I had questions about how to get things done and they more than answered all of them. I had questions about what finishings would go with what and I got great advice on that too. We kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt even after a grossly overcharged visit but most recently, their techs forgot to reconnect our water heater upon leaving (they brought the wrong parts and couldn't fix the problem) so we were stuck over the weekend with no hot water and no response. There are too many plumbing companies in our area to continue to use one that just can't seem to provide quality service at a decent price and NOT leave you in the lurch. We are done with A Tech.

We paid more than $58,000 to replace the plumbing in our duplex in 2022. The bid said, "This bid…read moreincludes installing all new drain piping for both units and connecting it to the existing main sewer line.... Includes replacing the plumbing in (3) bathrooms, (1) kitchen sink and (1) washer, as needed." Three years after the work was done, we found out that the copper drainline from the sink of one of the bathrooms had fallen out of the cast-iron wet vent and was dumping water between the walls. This section of the house was built in 1949, so this was not a surprise. Atech was very quick to send out a crew and even quicker to say that because the leak involved an air vent, it was not their responsibility. By their logic, the drain line from this bathroom was not included in the work to replace the drain lines from the bathrooms because it was also a vent pipe. What hurt was that we paid a premium because we needed a plumber who would help us with an old house and avoid these kinds of issues. We are not construction experts. We trusted Atech. We were left with a precarious system that predictably failed. Then we were treated to a weekend of silence and an explanation that the bid was really just for the plumbing under the house. (There was no mention of this in the bid.) Worst of all, the plumbers cut multiple holes into that same wall to replace the supply lines to the sink in 2022. It could have been and was an easy fix. But not by Atech. Atech does great work and charges a premium. But don't fool yourself, like we did, and think that means they will take care of you.

I highly recommend Joe Higginbotham at Capco Inc. Two of my neighbors had their roofs replaced by…read moreCapco, and they suggested I call him when my son bought his first house. There were several inspection issues that needed to be addressed. Joe himself answered the company phone number, he came right out with a couple of guys to give us an estimate, and he fit us into his schedule right away. He doesn't use salesmen; he looks at your project and gives you the estimate himself. His quote was very reasonable. He replaced over 100 feet of rotten fascia wood and all the gutters on my son's house. He painted the new wood, added more downspouts, installed new gutters and even painted the downspouts to match the blue siding of the house. I don't even know how he matched the color! In addition to the gutters, he created a new chimney cap that went OVER the siding up the chimney, instead of under, which prevents water from seeping behind the siding and causing rot. He also painted all the thru-roof flashings. We couldn't have been more impressed with the end result. In short, Joe is a good man who does really good work. Capco has an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, they have been in business for 42 years as of 2025, and they do so much more than roofs and gutters. If you need work done on your home, give Joe a call and include Capco in your list of estimates. I believe you will be glad you did. Best wishes to you.

Was a big mistake! As the plumbers arrived, I told them that I've already tried to reset the pilot a few times so the gas valve may need replacement. The plumbers who showed up had NO EXPERIENCE WITH BRANDON WHITE WATER HEATERS. They spent 15 mins reading the instructions on how to reset the pilot, which took me (a non-professional) 5 mins looking at a YouTube video (thanks YouTube!). Then they decided to drain the water for some reason that took another 30 mins. At this point, I had to ask them why aren't they able to diagnose what the problem is? Guess what their recommendation was - YOU NEED A NEW WATER HEATER which will cost you $3,200. They charged me $230 ($65 trip fee + $165 hourly fee) to tell me I need a new water heater!! He had a friendly personality, arrived on time and did most of the work in the rain. When I was putting my items in the finished shed, I noticed extra pieces amongst the paper trash. They turned out to be connectors that should have been installed. In addition the doors wouldn't close properly. I contacted Alfredo and he came out to install the connectors and fix the doors. Later I realized that he had inserted a folded piece of cardboard under a corner of the shed to level it so the doors would close. He did not mention this to me or make any arrangements to fix the leveling issue that I had paid him for. He was defensive when I contacted him about it, but finally agreed to come out and fix it if I emptied out the shed. I knew that this would take some time to arrange as I am a senior citizen, so I told him that I would reach out when I was able to make arrangements with to empty and cover my storage items. When I notified him, he didn't respond for several days until I asked him if he was ghosting me. At that point he said that he was too busy and would "try" to fit me into his schedule when he had time. I finally had enough and said that it was almost 2 months since the project was supposed to be completed and I needed him to make time to fix it right away. He stopped communicating with me. Now I will need to hire someone else to properly level my shed, which will not only cost me more, it will take away the use of the shed as it is being repaired. Because this is outside the 30 days of the Yelp guarantee because of the reoccurring issues, I will be out of pocket. I recommend that you do not hire this person.

I hired NXT Construction to remodel my duplex in Copperas Cove, and the entire experience was…read moreextremely disappointing. From the beginning, I was told certain items were included in the project, but later almost everything became a "change order" or an upcharge. They're cheap. They used left over materials for my condo renovation. Even simple requests suddenly became "too expensive," which made the process feel misleading and inconsistent. The quality of the work does not reflect the money I paid. The job was definitely rushed, many important details were left incomplete, and the results did not match what was promised. Concerns I raised--such as mold issues and specific finish requests like quartz countertops--were dismissed or avoided, and nothing was handled with the level of professionalism I expected. To make matters worse, one of my front screen doors went missing during the project and was never addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I feel the work performed did not justify the cost, their communication was unreliable, and their business practices lacked integrity. I strongly encourage others to choose a different contractor. Save your money.

I had advertised for someone to wash all 19 of our windows inside and out. I worked with Ivan and he came by to see the project for himself/that way there is no misunderstanding . After he and another employee went through the house with me to see the windows and what they would be doing he advised that they did all kinds of handy work. So I decided to talk to him about a couple other things that I had really wanted done and asked him if he could've put a quote together for all of them -Which he did. I did indeed hire Esquives after reviewing the quote. I also had them power wash my upper and lower deck mow our yard front and back and clean it up. I also requested they completely take all the plants and vines out of one specific area that went from the front of our garage to our gate. Last but not least I had them replace the two poles that are holding up our pergola that is over our concrete patio. It has been there for over 30 years. It's almost like a Ripley's believe it or not anyway they also re-stained all of it, including the new posts and it looks great. I'm looking forward to a few more estimates that I have requested. They did a good job on everything. I'm not sure if they were well-versed in windows in terms of washing. I have double paned windows and I believe that caused an issue. They had mentioned they were going to have to go out and get the supplies to do the windows. I have had them done in the past and most of the people that I hired used squeegees. I feel like they came out as good as they could have considering the double pane windows in that there are sometimes things inside that you cannot remove. They also did a great job cleaning up the windowsills. They were more than willing to work with me to help me stay within my budget. They did the staining and replacing the posts of the pergola on Saturday. They said they would be here at 10 and they absolutely were right on the dot- we experienced the same thing with Monday when they finished up all the rest of the projects they arrived at 8 AM and worked all day finishing around 5 PM. There were a total of five employees all working at once. I highly recommend them!
