I just called and cancelled a second time in a row. Part because I'm dealing with my autoimmune flare ups and not feeling well enough but mostly because I do not want my personal issue broadcasted to other people. I would like a different therapist at a different location who can respect my need for privacy and not humiliate me in front of people in the waiting room and talking loudly about my condition while we were in the room. He was extremely professional, pleasant, patient and caring. His initial evaluation of my condition was meticulous. He explained each process to me in a simple and in a rationale manner. As a result, I was able to comprehend why certain things were done. I am currently a very happy person, symptomless and well versed in how to deal with my vertigo if it returns. It took repeated treatments over many months to get rid of, so out of consideration and not wanting to infect others I was not able to schedule my second surgery. Finally I was able to schedule it and right before the surgery my daughter suddenly passed away from cancer. I canceled the surgery and would have rescheduled it. I think your child dying is a reason to temporarily cancel scheduled surgery for a cataract. But this Dr. Benz called me screaming at me that I canceled the surgery, never asked me why and told me not to come back that he was sick of me. Thank you Dr. BENZ and Eyes of York for your brutality, lack of decency, I guess greed comes before even the death of your child. I guess I should have gone down with the C-diff and infected everyone. What a monster.
