Let me start by saying that while Mia is young, she is amazing at what she does. I've been getting eye lash extensions for a few years now and been through several different technicians so I have an idea for what I like and what makes a great tech. I've been seeing Mia every couple weeks for a few months now, and I always leave with amazing lashes and refreshed from a nice nap. Mia is very gentle with me, which is really relaxing. I've had my lashes done by people who yank and tug so I appreciate how gentle Mia is. A compliment that I always get is that my lashes look so full and dramatic. This is what I want in eyelash extensions. I know there are places that do the more "natural" look but I want big, luscious lashes. A concern people always ask me about is irritation. I have pretty sensitive skin and eyes. I have a ton of allergies and definitely get affected by seasonal allergies. I have never had an allergic reaction with Mia or Hanna. Something to clarify to folks who are new to eyelash extensions: When you open your eyes after having them closed for an hour and fifteen minutes, they'll look a tiny bit pink, just like they would if you had just taken a nap. Of course if they look red that's something to be concerned with (and I've never had that reaction with Mia and Hanna) but a little pink is totally normal. Always clears up about 15 minutes later. People always ask me how long my lashes last. To answer this question, here's a background on my lifestyle. I don't wear makeup every day (occasionally on weekends). I'm very active: swim, surf, run all the time. For my commute every day, I usually run 2 miles to get to my office. All this is to say that my lashes get pretty sweaty and exposed to ocean water and chlorinated water. That being said, I get my lashes refilled every 2-3 weeks. After 3 weeks I REALLY need to get them filled and after 2 weeks they still look fine. 2.5 is where I aim to get them filled but sometimes it doesn't work for my schedule. I've attached photos to show what my lashes looked like from last time I got them done. I was about to leave for Puerto Rico for a week long surf trip (surfing every day for about 3 hours a day and of course running every day in hot humid weather). The second photo is two weeks later after the surf trip and running 10 miles. I live in the peninsula and work in the city but I make my way down to San Jose to make sure I can get my lashes done by people I trust and I absolutely trust Mia and Hanna to take care of me. read more

First of, I want to say that this is by far one of the best customer service I have had. I originally had a 1230pm appointment but was running late and Hanna was so understanding that she allowed to still go to my appointment 45 minutes late and was not charged for any late fees. My friend recommended me going to her instead and I will say that I have not regretted it.
