I've been a customer of Wilber's for several years. Up till now I've always found them to be…read morereasonable in price, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I don't know what's happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber's decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It's sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it's certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with.

It all started when I need to paint my daughters room. We bought our house two years ago and my…read moredaughter bedroom was very pink which my wife never cared for. We held off on doing anything until she was born. We decided to go with Purple but I didn't want to be bothered with it. I went on Home Adviser and filled out a profile so that I could run a search. Little did I know that Home Adviser sends your info to certified people who then call you. You can search as well but it was easier to have someone call me. Art from Arc was the first person to respond to my request. I wanted to take time out of my busy schedule to add them here because they are amazing. I was a little worried to start off with because in terms of painters I always in vision a crew of three working who work for someone and to them its just a job. The crew in my mind has a language barrier (non English speaking) or are smokers, or some other thing that would make you nervous to let them in your home. So when Art called me I was a little thrown off. He was very enthusiastic about coming by to look at my room and give me a quote. I hesitated a little but eventually thought what the heck. That's when things started to go really well and all my fears melted away. Art told me he would be stopping by with his color specialist and wife Rosanne. When they arrived they brought a behr paint color book and they did electronic measurements of my daughters bedroom. They were a little hesitant to give me a quote without running the numbers but I already had an idea what I thought the job was worth. Luckily the ball park number was right on and I was able to offer them the business right there. I figured we would then pick a color and start painting but this is where Arc added some special touches that I never though about. Rosanne likes to do something she calls color boards. She paints a 2x2 square of white construction paper with the requested colors then drops them off at your house and tapes them to the wall. You then have a chance to see it over the next day in all types of light and really get a feel for the color. I was amazed at how Art and Rosanne really see this as their business and not just a job. When we agreed on the color I was ready for the other shoe to drop and find out that Art was sending his crew what I didn't know was that Art was the crew. He does the painting, sanding, Spackleing, and Hepa Vacuuming himself. Not only does he do that but he really takes his time. He spent two full days on my daughters room and the quality was exquisite. I was so impressed I offered him my downstairs bathroom and Bedroom. Working with Arc was a real pleasure and I would gladly do it again. I am going to have them power wash and refresh the paint on my deck as well as paint the underside of my home next year. Oh and get this Art offers two years of free touch ups. He keeps your paint color on file which comes in handy when my two year old decides to possibly get clever with a magic marker. Do yourself a favor and hire Arc because they really are the definition of a pride based mom and pop business who puts quality over profit. Also their prices are very low compared to estimates I had gotten in the past.

Carols was the only one that wanted to do it in person so he could be as detailed and precise with the quote. Gave me a quote Monday and started work on Tuesday. I feel if I had gone with an another person they would not have seen that it needed extra prep work prior to painting and the walls would have had rough spots and lines. Carlos and Carlos Sr. Worked on the project and got it done quickly but correctly. We a super happy with results and cost. We've already got a quote from them for our living room and will be getting that project on the books shortly. Overall very happy customers and can't recommend enough.

Their pricing was very competitive, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. They did thorough prep work, including power washing the entire house along with scraping and sanding where needed. They also applied primer where appropriate and finished with two coats of Benjamin Moore paint, which really shows in the final result. They even took care of replacing damaged shingles, which was a huge plus. The crew was punctual, very pleasant, and paid great attention to detail. Any questions or concerns were addressed immediately, and they made sure everything was done right. The house looks amazing.
