and making your appointment smooth. I remember receiving my first dental injection from Dr. Hansen and was surprised him using a specific method to make it pain free. I visited Dentists in Germany before and knew right away this office is unique and and well trained. If you expect a 5 star service with great techniques and customer service....you won't be disappointed. When Shelly cleans my teeth, I feel like visiting a friend and chatting over life while her fingers are doing a fantastic job cleaning my teeth..LOL. So glad my close friends feel the same and are patients of Dr. Hansen as well. Thanks to all of you doing an awesome JOB!!! read more

Dr. Hansen is absolutely amazing! He is very thorough and gentle. His team is very helpful and they always take great care of you.

Dr. Hansen, his associate, Dr. Thompson and their staff, Amy, Cynthia Michael, Shelly, and Stevie (forgive me if I misspell any of their names) are AWESOME and AMAZING!!!! I had my first appointment with Dr. Thompson this afternoon after going to another dentist for over 20 years and having my teeth cleaned by my beautiful wife, Roselyn who was the hygienist extraordinaire. She was the best, professional, knowledgeable, caring beautiful hygienist that I had ever known and all of her patients loved her so I was spoiled and finding another hygienist like my wife was very difficult, until we found Shelly. My first appointment was fantastic because the minute I walked into the office I felt very comfortable and the staff made me feel very welcomed today. My wife has been seeing Dr. Thompson and Shelly, the hygienist for several months now and she really likes Dr. Thompson and has always liked Shelly very much so she finally convinced me to try the new dentist so I did. Shelly was our dental hygienist for a long time at the other dentist before she left to go to work for Dr. Hansen so I was looking forward to seeing Shelly and getting my teeth cleaned by her again because she is an AWESOME hygienist. I was very impressed today by the GREAT customer service given to me by the entire staff including Dr. Thompson and I have to say that ALL of you ROCK!!!! Thank you, Thank you for being so AWESOME!! I appreciate you and on a scale of 1 to 10 I rate you "10++++!!" Thank you again Sincerely, Del Barbray read more

Dr. Hansen has a wonderful presence, with a kind and professional demeanor. The office is beautifully appointed. It's so pristine that one could eat off the floor. His staff was marvelously courteous, seemingly very well-trained, and notably efficient. In terms of quality service, what more could one ask for? I went to Dr. Hansen for eight veneers, all on the top. Back in the sixties I was kicked in the mouth playing football. After some root canals and tooth bleaching, I moved on with a pleasant smile. But bleaching only works so many times, and a last-hope Rembrandt restoration bombed. My teeth were straight, but colorful -- like a multi-hued cob of October corn. The results of Dr. Hansen's work looked terrific at first glance. But I soon noticed that the new teeth seemed bigger than what I carried around in my mouth for 48 years. Perhaps it was an optical illusion, but it wasn't. I asked the doctor about it and he replied "Well, you're a big guy so I decided to make your teeth bigger." Surprise! WHAT??!!! The doctor decided to change my smile and my appearance -- without consulting me, or asking me, or even suggesting going bigger. WTF. Why should his opinion about my looks FOREVER override my preference? To say I was unhappy is a big understatement. At least Dr. Hansen isn't a plastic surgeon. Imagine coming out of surgery with a face lift that was unexpected, or breasts bigger than wanted, or sporting a tiny, piglet nose. Geez. Don't say you haven't been warned. read more

If you are looking for a new dentist, you can stop looking. Dr. Hansen is absolutely amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable, very gentle, and I can tell that he really truly cares about my dental situation. He spent spent ample time talking with me and understanding my concerns. He even did an oral cancer screening and pointed out an area of concern for me to have checked out. After my exam, he outlined an immediate plan of action, which included him making phone calls to my current orthodontist to discuss modifications to my treatment. What amazing customer service! He is my new dentist for life, and I'm telling my friends and family about him as well. If I could give Dr. Hansen 6 stars, I would do so. Go here. You will not be disappointed. read more

Sadly, I have been to many dentists in my life. I had a bike accident when I was 12 and literally knocked out most of my front teeth. Since that time, I have had several dental visits to many different dentists up and down California and I can honestly say that John Hansen and his staff are *the* best. Without question they have been helpful, supportive, engaging, accommodating and wonderfully pleasant on every visit for every concern and question I have. Not only do they do the major dental work but just having a regular cleaning is a wonderful experience (yes... I said "wonderful experience" and "dental work" in the same breath.) Not to mention the amazing work that they do! Thanks again Dr. Hansen, Sarah, and Amy as well as all the other staff I have not had the pleasure to meet yet! read more

Greatest dentist I've been to and I've been to many over the years can't say enough about how good Dr Hansen is amazing. Never an issue with crowns fillings or cleanings everything fits and feels natural and lasts. I'd highly recommend him and his staff read more

Thank you Dr. Hansen, Amy, and the rest of the staff - After previously going to a recommended dentist, only to find out that he really didn't know what he was doing. The bridge he put in the lower front was so badly made that I was not able to bite down on things, and it changed my speech. A friend told me about her wonderful experience with Dr. Hansen, so I decided to go there for the next phase of my dental work. Dr. Hansen paid a lot of attention to my concerns and even corrected the work of the previous dentist. The entire experience was just great and I am very pleased with the results. read more

It is my absolute pleasure to share my opinion and experiences regarding Dr. John Hansen and his amazing staff. First, I must say I feared all dentists, from terrible experiences, all my life before my early 20's. I avoided them. Many years ago, I was very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. John Hansen - BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME! He has been my exclusive dentist since then. He is so talented, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring to his patients. He has a way to give you shots that really reduces any pain. He is always on the cutting edge with techniques, tools, and materials! I get excited when I have an appointment now! As well as treating my general needs, he also put in my Vaneers! He is an artist! When you walk into the office, you are saturated by the entire environment of the beautiful office and welcome greeting by name. There is water with fresh fruit in it and other refreshments. Amy welcomes you (or Michael- both are are great) and checks you in. It is a family environment and you feel part of that. Everyone who works there is tremendous. I want to name them all but I fear I will leave one out! Shelly does my cleaning and prep work on a regular basis and continues the professional knowlegeable theme. Everyone works together so well. Before being treated for Cancer, Dr. Hansen helped me prepare for the damage cancer can cause to your gums and teeth. It was important because during my cancer treatments, I could not do regular care. Fortunately, when my oncologist called me a "medical miracle" for surviving my rare stage 4 Cancer, I decided to treat myself to Vaneers. That was a life changing experience that allowed me to smile joyfully at my success. His artistry is well acknowledged. I love everything about going there and always look forward to my appointments. I highly recommend using the services provided. You can't do better than this! read more

Dr. Hansen does an amazing job! He truly is an artist and a great dentist. I had 18 teeth done by him, 6 crowns and 14 veneer, and they turned out absolutely gorgeous. He listened to what I exactly wanted very attentively and the result was above and beyond my expectations. His entire staff are very professional, and go beyond expectation to accommodate your needs. The office atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Dr. Hansen to anyone in a heartbeat! Dr. Hansen is the best! read more

If your looking for an artisan and a dentist who will go above and beyond to provide exceptional work look no further. Every little detail and much more is provided through every interaction. I consulted Dr. Hansen to repair extremely poor work done by another provider. I was nervous and devastated upon coming to Dr. Hansen. I am now a few months post procedure and his work is flawless. He truly cares about your goals and will do everything to make them a reality. He restored my smile and it looks amazing. Having the in house lab is truly the way to go, they are able to change and adjust things as your going through the process. I love this office so much that they are now my dentist for all over necessary dental work. I have also been referred to an amazing Endo and be and his staff were also exceptional. I've been multiple times and nothing changes as far as the quality and care of how they interact and provide amazing customer service. I've been meaning to write this for some time, I rarely review companies. They deserve every bit of it. Client for life !!! read more

Hansen Smiles - General Dentistry Near Me - Roseville, California

You will love Dr. Hansen and his incredible staff. They do excellent work and are so friendly and the office is super comfortable and luxurious. It is more like a spa than a dentists office. I appreciate that, because I was terribly afraid of the dentist my whole life and Dr. Hansen changed that for me with his gentle and professional care. I have been going to Dr. H for 17 years and he has given me the smile I always wanted. He uses state of the art equipment and all of the latest products, even the X-rays are instant. Comfort is a big value, and the neck pillow and sunglasses are a great touch during the cleanings. 5 star all the way!!! read more

Dr. Hansen and his staff have created the most professional and enjoyable environment in basically any industry I can think of, and having been away for ten years it seems to have only improved in that time. That to me is the most impressive part. It is hard to maintain let alone build upon an already stellar company culture. From this, everything else flows naturally, and they clearly employ the best care and practices in their work. I love going in for checkups and cleanings here, and will never go anywhere else. read more

I would like to say that Dr Hansen is the best Dentist. I was very nervous at first when I went to see Dr Hansen. This was due to previous bad experiences with other dentists. Amazing dentist. Amazing work. And absolutely pain free! Seriously. Really nice and professional staff, too.

Don't let the location and decor deceive you! Tried this office last spring after a poor experience with another local dentistry office. My experience was ok. My husband scheduled a cleaning after mine, and upon his arrival, was told that he was only there for a consult. After complaining, the dentist, Dr. Thompson, personally did the cleaning since that is what my husband was expecting to have done. After some pain issues, my husband returned and was told he would need a filling. He arrived on the day of the scheduled procedure, and again was told it was only for a consult. He had to take another day off of work to get the actual filling done. Poor communication in the office. I called prior to Christmas to reschedule my daughter's appointment and was told they could not get her in until April. At that time, I also confirmed my appointment for today, January 4, 2018, which had been scheduled for months. I showed up for my cleaning this morning and was told that I was not on the schedule, and that maybe my appointment was at Dr. Thompson's other office. I informed them that I had received a text confirmation for the appointment and had replied yes to confirm, as well as confirmed it verbally on the phone. They then looked at their calendar and said I was scheduled on January 28, which is a Sunday, and that my daughter was on February 15. Needless to say, I was very frustrated. I told them to take us off their books because I would be finding a new dentist since they apparently cannot get their act together. read more

Dr. Hansen was my dentist while I was growing up, and until now, having moved away from the area, I never knew how spoiled I was in his care! I recently tried out a dentist here in southern California and was appalled by the vast difference! There are so many shady, deceptive, butchers of teeth out there! Dr. Hansen never tried to scare me into any expensive procedures or pricey add-ons. He, nor his staff, never made me feel like my dental problems were all my fault, or ashamed of needing fillings. You ALWAYS see your dentist- he's not a ghost that never stops by when you're there for work from a dental hygienist. He is a strong presence in his office, and you will always feel like he legitimately cares about you and your health. I wish I lived close enough to continue seeing him as a patient!! read more

We moved to the area three years ago. A neighbor highly recommended their family's dentist, Dr John Hansen.
