Pretty sure EVERYONE on the PLANET would have that expectation if they read the Walgreen's website. I read it FOUR TIMES... VERY CAREFULLY. It's now been 7 hours. Nothing. Tried calling the pharmacy... nobody answers the phones. This is completely unacceptable... and shows a significant LACK OF COMPASSION for people who are sick. Isn't that ironic? A pharmacy with a complete lack of regard for people's suffering. DON'T patronize this Walgreens. Go to Hudson. Maybe they'll care.

I was there shopping last night for pharmacy and store around 9 o'clock and I didn't know that they…read morewere closing at that time. But the lady at the drive-through waiting on me anyway it was very courteous and gracious. Then I went into the store not knowing that they were closing. I was offered assistance by a gracious lady who even bagged my items at the self check out while i finished the transaction. It was only after I overheard one of the workers mention this to another, that I called to find out their hours after I got out in my car. I found out that indeed they closed at 9 o'clock. I thought the lady was pretty fantastic and super friendly, also wishing me a Merry Christmas. Well done and thank you CVS!

Got my Covid and flu shots ! One on each arm. I thought I had made an online appointment with the…read moreWalgreens at 41 Holland Avenue in Albany but when we checked, I didn't get a confirmation email, so I was wrong. I wonder if I accidentally signed up with a different Walgreens branch by accident?Nevertheless, it was a relatively calm Monday morning and after realizing my error they were able to take me immediately as a walk-in. My phlebotomist was the nicest person. She led me to the separate vaccination room which is very clean and kept locked with a key code. I asked her if I could get one vaccine on each arm otherwise I'm not sure I could lift them later if they get sore. One of the shots is supposed to result in more aftermath discomfort than the other. I remember it as being the flu shot but she said most patients tell her it's the Covid shot that leaves them with a bit of soreness. I'm happy to report that 30 minutes after getting both of the vaccines, I don't feel a thing in either arm! Some medical experts like to put out public reminders like, "Flu before boo," to remind people to get their shots before Halloween when flu season starts. I do have health coverage but for those who don't, it's important to remember that flu shots are free for most people at pharmacies that offer vaccines, so please get protected! Thanks, Walgreens!

In the last year they have stopped carrying Once Again Organic Peanut Butter, Brown Cow Yogurt, Belgioiosi parmesean snacking cheeses. This is not only my local market, but the center of the community and it is becoming more and more challenging to shop here when I need to go elsewhere to get the brands I love. The replacements do not come close in quality. The other thing is that there is high turnover of staff. As the center of the community, consistency and relationships are critical.

Recently I picked up my prescription which has a co-pay listed as $60 and was charged $70, which I questioned. I called the plan, which agreed that was incorrect and called Nassau with the error, and I waited to hear. I didn't, so called today.
