These people have TERRIBLE Customer Relations and Service. You can hardly ever get an individual on the phone, all I've ever spoken with is the answering service. I have left numerous messages for them to return my call and it's to no avail. I eventually have to drive over there [35 miles] to talk with someone which usually ends up with "a Song & Dance"! I can't speak to Hangar Clinic or their customer service but I can say that Rachel Olivares, who dealt with my feet issues was nothing more than outstanding. Very down to earth and you can tell that she truly cares about her patients. She spends the extra time and makes sure that you are properly versed in continuing care. I didn't get feeling that she was trying to usher me in and out of her office as fast as she could and based on my recent Dr visits thru my own health care provider, this was a refreshing change. Back in November, my doctor wanted an adjustment on the right foot diabetic shoe insert. After 2 months, the inserts were finally ready for pick up. When I got home, I noticed that the inserts that were to be adjusted were for the right foot. So yes, I have 6 inserts all for the right foot!! To make matters worse, I had to schedule an appointment to get them corrected. Hmm, their mistake and I have to wait?!?! I DO NOT WISH TO USE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!!! read more

Zero stars to them your not a patient hell you're not even a customer you're just an insurance bill number!!! I I am a very active amputee I was up in the Victorville area and the strap on my below knee prosthetic broke called them up they're open and see if there's anyway I could come in I'll pay cash no worries I just need to have a strap made? No way too much liability for them to make a strap for someone who's not anywhere close to home and just needs a strap I'd rather you walk around on crutches you don't have their insurance and a prescription you're out I strongly recommend if you have any choice go anywhere else! read more

Oh, my goodness! I love my new leg brace! Thank you so much to Hanger Clinic, for what they've done. It is the best leg brace they've ever made for me. It fits me perfectly! Joe said he could make the same leg brace like the old one that I have worn for over 15 years. I tried other Orthopedics, and their braces could never fit me. I was so in pain, I kept wearing my old leg brace. Joe said he could not guarantee that it will match my old leg brace, at a 100%, but match it as close to 85%. It took them about two months to make. When I tried them on today, it fits exactly like my old brace. I cannot believe it! In fact, the new brace, almost matched my old one perfectly! I Love It! I Love It! I Love It!. I'm taking my mom in and I'm terrified just by reading the reviews in here. Making the appointment the woman was so rude it took everything in me to not insult her and hang up on her, and I'm very patient in general. I had to call to change the appointment because she was sick and the same woman answer, OMG I can't wait to come face to face with her. She must be the most miserable human being walking this earth. This is not a company that mailed wrong size diabetics shoes, I assumed it was someone else's order,. So how do I wear size 13 when i have size 14d on my feet? Was doing cancer care for months of no walking so unable to go and pickup my shoes, said just mail it to me and that was done. Got wrong pair wrong size a simple mistake. 1) unable to get them to answer phone calls, unacceptable. 2) called doctor who he and his staff cannot reach this company they sent me to. 3) Now cold weather is here and no shoes, the ones and have gotten from va are cloth not leather exposing me to élimants of Mother Nature. 4) so va moved to newer building that no longer offers many benefits that the old location did. Why must any of us disable persons be treated , sorry mistreated by people who cannot read, answer phones and accomplish simple business basics? No excavations to medicare to file a claim about NO services and improper order that was delivered so it gets one star, but no more, hey disability lives matters, and since the folks get a paycheck and some of us do not is upsetting to get no services. So now I will let the strong arm of medicare do its job of whatever they do. Thank you folks for outstanding reviews I have seen here. Here is and ideal let us all have a membership handicapped wallet size plastic card, why you may ask do that, well in parking we do or have blue license plates, to Move to front doors parking, entrances of business, maybe under this blue card we can accelerate our lives to urgently matter, or we can all be nude and painted blue, naw forget that, nobody would sell us the paint. Zero would be more appropriate. I have had two prosthesis made by Hanger. The first was a good fit and fairly reliable. I'm a very active amputee so reliability is very important. Whenever there was an issue, it was very hard for them to accommodate my schedule or even answer the phone. They seam to always be at lunch or on the phone. The second leg was and is horrible. It was poorly made, communication was only initiated by me, deadlines were never met, and was treated like the ass hole when I called asking what was the status. They lost a foot that was being replaced for warranty. Who does that? This current leg has broken at least 4 times causing me to take time off work due to the shoddy workmanship. I would NEVER recommend Hanger to ANYONE. They are a joke and a disgrace to the medical community. read more

I have not even made it to my appointment yet, but I don't want to go. The receptionist called me and I scheduled an appointment. I asked her if she could send me that information in an email as I was not able to write it down at the time. She said they could not. I asked if they provide me a reminder call about my appointment, and she said yes. To this day, I have not received any reminder call and she become flustered with my requests, and my lack of understanding about the name of the clinic. Very poor customer service, unlike the quality service I expect from a professional clinic. read more

How are these people even in business? They are so incompetent it's unbelievable. I have been withour shoes for 2 years due to many surgeries and amputations. My doctor at Kaiser ordered "custom shoes and inserts". I saw the order on the computer at Kaiser. When I went in the guy who helped me wouldn't even get a job at McDonalds he was that bad. First he said that the order was put in wrong, then he tried to tell me that he would have to put me in 2 size 9 shoes when one of my feet in a 9 and the other is a 5. I told him that I would fall, it's like wearing clown shoes. He said that I didn't want custom shoes, that they were "ugly" and I wouldn't be happy with them. He said he could put stuffing at the end of the shoe so my foot didn't slide around and I said "They would still be a size 9 shoe on a size 5 foot. My doctor said she is fed up with them (and Johnson's) and is sending me to a place that doesn't have the bad reviews like Hanger and Johnson. Well see. . read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. My family has been with Hanger Redlands for over a year and they have been the worst care-providers of any type we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Their lack of follow-through and extremely poor communication skills are the primary reasons I would recommend going elsewhere. In all the times I have been lied to, Hanger has never acknowledged their mistakes or wrong-doings. They simply cover their lies with more lies and delays. As an individual who relies on a prosthetic leg for walking, Hanger has interfered with my quality of life by creating delays of 4+ months in creating a new prosthetic for me, of not providing socks when needed, of not communicating with me in an efficient and individualized manner, and of not returning critical equipment for the proper functioning of my prosthetic in a timely manner (my liner). All they would have to do is be more open with communication and acknowledge their mistakes when made. Today was the last straw for myself and my family with Hanger Redlands. I have reported them to my insurance company and will go to another provider, any other provider, so long as I never have to deal with the dishonesty, delays, and disrespect of this Hanger clinic. read more

I agree with Alexandria this is the worse place EVER!! I was fitted for orthotic inserts for my shoes and was told that they would be ready in 2-3 weeks and I would get a call. Well here it is 6 weeks later and I still dont have my inserts nor do I have any answers! I have made numerous phone calls and when I can actually reach someone Im told that someone will call me back. They never have. This week after trying for over 30 minutes to get anyone to answer the phone I gave up and drove to the office. I stood at the reception window for about 5 minutes seeing no one. Finally I was stuck my head in the window and saw 1 person working. She noticed me and without a word turned back to her computer. After another 10 minutes of waiting I stuck my head in the window and asked the same girl if there was someone who could help me. She said to sign in and someone would be "right with me". Well another 10 mnutes passed and the only person I saw was one of the Drs. poke his head out into the waiting room to watch TV. He saw us sitting there waiting and without a word when back into the office. At 20 minutes of waiting staff members began coming in from outside and I realized they were all returning from break. I waited another 5 minutes before going back up and asking for help. After looking up my chart (and needing the help of another staff for this) I was told that the computer didnt show any progress but that my inserts might be in but in a back office. Unfortunately the right person was not in to answer my question. But they assured me that I would recieve a follow up phone call the next morning. Surprise surprise that phone call never came. If I could give negitive stars in this review I would. Poor customer service, horrible communication, inability to contact by phone all lead to the conclusion of an extremely poorly staffed office with even worse caring and consideration. My son relies on orthotics for mobility because of a birth defect he was born with. I was referred here to have new ones made for him. I was nervous going in because I saw all of the bad reviews, but I figured nobody ever reviews when they have positive experiences. Well, let me say, that after my experiences with them, I wish I had believed the negative reviews and sought services elsewhere. The orthotist was totally incompetent in the basics of ensuring the proper alignment of the orthotics. He tried blaming his incompetence on my son and then added heals to the AFOs saying that would fix the problem. When I told him that wasn't acceptable and showed him the alignment problem in how he had them made, he said he'd have them remade, but didn't want to recast my son's feet in the proper functional position because he didn't think he needed to. Ensuring a proper functional position of my son's feet is of paramount importance in creating orthotics that can function properly. On a positive note, the orthotist tried hard to be fun for my young boy, though the fun was ruined due to the frustration and anger my son experienced at not getting the braces he's been waiting so long for. They lied to us about delivery dates, tried to blame the delays on insurance delays, but insurance approved the request in 1-week. The other months of delays was caused by them. read more
