Fresh foods include burgers and sausages for barbeques, chickens and joints of meat. All are really good quality, and excellent value, especially as they normally have special offers on. I had 3 packs of flavoured sausages and burgers for £5 during the summer. They also sell food already cooked, such as cooked chickens, and also snack foods, like chicken bites, at very competitive prices, as well as a range of hot and cold sandwiches to take away.

The staff are pleasant and sometimes you have to wait a little but as everything is fresh to order the best is always worth waiting for. Knowing that there is late night shopping, you would have thought that they would have extra staff off. After ordering and getting my food, we proceeded upstairs as the ground level was full. The seating area wasn't that clean. There was ground on grime on the table. There were quite a few tables which hadn't been cleared and were like that for a good 10 minutes or so. Not good for a busy Thursday evening. Having decided to get a mcflurry, I was surprised that the chocolate and caramel hadn't been mixed together like they usually do. All of the filling was on the top. I've since tweeted McDonald's UK who have asked for which restaurant it is, so hopefully, this was just a one off. Being a McDonald's, I don't expect the world, just decent service in a clean environment, which they (the franchisee) failed to deliver

Its a friendly place and you always feel welcome, but be wary of the odd drunk middle aged man trying to chat you up... other than that its a good pub with a wide range of cheap drinks, meaning you could spend most of the night there! Its generally very comfortable, but it can get VERY busy, so watch you're drinks as there seems to be a lot of people bumping into each other!
