About 4 months ago things started to change. He was no longer reliable, truthful, or dependable. I discovered that he was lying about cutting different properties and was always filled with hundreds of excuses. Meanwhile, he then tells me he got a big mowing job at the VA. Well, I am happy for him, but you don't just kick your good customers that pay within an hour of the property being completed to the curb. His communication skills are totally absent, and you constantly have to run after him. When he starts making excuses, you need to cut him loose. There are many lawn care people out there that are dying for the jobs and the work. Find one of them and give them your business. Dwayne doesn't care. This is a photo of yesterday 6/18/26 in Monticello, a historical district in San Antonio. This is the current condition of how he has just walked away with no communication and the condition he has left my property in. The backyard looks the same. Thank you for the option to choose. The expert, Roger, that came by did an amazing job communicating what needed to be done and knew what steps to follow. When the second expert, Roger, came by, everything was quick, simple, and straightforward. I have yet to have everything completed yet, but so far it's been a great experience all things considered. Oh and I love that they send me a text of who I should be expecting and that they're on the way. Great touch. 10/10.

First, he said he could mow my yard and then the day we scheduled, he said he couldn't get here,…read moreknowing that I needed it mowed before the next day when company was expected. Then he called back and said he could do it, but it would cost much more than he thought because the grass was higher and the yard was bigger than he had estimated. Ultimately, I ended up paying twice as much as we originally agreed to get it mowed by him, and he did not do a great job. He had his young children helping him. He, personally, was nice. His tactics were unappreciated, his work was shoddy, and I felt that he took advantage of me. :/

So if I had done a review on the first install it 100% would have been 1 star. Apparently I had…read morereceived defective carpet, so it would pull out easily and also the carpet had a pattern stain that you could clearly see once vacuumed. It also had several gaps where the seams met. The installers assured me this was normal and that the seams would fade. I was shocked considering the price we paid for the carpet. Also, I asked a few experts in the area and they also agreed this was not correct at all. Well two weeks later and it honestly looked worse. So I called them back. They "fixed" the seams they said and left. I didn't have a chance to look before they left as I was on a work call. I checked shortly after and same deal. I ended up calling my project manager at Sunn and she came right out to check. Well lo and behold, she immediately could tell something was wrong even though the installers assured me twice that everything was ship shape. She had me send over a piece of the carpet to get tested by the vendor. That ended up being about a one month waiting period. The vendor got back to me and agreed that the carpet was defective and offered a full replacement at zero charge. They were extremely compassionate and empathetic, so it made me feel much better since the installers made me feel like I was going nuts. So we got the second install done on the carpet and it is MUCH better. There are still issues at a couple seams, so I am not 100% thrilled. But it did take care of the major issues we had. To be honest, I was pretty surprised the whole time that the GM or owner of Sunn carpet didn't follow up on this at all. The only thing that saved them from a one star review was their project manager to be honest. So I am so appreciative of her help in all of this. But I do think that better quality control would help this company a lot. Also, a follow-up after install to ensure customer satisfaction should be standard. But it is what it is. I would be a bit hesitant to use them for my next fooring project given the circumstances. But at least it wasn't left in the state of the first install. DM me if you would like the first or second install pics. If I posted the first install pics here I think it would severely hurt this business, so I refrained from that.
