My master bathroom needed to be remolded on top of all the plumbing & faucets need to be replaced, Cody offered a great solution and cost effective and economical, arrived a few minutes before 8AM to begin the job, and in a day transformed my dingy bathroom into one that looked completely Brand New. My husband and I were amazed at the transformation. Cody gave us the most beautiful, perfectly laid tile, cleaned the shower and floor grout, sealed, and recaulked where needed. He made the bathroom look like it did originally when the house was built. Bottom line -- if you want a professional, qualified, courteous, honest, hardworking, and incredibly ethical handyman, look no further than Cody handyman. Don't waste your time calling anyone else!

Do not hire Michael Cody. If you have an older or historic home, keep him away from your property…read more - Sloppy, destructive work: We had a sagging historic door that needed minor realignment. He claimed we needed entirely new brackets, then drilled ugly extra holes into the door face and slapped on mismatched bright metal hardware. - Empty guarantees: He left the deadbolt hanging at the absolute bottom of the pocket. Despite his "guarantee" it wouldn't sag further, it dropped within days until the door wouldn't lock at all--creating a serious security issue. - Ghosted on warranty: When asked to return and make it right, he cycled through fake emergencies and hospital excuses, then went completely silent. - Unnecessary work: I resolved the issue myself with basic hinge pin sleeves and lubricant. His costly "bracket replacement" was completely unnecessary and damaged the door. Takes your cash, does shoddy work, and vanishes when held accountable.

He was also budget friendly & the cheapest quote I received but you get what you pay for.. he is completely unreliable. We agreed for him to meet at my house at 9 am on a Saturday which the image of the text message is included. At 9:47am the day of the appointment, I text him to find out what his ETA is because maybe I can run an errand to go to the pharmacy before he arrives. No answer. I call him at 10am asking him when I should expect him because maybe I can run that errand if he is still far enough away & he responds with you tell me. I clarified why I was asking & he said it depends what the GPS says I don't know how far you live. Then he sounded frustrated, I told him I'm only 30 mins away & it will only take me 15 mins and if he hasn't left yet then it's best for me to go now since I'm just waiting for him anyways & I'll be home before 10:30am. Obviously it sounds like he hasn't left yet. I explained to him I just wanted to find out if he was on the road already or not. So I ran to the pharmacy & got back before 10:30am as promised and didn't hear from him if he left yet. From the attached image of my text, I asked him to text or call me when he was on his way then I'll provide him with the gate code. I live in a gated community & I never give my gate code right away until I ensure the person, especially service ppl, is confirmed on their way for safety reasons. At this time I am fixing an old vacuum cleaner & testing it to see if it works. That only took 15 mins to try and vacuum & in that time I didn't hear my phone ring. I missed Mike's 3 calls. Attached is also an image of when he first called at 10:43am telling me he is already at the gate. At 10:53am I called him back & no answer. I kept calling & texting him back saying sorry I missed him because I was vacuuming & couldn't hear my phone but no answer or replies. It was only 10 mins from when he first called to when I called him back, that is it. He never called or answer my text & I guess took off because I made him wait 10 mins. It was only 10 mins difference but he agreed to be at my house at 9am & I was being understanding of that. He can waste my time but God forbid we waste his. Still never received a message back
