First of all before I list out my displeasures, let me just start off by saying save your money & clothing and stay away from this place. There's way better dry cleaners out there with more competent and accommodating owners. If your clothing gets damaged, they will automatically deflect, not take responsibility, blame and accuse you for trying to get over on them. I've used this joke of a place plenty of times before because it's convenient for me since I live down the street even though they do a half decent job. I brought in a brand new beige Kith sweater that I've worn no more than 3x because it had some stains on it from eating at a restaurant. They were only able to remove half the stains which I'm not even mad about but when I got home and inspected the sweater, there was a very noticeable tear on the left chest area that was clearly patched up. When I dropped the sweater off a few days prior, the lady inspected it thoroughly and didn't mention of any defects, only the stains. I go back the next morning to show that my BRAND NEW SWEATER that's never been dry cleaned before nor put in the washer had a tear that was clearly patched. The co-owner old man that does the sewing automatically deflect and start accusing me of knowing the defect was there or that it happened somewhere else. I'm someone that wears vintage clothing and aware of all imperfections on my clothing. I take care of every piece of garment that I have and I'm very anal when it comes to everything I own. I would know if my clothes had any holes or tears on it and WOULD NEVER blame anyone for something that I knew was already there. But this is a different story. How could I have a brand new perfect $200 sweater with a noticeable defect and be ok with that? The unprofessional owner man GETS IN MY FACE and starts screaming telling me to get out of his store and his exact words "don't come in here this early and start this bullsh*t"...I mean what type of business owner talks to an unhappy repeat customer like that? They didn't even try to resolve the issue. He went from saying that it didn't happen there to I knew the defect was there to I bought the sweater like that from the store to it must've happened in another dry cleaners even though it's never been dry cleaned before and why would I bring it to another dry cleaner that's further out when I live down the street? The lady went on to say that they don't have that color thread when the thread used to patch up the holes were clearly white. Like HUHHHH?!?! Make it make sense. I ended up leaving in a rage and was so furious that a business is owned by these type of people. The very least you can do is apologize and try to make the customer happy. But no, the man running the place is a hot head and would never take responsibility as if the business he's running is perfect and mistakes can never happen. I would never bring any business to this place nor recommend it to anyone I know in the neighborhood cause this is not right. Please stay away from this incompetent business and very very unprofessional owners. read more

Used their services without a problem in the past. However, they changed their soap and now my shirts smell like perfume. 10 shirts that I have to re-launder. When I asked them to fix the problem they pretended not to understand English. So much for customer service. read more

when I brought a garment to this organic cleaner I asked the staff whether there would be any fragrance, no matter how subtle, to my garment as the result of the cleaning process. I was assured there would be no scent whatsoever. I told the lady that I have serious fragrance allergies and she again assured me there would be no smell. Today. i picked up my garment. It has a definite fragrance, mild, but enough to make the garment unwearable for me. I am suffering from a migraine headache as I am writing this, just from sniffing the top a few times. The lady in the cleaners told me she smelled nothing but offered to take it and clean it again. Since it was their cleaning process that had resulted in the smell in the first place. the offer was nice but useless. The organic cleaner I used in Westchester is unfortunately no longer open and I have no choice but to give away a piece of clothing that is one of a kind and not replaceable. read more

New owners took over this store from the wonderful Diane just before the pandemic. Prices went up, but it was a convenience to drop off clothes there. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what I was paying for. I dropped off five men's suits for organic dry-cleaning. A couple of weeks later, when I removed one of the suits from the hangar and plastic wrapping, I see some kind of stains on the lapel and arm. I returned with all five suits -- none of them worn since the dry-cleaning a couple of weeks earlier -- to show the owners. The gentleman immediately said that it was not their responsibility while the woman, after protests on my part, offered to clean the single suit again. If they couldn't get it right the first time, I didn't trust them to do it again -- especially since there were five suits, and I was doubtul that any had been cleaned. I'm now trying out a new dry-cleaner on Mosholu, hopefully with better results. read more

I trusted her to dry clean my expensive coat and she ruined it. It looked like she threw my puffer coat in a high-speed washing machine -- the metal logo on the upper part of the sleeve apparently has a circular metal back that was below the surface fabric. See photo. After she cleaned my coat, I could see the shape of the whole circular base of the logo where it eroded the fabric in a complete circle, which then quickly tore and feathers are always coming out of the torn fabric. It's very sad, not only because I LOVED this coat more than any coat I've ever owned (and it was by far the most expensive coat I ever wore), but also because I have tried for months to replace it and nothing compares to it in style, fit and quality. If you just need work shirts cleaned and want it done organically, you're probably fine, but I wouldn't recommend bringing non-durable clothes there that couldn't handle a washing machine or dryer. read more

I have to admit I'm biased because the woman who owns or runs the place is SO sweet. She remembers me and always waves on the street or as I walk by, even if I haven't been in there for months. Her smile cheers me up every time. These cleaners are not the cheapest, but they're also not the most expensive and I've always had great results from her. My clothes don't have that weird "drycleaning" smell, either! Additionally, she has treated my stuff with the care I'd use on my own. If I drop something off and she thinks the dry cleaning might hurt the fabric, she won't do it and will recommend another options. As a caveat, I have to warn some folks - she does keep her dog with her some days. It's not a shedding kind of dog, but still, if you're allergic to dogs, check it out 1st. read more

There was no one at the front to get my clothes, and no-one came for quite a while, even after I rang the bell. Also, the minimum to use a credit Or Debit card is $25- higher than I've seen anywhere else, ever. Also the prices weren't great, even taking most of the week to do the cleaning (not a rush job- dropped off Monday early morning, was told it would be done Thursday after 5pm). The place is pretty, but not worth the trouble. read more
