Dr, Vardanian performed an implant on my tooth over a period of 1.5 years. Although he is friendly and efficient, he vastly misrepresented the cost of my implant procedure. I chose Dr Vardanian as my new dentist because he was on my selected dentist list provided by my insurance company. He promised a quote that was half the price given by my former dentist, so I decided to have him do the implant. After it was finally completed, it had cost $2,000 more had been quoted originally! And he remarked that the insurance company hadn't paid him anything back to give me (which he had promised about 5 times during the year and a half!) I wouldn't recommend him solely on this basis: I can't trust him. read more

Have been a patient with my spouse for years. They have really gone down hill. The dentist is no longer friendly, talks down to the employees (right in front of the patients), and suggests services that are entirely unnecessary. The front desk young woman started off as a dental assistance but had to take over the front. She is equally unfriendly and does not do the job to the best of her ability. Really too bad. They started off great but you can find many other dentists in the area that are much more warm, welcoming, and honest. read more

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. He is an absolute expert and uses the latest technology. He is very efficient and has outstanding skill. He and his staff are very professional and caring. One of the things I am always concerned about when it comes to dentists is cleanliness and infection control. No worse time to break a porcelain crown, in your smile line none the less, than on spring break. I called my regular dentist and doc was on vacation. Ugh!! Thank goodness my friend and coworker called around and found Dr. Vardanian for me. Katie got me in the very day to take care of my issue. Upon arriving at the office I was greeted and asked to take a seat while they finished up the patient they had in the chair. It wasn't too long before I was taken back and seated. After an exam and x-ray, Doc got started on my crown. His injections were virtually painless, his prep time (drilling) was quick and painless as well. They used a digital impression rather than the traditional goopy junk that has to sit in your mouth for 3 minutes. Thank GOD! My crown was made on site. Dr Vardanian even did some custom staining on my crown to make it look like it is natural. He has a fantastic eye for aesthetics. I had that puppy cemented in my mouth in no time flat! This crown feels better than any of my other crowns ever have! I was really impressed and pleased with Dr V and Katie and that is no small feat. I think I forgot to mention that I work in an orthodontic office and have worked in the dental field for 20+ years. It takes a lot to impress me! read more

Dr.Vardanian and his wonderful assistant are very nice and helpful. if you dread going to a dentist they are for you.Fast appointments friendly and listen to your questions and concerns. He saved me the pain of 2 root canals so far Knock on wood.They put a crown on for me and made it right there in the office while I was waiting same day! they did 4 fillings and totaly painless and easy. DR. Vardanian showed me everything going on with pictures and x rays right there on screen so there's no confusion. I am 40 something and all my years this has been my best dental experience and I'm not afraid of this dentist!!!! read more

Bad, bad, bad. Avoid this place at all costs. They don't have regular hours so it's difficult to get a hold of anyone during the day. I showed up for one of my scheduled appointments and no one was there, the office was closed! I called and the receptionist said she was "on her way". I had a question about some work the dentist was recommending after my appointment and when I called, everyone was on lunch and I was asked to call back later. When I called back, I got voicemail and I was unable to get a hold of anyone for the rest of the day. They recommend procedures you don't need (according to a 2nd opinion I obtained). The doctor has been late to every appointment by over 20 minutes and never remembers who I am. Once, he started doing an exam on my mouth and asked if he had seen me before. Then he had to stop and read the notes on my file and after that, he changed course and proceeded with a different procedure. Shouldn't you read the chart before you start working? He thought I was a new patient and was performing a new patient exam. I hope this place goes out of business! read more

Today was my first visit with Dr. Vardanian. Let me be honest when I say I literally put off going to the dentist way too long... Dr. Vardanian can vouch for that... Better dental benefits and a mouth ache meant I finally had no excuse to put my dentist visit off. Katie is warm and friendly and had my insurance plan ready when I arrived. After my exam Dr. Vardanian was straight to the point which I loved... I had 5 YES 5 cavities... I told you its been a while..... We got 3 of them taken care of today. There is something about him that just makes you feel like you are in good hands... no dentist has made me feel so assured and comfortable... All the dentists I have been to even the super luxury ones for my cleanings have never made me feel so safe/protected. Like I said I have always hated the dentist and now I finally found one that I can trust ect. I have a follow up appointment next week and look forward to finally coming to a dentist on a regular basis. read more

I have been going to Dr.Vardanian for 6 years and have received an array of services from basic cleaning to upcoming implant surgery.He is very knowledgeable and skilled and stays current with the latest dental technology. His staff is extremely personable and knowledgeable with assisting ,and also with handling insurance and financing. The office has almost a "spa like" feel that instantly puts me more at ease when I walk in. I read other reviews that had a problem with that, they must like to go to offices with an overcrowded, over lit, "carnivalesque" feel....well, not me. I have had to call the doctor on a holiday weekend due to a toothache and he promptly managed the pain and got me into the office asap. I have been seeing Dr. Vardanian regularly for well over a decade and recommended him to many of my friends. He is, by far, the most professional and compassionate dentist I have ever met. Dr. Vardanian holds himself to very high standards of care. Unlike most dentists, he books an exclusive appointment for each patient. This means that every patient receives Dr. Vardanian's full and undivided attention. In addition to being a dentist, Dr. Vardanian has hands-on dental-lab experience. I know his restorations are unusually accurate, because I had my mouth examined by a dental hygienist. She noticed Dr. Vardanian's work and asked who did this fantastic restoration. Dr. Vardanian is very honest in his billing and takes responsibility for his work. There were many times when he billed me a lot less than I expected, because he waived some of the charges. Dr. Vardanian is very personal in his approach and remembers every detail about his work. He actually remembers, in his head, the specific teeth numbers on which I have implants. On several occasions when I called him while in pain, Dr. Vardanian offered to see me outside office hours or even on a weekend. I have developed a strong emotional bond to Dr. Vardanian and I actually look forward to seeing him, as he is a kind, warm and generous person, dedicated to his craft and to healing. When I met Dr. V. Serveral years ago at a company health fair, i had not been to a dentist in well over 10 or 15 years because of poor experiences and the dentist was never very attentive to my concerns... I assumed all of them would be the same..... I had a long conversation with Dr. V and decided to pay him a visit...of course, after having neglected my dental care for so long, I needed some serious work and was very nervous about it... Dr. V took the time to explain exactly what the procedures would entail and how he would manage me through it with limited or no pain..... He is a true professional in what he does and I have complete trust in his skills and have taken much better care of my teeth since meeting him.... if you are considering a new dentist.... First thought I had when I walked in to an empty dark office with lights half off was 'I probably shouldn't be here' which was a pretty good gut feeling which I should have gone with. The first thing this dentist asks me is how long I've lived i the area, and WHERE do I live? (what difference does it make WHERE I live?!) I told him West Roseville and immediately felt like he was looking down his nose at me because his reply was "Oooh...the OLD part of town" I responded with "actually, no. That's a matter of opinion, I live in a newer area". Then his next question to me was to ask me if I was a state worker because my dental insurance was REEEEALLLY GOOD insurance. When I responded, "no", he said "So, how did you get THAT insurance then? Because it's REALLY good insurance and usually only state workers have this insurance, did you get it from your employer?"...In my opinion, his questions to me were inappropriate and I felt like I was being "sized-up" for what I'm worth. At the end of the exam, naturally, which I expected, he had an entire plan laid out in his mind for what I needed done to my teeth. I'm sure I'll have to pawn my first born to finance it. My opinion was there is one issue at hand that needs attention, an old filling that's become cracked that has signs of a small cavity by the side of the filling. Other than that, he wanted to replace several crowns because they didn't fit snug enough in his opinion against my gumline, do a deep cleaning and god only knows what else. They're going to email me a "treatment plan" and offered to provide me with a financing company prior to me walking out the door. I let him know, that I'm not rolling in the dough or independently wealthy because at this point, I felt like he saw my GOOOOD INSURANCE and wanted to use it to it's fullest extent and wring my bank account out of as much money as possible. Not happening. You offended me immediately and more than one time with your inappropriate questions as to WHERE I live, then insulted me all in less than 60 seconds. I don't trust your opinion whatsoever and quite honestly, I'm a pretty good judge of character, so no thanks, I won't be back and don't waste employee time by sending me your treatment plan. read more
