This is a follow up from my last review . A day after I posted my review I got a call from the store saying they have processed my refund , then after that got a call from the salesman saying that they have my part and if I wanted to keep the order that they'd take 25 percent off. I had not yet shopped elsewhere so I agreed. The installation went well and the blinds are look great. I'm pleased that they did the right thing in the end and I was able to get my blinds. read more

Great experience working with them. The salesman, Casey was a pleasure to work with and really helped simplify the overwhelming process this could be (especially for a new homeowner). I did get a quote from Instant Verticals and I felt their salesman was too pushy even down to the color! Casey was energetic and knowledgeable. He spent a lot of time working with me in picking the perfect blinds for me. He was very patient. He even came back a second time when I changed my mind on the color scheme. I did Hunter Douglas silhouettes in the living room and the Hunter Douglas Vertiglide in the dining room. I am in love with this purchase! The most honest company you will ever find. No one ripped me off on the repair or tried to talk me into a new blind. After it was repaired, it was installed to perfection by Joe. I've used the Blind Spot several times over the years and the selection, attention to detail, installation and customer service have always been excellent. They went out of their way trying to help me match a valance to my furniture in the room. I had a problem with a slat once and called them and they were over in ten minutes to fix it. The Blind Spot did a great job with our custom shades and blinds. Initially when we walked into the store they did not pay much attention to us (ignored us). Maybe they thought we looked young and weren't serious about making an investment...not sure. But after setting up an appointment, Casey came to our house and was so great! He was super friendly- he even played with the animals! In addition, he dealt with my horribly indecisive self:) He was patient and made great recommendations. Mike the installer who came to the house, was polite and worked super fast! They look BEAUTIFUL! And ps we had 11 windows done! It was quite an investment but the shades are energy efficient and they just make the house look better. Thank you Blind Spot. I am amending my review today which makes me sad. We spent over four THOUSAND dollars on these blinds (again, we had 11 windows done) almost 2 years ago. I called the company today because recently we had to take the shades down to have a window replaced in one room. Now the the shade was not snapping into place (on one side) when we tried to put it back up. I called to see if someone could drop by to help snap it back into place because we did not want to break anything. They said that if someone came out that they would have to charge $65!! So sad. Again- a young couple, have not even been in this house 2 years and we have to be money conscious. We said no thank you. It seriously would have been such an amazing gesture if someone could have stopped by quickly free of charge. Don't get me wrong, the shades are still great. But some offer of service (we have NEVER called about an issue prior to this one) would have gone a really long way. I am super disappointed. read more

Customer Service is so terrible! I bought three products over the summer and each one has broken - this is not The Blind Spot's fault but the manufacturer's but their customer service is dealing with the repairs is terrible. I actually told the woman I was speaking to that her customer service skills were lacking and that she didn't seem to care that she was losing a customer and she just outright ignored me. I bought products from them before this summer as well and the they were better then. Nothing comes in on time and you have to stay on top of them to get anything done. STAY AWAY! read more
