He showed me some options while another gentleman gave me a book to take home and told me to go online and try the flooring in my room online. I called on a Friday to inform them I would be off the following Saturday I was told to call Saturday morning and Bob would be able to help me. I called & Bob came over and took the measurements with no pre-appointment I was able to go back to the store and get some large sample boards and take them home and see how they looked in the lighting in my house awesome customer service by all the staff. Starting in August 24, 2023 Mike called me back with a price for the work I needed done. Him & his staff Sabrina & Bob were absolutely awesome. Fortunately & unfortunately for me when Sabrina & crew came by to lay the floor down my subflooring was rotted & when I asked about the kitchen I was told my dishwasher was placed under the subfloor & if the floor was put in & the dishwasher failed or needed to be replaced (which I was planning on) the floor, countertops & cabinets would have to be ripped out. Wait! What?! Dayum! Wasn't expecting that. Because of their honesty & integrity I later found out that The back room was improperly installed on a wooden deck that is rotting and sinking into the ground so now my back room has to be demolished and rebuilt! UGHH!! And to think all because I wanted a new floor. Soooooo! Now all these months later I'm still figuring out what needs to be remodeled & what actually can be remodeled. Not having fun yet. But I'm grateful for A-1 Carpets help with giving me a contractor's number & working with my crazy work schedule. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. 3-27-2022

We were n the market for new flooring. Starting with replacing our living room carpet…read more We shopped around to a few local flooring stores but weren't pleased with the selections, prices and most important, the sales people. When we walked into this store we met Joe who was very accommodating. He showed us some options but we noticed a remnant that was large enough to fit our living room. My wife fell in love with it and the deal was done. Mark came to measure and set the installation. Next we asked about hardwood flooring for upstairs. Time for a complete redo of the house. Mark took measurements and we began searching for more flooring. Again they were very easy to work with. No pressure at all, and several options to lower the cost. Well this morning was the install for the carpet. Two very nice and respectful young men show up and worked like a well oiled machine. Two hours later the furniture was moved, old carpet was out, and the new carpet was installed, and they replaced all the furniture. Next the looked at the pending job of the upstairs flooring. Again some good suggestions and what we thought would be a nightmare of a job, they assured us it would be another smooth install. Joe was very thorough with his estimate, and right of the bat, very cautious of keeping the home neat during the inspection process. When the work began he was in communication with me throughout the entire process. He uncovered several issues that were left over from the previous owner and remedied them with such better quality craftsmanship. I was so impressed with his attention to detail and respect for doing solid work. He had to work in my crawl space and even noticed that my dryer had never actually been connected to my outside vent, and he helped me fix that situation properly with much better materials. Joe will go out of his way to FaceTime you to show you what's going on with the work. His workers were also very careful, very thorough and very neat every step of the way. While initially the work anticipated was only to take about a week, due to the previous owners nightmarish construction work, their work was cut out for them. Joe and his team were still able to get an insane amount of work done in only two weeks time. I absolutely love how my floors came out! They feel much more sturdy, secure and safe. The crawlspace is properly protected now and fully insulated. A huge thanks to Joe and his team for doing such great work, and for making my home safer!!

Rich, the owner, came out personally to do the measurements and took the time to answer all of our questions. When it came to installation, Dylan and Louis were fantastic. They were professional, polite, and respectful of our home. They worked efficiently, kept everything clean, and made sure to answer any additional questions I had along the way. There are designer fabrics that are on sale for a big discount, which I really like. They have a nice outdoor fabric section, and up front there are $1/yard fabrics. I also got some really nice designer pillowcases for $5/set. The "Showroom" side has upholstery and designer fabrics and wallpapers in books and on the wall. They have pretty much every big designer name in there and it seems like they can do any type of window treatment or upholstery. They also have Hunter Douglas, with a ton of samples, which was really helpful to see in-person. Everyone who worked here was SO friendly to me. They really helped me find what I was looking for, and advised me on whether that fabric was right for that application, etc. I love this place and recommend it to all my friends!
