The best handyman company around. Had them install shower doors in my kids bathroom. They were very professional and nice. They did a great job and I will definitely use them for all future work. I called these guys on Monday morning as I needed a quote for some work on home I have listed. They came right out the next morning -- took the time with me to walk through the list of items. Super patient and very thorough. As promised, they sent me a quote for the work -- very reasonable. Unfortunately, my schedule was tight and I was not able to work within the time they had available in their calendar -- they are the most professional, organized, and efficient team I have come across. Greg and Bill were superb! We had them mount a TV for us which required the addition of an electrical outlet, and we also had them hang a few pictures in our new place. I found Handy Randy on Yelp, and can't believe my good luck that I called these guys. I was told that they are normally busy about 3 weeks ahead - so you need to schedule in advance - but good quality work at a fair price is worth the wait. They were actually able to squeeze me in the following week that I called, as my job was just a small one - estimated to be just an hour. I had a broken wooden bed frame (my teenager jumped on the bed one time too many) and Bill Larson came out to repair it. He got right to work, and fixed it in an hour. His rates to fix the bed were amazingly fair. Bill is a super nice guy, and seems to really know his stuff. From what I gather, he's more than just your average handyman. He seems to be a very knowledgeable guy, and I'm definitely going to use him for future projects. As a matter of fact, I was showing him some plumbing projects that I'd like to get taken care of, and he had some excellent ideas on how to get the job done -- much better ideas than some of the full-time plumbers that I've talked with. And I know that Bill will be fair with me on the price of the work, unlike many others. read more

Handy Randy to the rescue again. My husband and I hired an individual to come out and install a new kitchen floor. My husband and I did all of the demo work so all that was needed was the actual installation of the tiles we purchased. When it came time to do the work, the individual doubled his estimate and then refused to return a portion of our deposit. In short, it was a bad situation all around. Fortunately, Handy Randy came to the rescue in the form of Bill Larson and his brother, Bob. Shortly before installing the porcelain floor, Bill researched the situation and raised some concerns. He then came out to perform a safety check before work began. The floor is beautiful and we are very happy with the end result. Thank you, Handy Randy, for saving the day once again! I can't say enough good things about this family business, but I'll try. This is how a top notch business used to operate, back in the day of cord phones and phone booths. I asked for quotes to do a few plumbing items around my house on Yelp-- changing a kitchen faucet, resetting a toilet, changing out two sink drain stopper assemblies. It's a great Yelp feature-- they automatically send your scope of work to about ten handymen and you hear back from them with estimates either to your cellphone if you give a number or to your Yelp account. I heard back from several handymen quoting a fixed price. Tammy at Handy Randy, who schedules the jobs and estimates, was the only person who wrote back to my Yelp account and gave an hourly labor rate and an estimate of the time to do the job. Needless to say, it was the most reasonable figure. And Handy Randy had the most Yelp rave reviews by far-- and as I later found out, for good reason. I called Tammy and she scheduled an appointment for one of the men to come out and do the job. I told her that I would buy all my own parts and had everything ready in advance--cleaned out all items from under the sink so they could work unimpeded. Bob, one of the brothers that own this tremendous family business, showed up exactly on time. A super nice guy, he was neat as a pin and could not have been more pleasant and professional. He got right to work, no nonsense, and worked non stop to finish the project. In the course of the job, I found out I needed a different part and ran to the Ace Hardware and picked it up while Bob kept working on a different item. Bob finished the job in less than the estimated time and cleaned up the work spaces better than before he came and hauled away the old junk. I could NOT have asked for better customer satisfaction than I got from these folks. Being about as handy myself as a chimp with ten thumbs, I am making a list of the projects I want Handy Randy to take care of around my house. When in doubt of what it will take to do a job, Bob told me his brother Bill will come out and give an estimate. Bob shared that their family moved here from the Midwest and for those of us who come from there, we know that means honest work that they take pride in. The one downside is that they are busy as cats in a rocking chair factory, because they are that good and their price is very fair. So if you don't have a 24-hour emergency, like a 1 inch water line break, give them a call. You'll be singing their praise like I am! read more

This is a great family-owned and operated company. I had a bunch of random household repairs done about a month or two ago. I had some baseboards installed in the bathroom, new faucets in the bathrooms, curtain rods installed, and a few more things.
