All the positive reviews are so well deserved! Ed is honest, reliable, kind, knowledgeable, responsible and dependable. He gets the work done professionally, efficiently and cheerfully, and he offers suggestions to improve upon my requests. As others have stated, if he doesn't feel he is the best one for the your situation or need, he helps you find an appropriate substitution. He is at the top of my list! I'd give him more than five stars if that were an option. read more

First time using Ed for several projects around my home. He was reliable, kind, and helpful (even replacing a couple lightbulbs without hesitation just because they were out. Wasn't even on my list of tasks. Thanks Ed.) Ed was very efficient with his time completing tasks quickly and with quality service. Felt very comfortable with Ed; ready to call on his services again soon! read more

We have been using Ed for a while now on multiple occasions for a variety of tasks. He is great to deal with. Friendly, does not waste time and work is always done to a high standard. He is very reasonably priced and he will not take on a job that he is not comfortable to do. We recommend him highly. read more

He was very professional and got the job done!! He was on time and easy to work with.

Great service! He knows his stuff and good workmanship. We had a couple projects and he did the work well.

It is a very capable and thorough man. He came to the house with one thought of work to do. I asked him if he had any interest in looking at some electrical he assessed and fixed quickly. He is a fair price and a good man read more

I found OC Handyman Services on Yelp and was impressed with the large number of 5 star reviews. Ed did not disappoint! He arrived on time with a big cart of tools and got right to work. He finished my long "to do" list very quickly, taking less than 2 hours to do what I thought would take all day. He was honest and fair and got the work done at a reasonable price. I highly recommend him! read more

I've used Orange County Handyman Services several times, for our two condos. Absolutely the BEST! He has years of experience, and knows all the tips for when things go bad. He's reliable, skilled, and honest. We had our garbage disposal stop working, even though it was only 6 years old, so I called a plumber, who assumed he'd be replacing it, and wanted $300 just for installation, plus the cost of the new disposal! Ed found a toothpick stuck inside, witching 45 seconds, and it runs like new! He also fixed numerous items at our place--at HIS suggestion within his 2 hours we booked! Other handymen would have left after the quick fix on the disposal. I WILL ONLY USE ORANGE COUNTY HANDYMAN SERVICES! read more

Great guy. Super courteous and professional. Did three separate jobs for me. His prices are more than fair but his work is excellent. I'm definitely gonna be using him again and again in the future. read more

Ed has been our handyman for about a year now and has helped us many times! He completes the list of things I need done super fast and always hangs everything perfectly! He also lets my 4 year old follow him around and watch everything he does! It's the highlight of my son's day! He has helped us with things like hanging pictures, installing light fixtures and shelving, baby proofing, fixing creaky doors and screens, tightened all the knobs in the house, and fixed many broken items. Thanks Ed! Highly recommend!!! read more

Five stars. Six actually. If you look at my reviews you'll see that I write only about food places. Not this time!! I was compelled to write this review about the great work that Ed did for my home today. This was my first time requesting a handyman, so I used Yelp's comparison feature to get price estimates from several local handyman services. Ed was the best priced and per the other reviews it looked like I wouldn't regret my decision. And I didn't! 5 stars - Process to book an appointment. Went to his website, orangecountyhandymanservices.com. Filled out the service request form detailing the things I wanted to get done. Within a day I got an email confirming that he can help with the faucet installation, closet shelf installation, and other house repairs I needed. He suggested some appointment times and it fit in my schedule. It also fit right into my request that he come within the week. 5 stars - Speedy. He didn't lag or waste any time getting things done. Before I knew it my list was accomplished in an hour. Then I went to the miscellaneous items that I didn't think he'd have time for, and he finished all of that too. No more small annoyances in the house! He also actively looked around and noticed things that I didn't even saw needed fixing. I've just been living with it. Well, he came and improved it. He finished everything I asked for and more, twenty minutes early. Wow!!! I can appreciate someone who has a sense of urgency. 5 stars - Shares his knowledge and gave great tips to keep my home in working order. He didn't have to do this, but when I asked questions he patiently answered them, giving a thorough explanation, and offered suggestions for how to keep my home in tip top shape. Looks like I've found someone I can count on to help me in the future! read more

Ed was so great. He's punctual, hard working and super nice. He'll come with a truck full of tools and tackles the projects quickly and thoroughly. No sloppy work here. He's honest and will give suggestions on how to get things done in the most efficient and cost effective manner. I can already think of more projects to have him back for!! And I would 100% recommend his services. You won't be disappointed! read more

Ed is reliable, skilled and effective. Highly recommend. He is honest and fair. Ed has helped me out on many occasions.

I found OC Handyman on Yelp after using a previous handyman in my home. OC Handyman's quote was very competitive and after the appointment was scheduled, I received text messages to confirm and to update me on the arrival of the handyman. David showed up to my home and he was very easy to work with. He worked fast and cleaned up everywhere he touched. And, the work (shelf tear out & drywall repair and texture) turned out great. I'll use them again in the future. read more

I found Ed on Yelp and was able to schedule him to come just a few days later to help me hang some pictures and take care of a couple small odds and ends around the house. He was communicative via email to set up the appointment and arrived right on time. He provided his own shoe covers (we don't wear shoes in our house, so I have some right by the front door for service providers, which is sometimes not well-received - but was pleasantly surprised that he just put his on without me asking about it). He was tidy while working and seemed very respectful of our home. I was happy with the final result and even happier to finally have those little tasks off the To Do List! He was amazing with my 4-year-old son, who was very excited to watch and see what "Mr. Ed" was doing. I totally understand that little kids, especially ones that aren't yours, can be super annoying, so I kept trying to scoot him out of the room or occupy him with something else, but Ed was very engaging. My son brought in some of his toy tools and Ed played along, letting him "help". Once our appointment was over, he also spent about 10 minutes of his own time showing him around in his work truck, which was chockabock full of fun tools and equipment. Thank you so much, Ed! read more

Sia came to my home today to fix a few things that I am unable to fix such as electrical issues and changing a battery in a smoke alarm that is 15 feet off the ground on a high ceiling bedroom and I don't climb ladders. He did such an excellent job at such a reasonable price and he is a nice man. I highly recommend his services. read more

Ed installed a heavy barn door, microwave, light fixture, gym equipment and more. Super helpful and job is done right in one go.

Ed is a great handyman with all the intangibles - he shows up on time, listens well, and works hard and quickly. He did a bunch of work on my outside gates, garage doors, toilets, and electrical outlets and hung a RING camera. I have used Ed a few times. He is always looking around for potential other issues and offers suggestions. His website is easy to use and understand. read more

Highly recommend Ed for handyman services, fixed a ceiling fan & installed a thermostat quickly & effectively. Will be returning for future services if needed. read more

We have utilized Ed's services multiple times. Our earlier review still stands. A perfect 10 on a 5 star scale. He is outstanding. We recommend him highly! read more

I am writing to highly recommend Ed Mac for any handyman work you may need. I had the pleasure of hiring him to do several projects in two executive suite buildings. I was/am extremely impressed by his work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail. Ed was prompt and arrived on time for all of the projects. Ed went above and beyond to complete each project to my satisfaction. I will not hesitate to hire Ed again for the future projects I have in the future. He is a true professional who takes pride in his work. Again, I highly recommend Ed Mac anyone who is looking for a reliable and trustworthy handyman. I have had over 50 projects completed by Ed, so there would be too many photos to post. Ed's calendar was always full (because he is THAT good) - - but he always found a spot for me!!! read more

I hired Ed based on his 5 star reviews & he did not disappoint. He's a busy guy, so you might have to wait for a spot in his schedule, but he took care of business. He's fast, so make sure you've got enough tasks lined up for him since he's got a 2 hr minimum. I was going to have him replace a led can light in the kitchen (among other things) & once he showed me what was up, I had him replace all of the kitchen can lights so they'd match. I had to run out to Lowe's to get the cans, so make sure you're prepared with parts you might want replaced. After he finished we figured out we have an East coast connection & a shared interest in old cars, etc. Ed's good people & we'll definitely hire him again. read more

The best, most professional, considerate and punctual handyman! Ed has helped my son and me on two projects and we have more to do. He works quickly and efficiently, and he has taken my young son under his wing to show him how to do things for his mamma! I've searched for years to find someone we can trust, who is reliable and can help us with house projects - and we finally found him! :) I'm so thankful for Ed and all he has done to help my little family! read more

Ed is the best! I hired him for 2 hours. He was on time and started on my list, he got all of the list done. He even got other things not on the list done. Thank you so much, Ed. Finding somebody you can trust, do a great job of work and you connect with immediately is very hard to find. He has great skills in plumbing electrical work carpentry and all the areas of your house I'm so glad I found Ed. I highly recommend him five stars.... read more

He was very helpful and even had suggestions for my closet . I will definitely be giving Ed a call soon to work on my closet shelves he recommended . Don't be fooled by the good reviews; Ed is a slime bucket. Initially told me it would take him 2 to 2.5 hours to install one single hole bathroom faucet since he charges by the hour. He cancelled on me twice last minute (at 11pm the night before and a couple of hours before he was scheduled to come on the day of). He only communicates via email so you can't call or text him so have fun with that. Also, he is very very very sensitive. He got offended when I asked him if he can still do the job with a headcold after he offered to. If he couldn't, I would have asked him to come out another day, but he took it the wrong way. read more

Ed was on time, great personality, super professional and exactly what we needed. We had a no show the week before and Ed did a fantastic job. He not only installed the artwork, but really was thinking through the details of how it would look on the wall and made sure it was exactly to our liking. Would highly recommend read more

Once again I used Yelp to find help. I needed to have curtain rod extenders installed so I could put curtains over the not-so-private vertical blinds on my slider doors in my new apartment. Ed was highly recommended and once I filled out my email request on his website, he responded timely and found a time slot to get the work done for me. He showed up when he said he would and my Yelp for help was done. Privacy restored! It's such a relief to now know I can call Ed for any future fixes and fix ups in the future. read more

I found Ed based on other yelp reviews, so I thought I would add to those who have been satisfied with his services. I needed my Nest wired smoke detectors installed (one at a very high height) and some other random tasks to keep my home in good shape. Ed was responsive and timely. He was available earlier than originally scheduled which worked well for me. He was efficient with the tasks performed. He cleaned my dryer vent, fixed lighting on my overhead stove that was never properly installed, made both of my doors in/out of my house close better and we discussed some further items for when I needed him to return. He is friendly and helpful in discussing items for upkeep or enhancement to ensure the home is well maintained. I will absolutely contact him when needed in the future. read more

I consider myself pretty handy, but I knew I was going to need help hanging my giant new wine glass shelves in my wine shop. They altogether weigh about 150lb. and there aren't any wooden studs in the wall. I found Ed on Yelp and booked him asap. He basically customized the unit and built a support system in the wall- all done in 3 hours. BOOM! Now I can do chin ups on this thing if I want to. Actually I think I'm going to do some right now. Thanks Ed! read more

Ed has been with us for years. He is incredible. Great communication. Always on time, and a maestro with skills. Over the course of a few months, I put together my honey-do list. When I fill out my request for service, often times I am not sure of the brand or type for a replacement part or add on. For instance, this time I wanted a swivel can light to accent a piece of art. No idea quality or brand. Ed emailed me some options, I found one I liked, and had it ready for install on appointment day. I usually request three hours of Ed's time. He effortlessly goes from one project to the next. The last ten minutes, we walk the house and talk of future projects. His product knowledge is incredible. Thank you, Ed, for all you do for us. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Ed's previous reviews certainly speak for themselves. Not only was Ed on time, the communication throughout was top notch. His time estimate for work was also spot on, to the minute. Extremely professional, high quality work. Ed is very approachable, will discuss anything to do with the home and as others have said will both give you suggestions or recommend someone when the request is out of his scope. He only wants to do the best possible work, and recognizes even his highly skilled limitations. I've already started figuring out what I want to do next to our new home, and will definitely have Ed back again! read more

I can't recommend Ed enough. Friendly, super knowledgeable, and does a great job! I trust him with all my jobs!
