I used this service continuously, twice a month, for seven years. My life situation has recently changed, so I am not in need of a regular cleaner right now. I wanted to write a closing review. The work is fast, professional, complete, and modestly priced for the Bay Area. When something was not being done the way I liked, they fixed it within 1 visit. Always. They came to clean when they promised. When they could not come, they rescheduled around my needs. They were incredibly flexible in accommodating issues related to the illness that took my lovely husband's life (cancer really does suck). This included changing schedules, cleaning products, vacuums, altering what they were doing, where they were cleaning, etc. The cleaners themselves are great. I got to know some better than others, but they were always hard-working, eager to please, and trustworthy. I felt confident and safe having them in my house. Like one other reviewer, the fact that most spoke Portuguese meant that I could not converse directly with them, but between pantomime and the owners, the work was done the way I wanted it to be. In closing, I cannot say enough about the care that Wilma and Fabio have given my family over the years, especially during my husband's illness and after his death. I went through several housecleaning agencies and services before I found HandsOn. I have been with them ever since. I have never been disappointed with the service and they are always through and punctual. My mother is elderly and homebound and really enjoys when Lupe and Marta come over - its like a visit from friends who clean your house too! One time Fabiano even offered to come check on my mom to make sure she was OK! I was already hooked but after personal service like that I am hooked for life. Considering how valuable my personal time is I consider HandsOn's service to be the best bargain around. I found Hands-On Cleaning here on Yelp and contacted them based on the reviews. I needed a thorough deep-cleaning for moving out of my apartment, and they seemed like the right choice. When Fabiano came over to inspect and give me an estimate, he was totally on the level with what needed to be done for turning over the apartment to the landlord in pristine condition. It was a no-brainer to hire them! The pricing was very reasonable, especially for a deep cleaning. I had scheduled them to show up at 12 noon, and they said they wouldn't finish til everything looked great and I was satisfied! This ensured me that they wouldn't be looking at the lock and rushing to finish by a certain time. They showed up 10 minutes early, which was another thing that impressed me. They did a FANTASTIC job and my place looked just as good as it did the day I moved in. Probably even better! But the real test was if it was landlord approved. They met me at the apartment to do a move out inspection and to get the keys back and all that, and they were VERY impressed and satisfied with the cleaning job. I would highly recommend them if you are moving out of your place and need your place professionally cleaned. They are truly professional! We have used Hands On on a regular basis for two years and could not be happier with the service. We have a small condo on Telegraph Hill that is a recent remodel, still moving in and getting organized. We are here part time, so only need cleaning service intermittently. Never a problem to schedule a week in advance. Cleaning crew are reliable, pleasant, professional and extremely efficient. They even bring all cleaning tools and supplies. English may be limited (Brazilian Portuguese) but not a problem. We pay $100 for 1000 ft one-bedroom condo, which certainly seems fair by SFO standards. We trust Fabiano, Wilma and their staff with our keys. Recommend without reservation. read more

I have been pretty happy with hands in cleaning. The cleaners often only speak Portuguese so if you have issues or requests you have to call management. I have had to call about a few changes and some issues I had been having and they came over the next time the cleaners were scheduled and made sure to communicate everything to them. Over all they are a reasonable price (especially when you have them come on a regular schedule) and they work very hard and get places I never even though could use a cleaning. read more

I consider myself to very very particular and I really didn't think I would ever find anyone who would clean as well as I do, but I have to say, HandsOn Cleaning fits the bill.
