We have various types of blinds and curtains/ shears in our home that haven't been cleaned in a few years. After doing some research online, we found a company located on Long Island that sells and cleans all types of window treatments. We called to get information & were advised to email pics of the items we wanted cleaned along with their measurements. The owner called us back after reviewing our email and advised us it would be cheaper to buy new blinds and window treatments rather than have them cleaned. What a joke! We immediately continued our search for another company. Instant Verticals / The Blind Cleaning Company had excellent reviews online, so we called them immediately. Every single person we dealt with at this company was friendly & PROFESSIONAL. Adele & Heidi who took our calls & initiated our order explained the process to us. They were very efficient in calling back with updates when needed. Joseph came to our home to take measurements. He explained the cleaning process to us, serviced one set of blinds during his visit and also advised us that some blinds and curtains weren't dirty & to hold off on cleaning them. He was honest and forthright with what had to be done. Frank visited our home to remove the blinds & then again to re-install the blinds after they were cleaned. He was organized, quick and efficient. Both Joseph & Frank were respectful and professional. They wore face masks at all times & adhered to covid safety guidelines while in our home. Both reps provided a timeframe for their visit and were on time. We were amazed at how impeccable these blinds look now. The blinds are spotless, including the frame & rope. They look brand new! One set of blinds had a small hole in it and Joe cautioned us that it may get worse in the cleaning process & it didn't. We are extremely satisfied with the work & service this company provided. One of my Hunter Douglas shades broke and I needed it fixed quickly cuz it's in my bedroom facing the street. Got Instant Verticals' number from Hunter Douglas and set up an appt. for the next day with Adele, who was very pleasant and professional. Steve arrived right on time on a sleety day and fixed the shade quickly. Since the shade was still under warranty from HD I only paid for the service call, repair was gratis. Steve even showed us how to remove the shade ourselves should we want to take it in for service in future (to avoid service call charge). He took credit card payment without a problem on a secure device. Excellent! read more

I was disappointed with our ordered, but the company helped to fix the problem. We ordered faux wood blinds and blackout cellular blinds for our bedroom. The blinds for our house are great, except the knobs to rotate the blinds are off-white and did not match our white blinds. Michael came to our house and changed them all, so now they match. He even shortened the strings. They look 100 % better now. We ordered a blind for our closet upon their recommendation. After talking with a closet designer, they told us a blind is bad for a closet because it will let in light and cause our clothes to fade. They nicely removed the cost of that blind from our order. I purchased vertical blinds for all the windows in my house last year. and they still do not fit right. The panels bend towards the left or to the right and still have not straighten themselves out. The blinds and the manufacturer were replaced once and are still not straight. I should've returned all the window treatments and gone to another window design store. Home Depot probably would have done a better job. Guests comment on the blinds not being straight and it's embarrassing. I hate looking at them. For the THOUSANDS of DOLLARS I paid for these crappy vertical blinds, I should be a satisfied customer. I am not! The owner is very nice but nice doesn't help if the merchandise is sub-par. According to him, the manufacturer of the blinds said that the blinds are not straight because of the sun. Unreal! The sun is why blinds are put on windows. What crock! I WOULD NEVER AGAIN PURCHASE WINDOW TREATMENTS FROM this company. read more

Just had blinds installed over the weekend. Dealing with instant verticals was a pleasant experience. I first went to the showroom, they took time to go over every type of blind they sell. We also had their consultant come to our home to assist us in selecting blinds. I found this the most helpful, they will came in with samples and you get to see how it will look in your home. Once we had everything selected in the store, he set up a time to meet with us at our home. He brought all the samples so we could be sure we selected the right colors and fabrics. He measured everything. The man who installed our window treatments was FABULOUS. He was quick, clean, and careful. He was in and hour in just about an hour, even though he had plenty to install! We recently had blinds installed by Instant Verticals. The entire process was a pleasure. We stopped into their showroom in Farmingdale to get some ideas because we had no idea what we were looking for (we were replacing roller shades that were over twenty years old!) We finally narrowed it down to a couple of types we liked. We scheduled an appointment for someone to come to our house to measure our windows and to bring fabric samples. The salespeople are not pushy at all...everyone was pleasant to deal with. We decided on Graber honeycomb-type of blinds, which fit into our budget. I don't think I can say enough nice things about the shopping and installing process with Instant Verticals. For starters, my fiancé and I walked into the store as first time homeowners and we didn't know where to begin. We thought we knew what we wanted but it turns out we had no idea what to do and couldn't agree on anything. Mike came to our rescue - he is such a genuine person with all the knowledge and a true passion for what he does. He played out EVERY "what if" situation and weighed pros and cons that any young couple and/or first time home owners should consider. This ensured we, the customers, were satisfied in every way. Then came scheduling the delivery, payment process, etc. They were prompt and considerate. The ladies who called from the store, regarding your appointment(s), speak to you so respectfully I would say it can make one of your bad days good. Steve installed the blinds - he was kind, near and efficient. He even took time out to show me a few things with working and trouble shooting the blinds that he just installed. Although there was an issue with one of the blinds that were delivered to the store and needed to be repaired, they did everything they could to accommodate us for the inconvenience (providing a temporary paper shade)- Mike himself came to install the final shade once it was ready and looked around to make sure everything looked right. He is even ran through some trouble shooting steps for a second time with me. Although I would say my fiancé and I ended up having a simple transaction, when we went to the store I saw another sales associate sitting and discussing another transaction that was far more complex - we picked out what we wanted in our whole house, the other customer with still deciding on one room. But the sales associate sat with the customer patiently listening and recommending one idea to the next. Instant Verticals' whole business perspective is what is seriously slacking in many other money hungry stores and businesses. I highly recommend working with them... you will not be disappointed! We have had our verticals for ten years installed by Instant Verticals (never a problem)and our now changing our colors. We went back to Instant Vertical to change our current verticals to a different color. We looked at all the new products that have come out in the nice spacious showroom. We decided to change the slats and valances adding a skylight shade. The process was seamless. We called, measurements were taken and our new verticals were installed and look great.
