He said he had to get gas and someone stopped to talk to him. Spends an hour working (going back to truck for various tools, hardware store for equipment, and 20 minutes pitching me on generators) all said and done, they leave before noon and charge me their hourly rate from 9-12. So I paid for them to get gas, forget tools, not have adequate material on hand, and pitch me on products I didn't ask for. The office was "nice" enough to knock 30 minutes off since they provide 0 heads up that they charge you to drive/get gas/socialize in the parking lot. Their Ts&Cs claim invoices are due in 10 days after job completion. However, they will shake you down and threaten collections on day 2. I had even told them I would take care of it as soon as I was back in town due to last minute business travel. Received harassing messages and voicemails the next day. I would avoid this company at all costs.

7/2/2025 - The company came out to check our mini split HVAC system which was not running properly,…read morewhich they previously installed years prior. The technician pulled apart the system, added a very small amount of coolant, but s detemrined it needed to be cleaned. We were given a quote of $375 to clean the system but there was an extra diagnosic charge, which we already paid. When questioned, they would not return calls. After the tech left, the system stopped working completely. After several ignored calls and sending techs out to do the cleaning with addressing the new problem, a tech now found a leak, right where the original tech pulled out components checking the system. The previous tech broke the system and it was out off coolant. After months and months of being ignored from the Columbia office, the resolution desk got involved. They could not get answers from the office for months. All our inquires and theirs were ignored. They finally claimed the left a message giving me a price to fix it. $1500.00. That was a lie. We did not get any call nor a was message left. It is also not their policy to leave quote by phone. The are supposed to email, as they did the $375 cleaning estimate. After a few more months, we finally got a call from the local manager, who said they were waiting on part. When confronted that he had no idea what part was needed, the story changed to needing a new system and they would call me immediately with a great price on a new system. The call NEVER came. After many more calls and conversations with the resolution center the call was escalated to another dept. This new department could not get answers either. After two weeks, it is now October 1st. No calls. I finally reach the new dept who was now given a quote of $11,000. They admitted that was too high. The Columbia office refuses to return calls and address the problem correctly. They ignore their own departments who try to get them to resolve the issue.

We are so happy with the way the laundry room repairs came out -- floor replaced, walls repaired and beadboard added, and fresh contemporary paint (that's monorail silver!). You cannot rely on easy electrical solutions to honor their appointments.
