A wonderful hotel as long as your expectations are set:
1. This hotel is very conveniently located practically right next to Les Halles, which makes getting to the metro/RER very convenient. There is also a little market right next door and a few other shops/restaurants. It is also in a very centrally located and safe neighborhood. Cleaning staff was great and I loved the small balcony we had from our hotel window
2. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful but remember that English may be more difficult to understand. We had asked for assistance and recommendations for a few things (ie, best udon or ramen nearby) and it was a little more complicated to understand. We also asked for a 7 AM wake up call for our flight one morning and don't think they understood that either, as we did not get a wake up call. However, security is very important here and there will always be a front desk staff member and the front door gets locked after a certain time. We would come back to the hotel around 11 PM or later each night we were in town and someone would always be able to open the door for us. I felt very safe here
3. The elevator is VERY tiny. Aka you can fit one check-in suitcase and yourself and that's it. If you have multiple pieces of luggage, be prepared to take multiple trips up and down
4. Rooms are tiny and please keep in mind that the building itself is old. My best friend and I shared a room and with luggage, the room is very tight
5. Stairs to go upstairs, if you choose to opt out of the elevator, are very narrow and very tiny
Overall, if you're young and able-bodied this hotel works fine, especially considering the location and price. It's clean, comfortable, and very cute. If you're traveling with younger kids or family members that are older who need a little more space, I'd highly consider looking elsewhere. read more
