Fantastic company. Bob and Greg hung my pictures and hooked up my electronics quickly and affordably. They were both professional, friendly and on time. Tammy, who manages the office is efficient and responsive too. I am calling them back for more services as we speak. read more

This was the first "handyman" service I've used and I am impressed! Bill was professional, kind, and willing to go above and beyond his service. I had him hang a gallery wall with a decal on top (which he has never done) and it turned out perfect! I love my new wall and am pleased it is finally complete. I am So happy I googled "handyman" and found this company. Will definitely use again:) read more

Handy Randy - Handyman Near Me

Just had Greg and Bob from Handy Randy come out and install 2 ceiling storage racks that I brought from Home Depot. They did an AWESOME job. There's a reason that these guys are booked weeks or even months in advance. They do solid quality work. Even when some of the parts weren't up to snuff (two of the lag bolts snapped in half), Greg and Bob used their own better/superior lag bolts (no charge) to properly secure the racks. The garage racks look great and they also helped me to swap a broken washer pan during the appointment. Not sure what Kathy B's review is about since I certainly didn't experience any of the issues that she mentioned. These guys are professional, honest, and really responsive to the client's need. Plus the price I paid was more than fair (they charge for the time worked and not from when they show up). I won't hesitate to contact Handy Randy for any of my future handyman needs. Heck I called them again right after the installation to make another appointment to get some the electrical work done. Thanks Handy Randy read more

It does not get better than this. I had multiple things to be fixed around the house. Bill came in for a quote and gave me his honest opinion on some of the planned projects. He even showed me how to fix some of the items - free of charge. If you are in need of a honest Handyman, look to further and give them a call! read more

The guys at Handy Randy are so nice, professional, and helpful. We have had them back to our house multiple times for projects such as building a bookshelf, hanging a pendant light, hanging drapes, hanging large mirrors, putting tile in a closet, and running electrical for a closet. They are busy and sometimes have to be booked a month plus in advance, but I don't mind because I know when they come, they will do a good job and clean up after. read more

Handy Randy is hands down the BEST team I have come across yet and the only team my family will ever use. We've had Bob over for various projects on three or four occasions. My family loves Bob! Greg is a wealth of knowledge for our community and is everyone's go to guy for just about any question we can come up with. Not only is the work exceptional, but the people are also great. They handle anything from small jobs to larger projects. I recommend them to everyone I know. read more

Handy Randy was a life saver! We are selling our house and we are 3 days away from an open house when the light in the master bathroom stopped working. I explained the situation we were in and Greg showed up the next day even though they were fully booked with work. I am so glad he did because we now have a working light in time for the open house! I took advantage of the situation while he was there I started asking him roughly how much it would cost to do some other work before we sold the house. I loved his honesty. He told me where we thought we would see some return on our investment and where we shouldn't spend any more money. If we need anything done in the new place, Handy randy will be my first call. read more

I called Handy Randy for some help with an exterior door. Bill and Greg gave me a very fair estimate. Bill arrived within a few days. He perform the job in a few hours. I now have a door that shuts properly, new deadbolt and door sweep. I am very pleased! read more

Bill and Greg did an excellent job in our new home. All of their work was done to perfection. We could not have asked for anything better, and they were so enjoyable to work with! We highly recommend Bill and Greg. read more

This is my very first yelp review. This dynamic duo were awesome. They were professional, helpful, honest, and more than competent. Greg & Bill made sure that I was 100% happy with everything before they left. They gave me options & their prices are competitive. Their service went above & beyond my expectations. I will definitely be a repeat customer & highly recommend them to my friends & family. read more

We had to replace some siding because of a plumbing leak in front of the kitchen. The wood had to be milled as this siding is no longer being made. Greg arrived and went to work on replacing the ship lap siding. The problem was there was several pipes coming outside from the kitchen that had to be cut into the wood. It was tricky to get the holes to line up properly and then cutting the board to get the pipes to slide into the board. They did a beautiful job and screwed the boards on, incase we have another plumbing problem they can be taken off with out breaking them. They then replaced a faucet in the kitchen and did a beautiful job. I can say that Handy Randy did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone. Very nice people to work with. They also return phone calls and were on time. read more

We hired Handy Randy to replace tracking for sliding closet doors, install shelves on a half wall, replace the floor beneath the kitchen sink, recaulk the bathroom counter, and install new flooring in the closet in our new condo. We could not be happier with the entire process. First, they are great about getting back to you. Second, Bill and Bob were absolutely fantastic to work with and my wife and I enjoyed how friendly and professional they were. We also loved how fair their pricing was, including a free initial consultation. And finally, the end results were awesome. Each project they completed, 4 in total, exceeded our expectations. (We're still figuring out the tracking system)and as a bonus only took about half a business day to complete. We could not recommend this company enough and will hire them in the future for any repairs. read more

Handy Randy consists of a father and son team that provide service like back in the "good old days" when quality and customer satisfaction really mattered. I am not over-stating how wonderful and efficient Greg and Bill are and how they do every job with precision and the kind of care one would have for their own property. So far they have repaired and painted my severely damaged wood windows, re-surfaced the garage floor, repaired severely damaged wood from water and termites, and several other odds and ends. The are honest, fair priced and just really pleasant gentlemen! I think they can do just about any job, and if they can't, they will tell you. You can't go wrong, and I have never said such positive things about home repair craftsmen before. read more

We've hired these guys to mount our TVs as well as repair our outside yard gates and they've done an outstanding job. So grateful!

Bill and Greg did several jobs in my house today. They installed tile, put new LED cans in a bedroom, installed concrete on a patch of patio, and glued down some missing wood pieces for me. They were just amazing and very neat, clean and professional work. I will definitely be using them again! Can't say enough positive things! read more

AH-MAZE-ING! Greg is Fantastic! Anything I want done, he does it better then I had imagined. Super reliable... great attention to detail, quick, efficient, and it always turns out great! No matter what the job is.... he can do it!! Don't call anyone else!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Their work may be good BUT the time it took for them to completely finish the job was the better part of 1 year. They are booked months ahead, so don't expect to get them to come out anytime soon. Don't understand why they don't hire more workers. read more

The Handy Randy men have done many projects in my home. Greg, Bill and Bob are a respectful, honest, fair and trustworthy. A family owned business, with the highest quality work. Their work is superb! They custom designed a gorgeous clad, cedar stained wall/fence for backyard. Their craftsmanship is impeccable. They've installed several light fixtures, complex electrical work, garage storage shelves, mounted all our TVs. It's not easy to find someone to you can trust come into your home. Handy Randy is the best!! read more

I have used Handy Randy several times now, each time they are professional, helpful and a pleasure to have around. They have added several pot lights to my home, installed dimmer switches and built a cupboard door with sliding track for a trash compactor replacement. The work is consistent and they are very conscientious! What more could one ask for? Simply the best guys to work with! read more

Handy Randy came to our house to complete a diverse list of tasks we couldn't DIY, and they not only did them all efficiently, they also found dangerous mistakes a previous electrician had made on our house. They aren't interested in making big bucks from their customers. They care about quality work and being honest with us about what we can do ourselves to stay on budget or keep our house in good shape for the long run. Thank you for your help, HR. We're already working on List #2! read more

This is an addendum to my previous review. I can't say enough about how wonderful Handy Randy is. After Greg's last visit to our home, we had some other issues come up that needed attention asap. Greg was on it and arrived at my house 40 minutes later, completed the job, and with a handshake, he was off. Since then, we found a hole in our firewall in the garage and felt we needed to repair it for the new owners. This time I had the pleasure of meeting Bill. This father/son team is the best! I have already scheduled an appointment for when we move into our new home for various projects. HR is professional, efficient, & extremely reasonable. If you need any repairs or beautification to your home, these guys are your best bet! read more

I highly recommend Handy Randy! I had back surgery recently and wanted to see if it was possible to make my little boys crib open. Greg was so nice, he first took a glance at the crib then went and bought the supplies. Within an hour he had the crib installed to open and close. I had great customer service and it was so easy to make an appointment! I will definitely keep Handy Randy in mind when I need work done around the house. read more

I needed an honest, reliable & experienced handyman and that's what I got w/ Handy Randy! Yelp came through again for me! Communication with them via email (HandyRandyOC@gmail.com) was very easy! Greg came to my house so that I could show him my honey do list and he was able to give me an estimate. He and his dad, Bill, did a great job, were nice & professional! While assembling a cabinet and hanging shelves and pictures, they asked for my approval before completing the job. Greg even made suggestions based on safety, without being pushy. I was comfortable working with them. They guarantee their work and want to make their customers happy! I am a happy customer that would easily give them repeat business! Thank you Bill & Greg! read more

I cannot say enough about how great this company is. It's a family owned and operated business and I felt comfortable dealing with them from the first call. Brooke, who answers calls, is very friendly and helpful. Greg is the one who came and did the work in my kitchen and it was like I had known him forever. We chatted the whole time he was working. Very nice person. When he arrived, he even took the time to get to know my pups, and this was very much appreciated because one is a recent rescue and nervous around men. It didn't take long for her to trust him and realize he was a nice guy. Never once did I feel uncomfortable having him in my home. His work ethic is impeccable and I will definitely use this company again. I highly recommend them. read more

Love love love them. Quality work on time friendly and fairly priced. Only recommendation is I'd like to have their scheduled text or email vs only do through the phone. We've had the re-caulk, hang closets, replace light fixtures and more. Love them. read more

Bill, Greg & Randy ;-) were excellent in all aspects of the job (cost, expertise, efficient and friendly). I'm almost afraid to post because we would prefer to have them all to ourselves...but considering all the other excellent posts... I guess that's not going to be possible. In short, 5 stars! Greg & Bill completed a varied list of tasks for us. Changing out ceiling lights, some plumbing, etc, etc. These guys are quite simply awesome! On time, friendly, neat. Gave fair, accurate & free estimates. And oh yeah, they do impeccable work. Due to design changes, a couple of adjustments had to be made. They cheerfully completed them all. I have already referred them to friends & they will be my "go to" handy guys. Do yourself a favor and call them first, read more

Professional, showed up on time and kept to the quoted amount of time and money. They are nice guys that you feel comfortable having in your home. They installed kitchen cabinet hardware and a new kitchen faucet and hung 5 large, heavy shutters on a curved wall as an art installation. I've personally recommended them to family and friends. read more

Bill was AMAZING! I loved having him in my house and going through step-by-step what I wanted done. He gave me some pointers on things around the house, which I appreciated because I am a DIYer and loved how open he was to a homeowner doing a few items here and there to cut costs. I was really, REALLY hoping the estimate would be in my price range because I greatly enjoyed his knowledge-base and his willingness to work around a few flaws of my home (I mean...is anyone's house really "easy" - I feel like there will always be something wonky going on!!). Unfortunately, the estimate was much more than I am able to spend right now, so I am pursuing another offer. However, Bill gave me a really great estimate on a future project and I'll probably take them up on that service once my "main" project is complete. read more

Greg is very friendly, prompt and efficient. He is also very knowledgeable and can fix pretty much anything. He does a quality job! I'm glad we found him for our jobs. read more

I just had Bob, from Handy Randy here to fix the door between my master bedroom and bathroom. The door was newly installed during construction, but it never closed (it was tweaked). Bob fixed the door in a few minutes, and now it closes perfectly. The cost was so reasonable! I am wowed. I would highly recommend Handy Randy. read more

I usually don't write review at all but the experience with this company really is horrible. I do have to say it started well on the phone when I made an appointment with the nice lady Tammy on the phone and had to reschedule and the handyman did arrived at my tenant's place on time for the estimate. 2 stars because of this or else it would be a 1 star. After the estimate it's where everything went downhill. I was suppose to get a call for all the works that need to be done and nothing for 3 days so I decided to call and left two messages with no call back. A week gone by I finally got Tammy on the phone after several calls and she told me she has not heard back from the handyman so she will text him and get back to me the same day. What do you know, no callback for another two days. I called again and was informed by Tammy again that she will text the handyman to get an answer. I told Tammy all I need to know is how much and if they don't want to do the job that's fine and just let me know then I will move on to another company. She said she understood and will get back to me as soon as she hears something back. Now it's end of the week, two weeks after the appointment and I still have not hear back on what's going on and gotten an estimate. I don't understand how a business can run like this with no communication with the customer. I don't know why Tammy cannot just call the handyman and ask what's going on instead of texting. This wasted two weeks of my time on top of the two week wait time for the appointment and now I have to start over with another company. Very unprofessional and irresponsible. read more

OK, I was ambivalent about rating Greg for his work on the installation of my water heater recirculation system today. Not because he didn't do a great job, but because I selfishly want to keep this company a secret so that they don't get more overbooked than they already are! All kidding aside, it took 4 weeks to book them to come out after the estimate appointment by Bill (the dad), but it was totally worth the wait. Greg (the son) arrived early, looked at what needs to be done, went to Home Depot to get the materials and came back to do the work. Throughout the process, he was very courteous, even taking his shoes off when he comes inside my house (which is a show of respect in Asian homes). He did a great job, everything was clean after, and he took time to explain things to me. Then as he was prepared to leave, my husband came home and he spent some more time explaining everything to him again. I felt bad because I knew he wanted to get home to his precious little daughter, but he never rushed or made us feel like "Oh brother, you're taking my time. I just explained it to her already!" This is a family company that shows integrity and pride in their work. Unlike most others, they're not in it to make lots money off non-handy people like myself. So glad to have found them!! Thanks Bill and Greg, you guys rock! read more
