Handycrew really came through during an unexpected remodel that we had due to mold. They had to remove all new cabinets, closets system, appliances, linen , baseboards, closet mirror doors, doors, pack them, store them and once we were done , unpack and reinstall everything It seemed nearly impossible to not cause any damage while doing all that and they were so careful and good to work with that they didn't cause any damage. Their workmanship was great, very skilled and most importantly very careful. To compare another contractor came cut new baseboard because this wasn't in handycrews scope of work and within 8 hours they damaged my cabinet and cracked our brand new tiles. So great job Handycrew for weeks of work with no damage!!! Called last week to get several things in my home done. 1 in particular was the installation of a hood vent and cabinet in the kitchen. Aldo, came out gave me and estimate and got all the measurements. The following day, I was able to provide the cabinet and called to let them know I got the cabinet so there was no need to build it from scratch. I called Aldo, to check on the start date for his subcontractor. He says to me "Sorry, you'll need to call the office and talk to the owner "Nir". He is upset about the changes. " So I call the office, talk to the receptionist she said she would give Nir the message to call me back. Long story short, Nir never called me back nor did Aldo. Apparently, the project wasn't big enough, changes aren't allowed. Last I checked the name of the company was "Handycrew". Unreliable and definitely out to get your money. In this day & age, finding a reliable handy man is tough. I find it amusing that there's apps to make everything in life easier, yet I still have trouble finding someone TRUSTWORTHY to do small/medium size repairs in my house (lighting issues, dry wall work) I was referred to Handcrew by my older brother who is actually a bigger service snob than I am.. and swore this place was the real deal. I had set up an appt for Earlier today as I had some lighting issues in my kitchen that I could not figure out. The repairman was on time, respectful, and most important - was honest. He wasn't trying to upsell me and you could tell he was comfortable talking about lighting options, fixture options, etc. It's nice to know that the guy doing my repairs, actually knew what he was doing (you'd think i'd expect this from any repair guy.. but my last experience taught me) if you want a stress-free , knowledgeable and RELIABLE electrician that also does dry wall (ITS RARE to find someone that does both WELL) - give handycrew a shot. I can't tell you how happy I am to have found such a reliable, responsive and trusthworthy Handyman (Crew). They do everything. They have fixed our outlets in our home, repainted our trellis and roof shillings and other things. I call, and someone picks up, not an answering machine. They have managed to send someone out the next day when we need work done quickly. I found them on Angie's List, and called for some questions to be answered and I got through to someone so quickly. I didn't know some answers they were looking for, so they called my husband for me and got it done. I am so happy to have found them. This was a high end job and Nir and his crew did a great job. Gustavo was very professional, respectful and left the job site extremely clean each day. We did have some issues with the tile flooring but the reason that I am giving 5 stars still is because Nir was awesome throughout the process. He personally came to my home a couple of times and stuck with me and was willing to do whatever it took to make me happy without cutting corners. We have used the founder of HandyCrew for years now. We moved into our house four years ago and we have touched almost every surface. Our house looks beautiful and we owe a lot of it to HandyCrew and its founder. Most recently we converted a large room in our home into a bar/hangout area. HandyCrew did all the work, demolition, plumbing, cabinets, counter tops, flooring, electrical, paint and moldings. Probably could have saved a few $$ by bidding each job separately, but there is a lot to be said for the contractor style approach.
