The wooden post on our Gazebo was destroyed by water damage. I got 2 quotes from other companies to repair the post. Their quotes were too high and they could not complete the project for 2-3 weeks. Luckily, I found Alex (Mo, the business owner). He stopped by my house the next day to check the gazebo and set up a time to come back in a couple of days and repair it. He did a great job and are very happy with the outcome we plan to do many other projects with Mo in the future. Thank you Mo for a great job. SHAHIN Tustin Ranch Estate read more

Mo knows the first rule of doing home improvements: Always under-promise and over-deliver. He told us that he should have the project done within a week, and he finished in three days! But that wasn't enough - he checked back in with us to see if there was anything that needed to be corrected, and came out and took care of everything. We are so happy that we've already contracted him for THREE MORE jobs!!! Thanks Mo - you're the best! read more

Handyman EG - Alex - After 25 years, we now have our beautiful picket fence! - Handyman Near Me

UPDATE- 07/20/20 This is the third time I have called Alex for repairs. Be careful. He hiked up the price big time on me and way over charged. Get bids & verify cost before any work authorized is my advice. You do not try and gauge people because we are friendly to you. Alex did an amazing job replacing some doors in my house. He takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. He also repaired my broken dryer. I was about to get a new one when he offered to look at it. One part later and it's back in business. I will be calling Alex for any repair, carpenter or handyman services I need! read more

I am pleased to say that Mohamed worked on a house project for me. He does a superb job every time. Very friendly and easy to deal with. He walks you through the entire process from start to finish and no surprises. Mohamed works efficiently and does a very clean work. His labor cost is very fair. I hired him again for the third time to do a painting job. I strongly recommend this guy for any house projects you might have. He does pretty much any handyman work you can throw at him. 5 STARS!!!! read more

Handyman EG - Alex - Handyman Near Me

I had someone else look at my leak. They didn't understand the problem and wanted me to pay a huge bill to replace everything. Mohamed was my next call. He ran to Home Depot and it took him 5 min to replace a small piece that solved my problem. He took the time to understand the issue. His honesty saved me. Highly recommended!!! read more

They say you can only get two of these three-- "Quick work, quality work, or cheap work." Mohammed proved that wisdom wrong when he came out and installed a fence in one day, by himself, for a fair price (~$250 less than other quotes I had been offered.) The initial quote was around lower based on pictures, but when he came out he advised me that there was some termite damage that needed to be repaired. He works quickly and pays attention to details. The fence he installed matched my budget and looks like it will last a decade. I have nothing negative to say about his handwork. He clearly takes pride in it. As for Mohammed, he is very friendly, honest, and punctual. He surveryed the job in the late afternoon, and was at my house 8:30 the next morning working on it. He responded to my text message and photos quickly, and offered advice when appropriate. I will be calling Mohammed in the future when I need another job done. It can be hard to find quality work for a fair price these days, but I can recommend Mohammed confidently from my limited experience with his fencing abilities. He also showed me an online portfolio that looked great. 5 stars. read more

When I contacted Mohamed for a quote on a unique dry rot situation, he called me back immediately, and continued to be punctual and responsive throughout the project. When he came to assess the situation he had the same idea I did regarding the repair (ie not do a patch job, but remove the surrounding windows and replace all damage that was unseen behind the exterior trim). He respected both my house and our neighbors by cleaning up each day he was working, and our time by finishing the project on two consecutive days, morning to evening, rather than dragging things out. You will likely be able to find a lower quote for the job you need done, but Mohamed is fully worth any difference you may find. read more

Mohamed was honest, efficient, and knowledgeable. He took out an old bathroom sink and vanity and installed a new vanity combo. He's very meticulous and skilled with his engineering background. He also replaced a kitchen faucet and repaired a sink as well as my garage seals. read more

Muhammad, is nice and worked very hard for use. The job was a little complicated but he powered through and got it done.

Showed up on time to install two sinks and was even willing to help with additional assistance on my door and tub. Was knowledgeable and fast with the work. After finishing he reviewed what he did and made sure I was satisfied with the job. I appreciate that he took the time to explain how the connections worked and tested for leaks with me there. Would definitely recommend and will be calling again in the future! read more

Mo came to our house to advise my husband and I on a very complex situation with our patio door. Mo was timely, efficient and very good at what he does. Our doors are now in good working order, his precision to the task was outstanding. Mo comes to you with our highest recommendation read more

Mohamed fixrd our three problems very well. It was a simple plumbing, electrical florescent bulb replacement and bathroom fan but it turned out much more complicated. The toilet valve busted and leaking water when he checked and the florescent light was leaking electricity, something we were not expected. Mohamed ran around town finding all the parts and got it taken care of. We didn't expected the job to be complicated but he negotiated a fair price for all the services and we greatly appreciated his professionalism and work. Highly recommended him for any future handyman work and we will hire him again. read more

This is actually the second time I've hired Mohammed to repair/refinish a cracked tub and both times he's done an amazing job. Last time, he fixed several deep cracks in a an expensive jacuzzi tub, just like they never happened. This time, he did a fabulous job refinishing our 40+ year old cracked and discolored tub/shower, as well as installing a new glass enclosure and fixtures. It looks amazing--he even came back to increase the water pressure for me. He is a punctual and hard working problem solver. I highly recommend his services! read more

Excellent work, had other Handymen and he outshines them all. He is my go to Handyman from now on. Can't say enough good thing about him. read more

The first time we hired Mohamed, we had asked him to install 6 recessed lights in our family room and to mount our 65" TV over our fireplace. He completed both jobs very well. He worked hard on our projects and made sure everything was done perfectly before he left. We were quite pleased with his work product and his reasonable rates. We hired Mohamed again today to repair an electrical (new) issue we were having. He quickly figured out the problem. He could not get the part he needed to replace, but was able to get it working anyway. He took the time to explain the issue and assured me he would return at no charge if the same problem happened again. It is obvious Mohamed tries very hard to problem solve and troubleshoot in order to help his clients the best he can. He has been very helpful with each job we have hired him to do. We will call him whenever we need fix-it services around our home! read more

Moe did a great job and easy to work with. Showed up on time and was able to work through the issues He was knowledgeable and fixed issues without problems He was easy to work with and reliable. Only thing we weren't a big fan of was the cost and then he also brought a friend to check out an issue. We figured we would get an estimate but then the friend suddenly wanted extra money for showing up. Blind sided us a bit and not the best situation to be in. They need to do a better job in managing expectations and cost but that's the only reason I give it 4 stars. From a work perspective I give him 5 stars otherwise Overall recommend Mohammad for handy man work. Just make sure you have clear understanding on cost upfront We will probably use him in future read more

Mohamed couldn't have been nicer! He responded right away and was able to come to the house within hours. He checked out the work to be done, ran to Home Depot and came right back. He fixed everything including rewiring a fan to work on a different switch from the light. I would definitely recommend him for any handyman issues. He was willing to fix anything....I wish I had more things for him to do! read more

Showed up on time. My tub faucet was broke and leaking and it was very hard to remove as it was jammed in there. But Alex patiently applied different techniques to remove and install new faucet. All in all I am super happy with his work. You definitely trust Alex to get the job done cost effectively!!! read more

Brother Mo was very good at his work! Fast service and dependable. Thank you brother, from your Iranian friend, Kaveh

Mohamed replaced all the posts and cross supports for our wood fence, which were damaged from too much water and time. He had to take all the planks off and rebuilt each section. We reused planks since the price of wood is so high at this time. He updated us as needed, when more damage was found than expected. He also built a new, much stronger, gate for us. We are very happy with all the work he did and would hire him again to do work around our home. He was on time, communicated well and cleaned up when the job was completed. It was refreshing to work with someone who did the job as if he was working at his own home. read more

I just had the pleasure of doing business with EG-Alex. Mohammad showed up to work on time clean and ready to work. He was friendly and very professional. Mohammad started working immediately and it was clear he was a true professional Craftsman. He worked quickly and efficiently, and was very aware and concerned about the safety aspects of a swimming pool being on the job site. The project was a large job that took 2 days, even though he was only off site for the night he left the area extremely clean and safe. Mohammed was genuinely concerned that I was happy with his work and satisfied with the finished result. If it was possible to give somebody 6 stars he would get them. I highly recommend him for any home projects you may need help with. read more

I had a project that would take about an hour. I forwarded pictures of the project and Alex came by to review the specifics and we negotiated a fair price. Because of rain we could not do the project for several weeks. During that time we had plenty of conversation back-and-forth to keep in touch. On the day of the project he showed up on time and performed the project flawlessly and with great care. Very satisfied with the results. read more
