Stop your search for a handyman, Up Remodeling and Alex are who you're looking for…read more I needed some work done on my new home (July 2017) before we moved in from out of state. Before the big move, I would only be in town a few days across multiple weeks but Alex met me at my home and on my schedule. I called and emailed 5 other handymen and explained in detail and with pictures what I needed done (kitchen cabinets, backsplash, crown molding in all bedrooms and living room, multiple window replacement, installing driveway lights) but Alex was the only one who came to see the house and he gave me a fair estimate that he stuck to. His expertise and professionalism were exactly what we were looking for especially since we had to manage the project remotely. Alex's advice on materials and his discount on paint at S Williams also helped save me some serious cash. These are the guys you're looking for. I'll be using them again when I redo my floors and finish my basement!

I highly recommend all around the house,…read more I hired All Around the House to setup and install a home bar which involved having to hang cabinets on walls and assemble a very complex Media Center. They gave me a fixed price quote. During assembly of the bar we where missing part of the light fixture, and the Media Center had several broken pieces when Dane unpacked it. Despite having to come back a second time, Dane finished the work for the original quote. Very professional and very friendly, I have already hired him to come back in a few weeks for some more work.

We were fortunate to run into Miguel, owner of Abanto painting, at Sherwin Williams paint store in…read moreGeorgetown! Abanto did a fantastic job painting our entire house. It was easy-peasy working withe him, we chose the paint color, and he did all the rest, buying the paint, etc. Painting is just not rolling paint on the wall, but also attention to trimmings, baseboards, and doors, in addition to prepping the walls very nicely and painting straight edges (line between trim and walls). Devil is in the details. He was very reliable and well-priced. The workmanship was very well done. He did the job done in a week, which was what we needed, and house is three levels.

New tile backsplash, new light fixtures, new faucets, lots of painting, grout work, etc.--the answer was always yes! We were even having new appliances delivered while he was working and although they were supposed to come with installation, the people that were sent to perform the install were hopeless and full of one excuse after the next. I turned to Miguel and he said, of course, I can take care of all of it, and he did. He even helped me out by taking my old refrigerator in his van to our new house to put in our basement. His work was done with care and for a fair price, and I just really appreciated how easy and pleasant it was to work with him and how solutions-oriented he was.
