I was selling my home and George Jarrell answered the call, thank goodness! As an older woman, living alone, I have to be extremely cautious in such matters. George was a godsend! He worked hard, kept control of his crew, made sure everything was done, and done right...and cleaned up afterwards! The house sold immediately, for the asking price.
Bought my home in Somerset, KY and, seven years later, I still call George, and he still answers, anytime anything goes wrong. Porches, deck repair, new water heater, gutters, insulation, electric, stair replacement...anything!
And, during that whole time, not once have I worried about having George, or his crew, in and around me and my home. In fact, I usually make lunch, and send them home with brownies when they're done.
BTW, those porch steps pictured were my prior home, the first job George did (prior to painting) - and he fixed the drainage and put in a concrete "landing" at the bottom. He widened the steps, added safer handrails, and made sure there was space enough to put planters...all his idea (yes, he asked/suggested these changes first) and wound up with jobs from my three neighbors! He has done work for my friends, and family ever since. I wouldn't call anyone else. He has become as cherished as a son. - Maggie Coffey, Somerset, KY. read more
