He came over yesterday after I messaged him Friday and installed a new electric deadbolt and remounted another one that wasn't working or properly installed. His name is Seydou (say-do) and he is super professional and reasonably priced! He does free estimates and accepts Zelle. I also like that he texted with me instead of calling! 10/10 recommend using him. He ran to my mom's house after finishing at ours and hung up some stuff for her and tightened her loose glass shower door! Our house took on water when my washing machine malfunctioned and flooded about half of the first floor. For the most part Chau did a decent job and is a nice guy. The job consisted of replacing carpet, padding, baseboards as well as repainting where the base boards were demoed sheet rock was repaired. There was the typical added cost that the contractors never tell you about upfront and to be fair sometimes they don't know. In this case Chau had a difficult time getting a paint match done by Lowes. Which in my opinion should be pretty simple. Because he couldn't match it he had to charge me EXTRA to make the paint blend. Of course I can agreed because I wanted everything to look as it was before considering my house was built in 2022. After he was completed and paid in full, I noticed significant deficiencies in the paint job. When I reached out to Chau I got no response. I also sent him the pictures that I've attached here and still no response. Some of these items may seem small, however, as a professional if you choose to neglect the small items and details, it makes me question the larger things I didn't and can't see. BE CAREFUL!
