The homemade ice cream was perfect textured and delicious. The small 1/2 dollar size donuts are available in the ice cream creations or in the box. The company is credited with creating both Rocky Road (1929) and one of my favorites, Cookies 'N Cream (1982) ice cream flavors. West of the Rocky Mountains the products are labeled under the Dreyer name and east of the Rockies they are labeled as Edy's, simply to honor both founders. Introduced in 2021 was the Rocky Road Collection, which includes the Salted Caramel Pretzel Path (SCPP) flavor. Get it? "Path" instead of "Road". This ambitious flavor has a salted caramel base, fudge swirls, pockets of chocolatey covered toffee, and crunchy chocolatey covered salted pretzels. Overall, I really enjoyed this flavor, so let's get the bad out of the way. It tasted like caramel ice cream to me; I wasn't getting much salt. Not a big deal for me, but it might be for others. The fudge swirls were also too sparse. That being said, both the fudge swirls and caramel flavored ice cream tasted just fine. As for the mix-ins, the chocolatey covered toffee and crunchy chocolatey covered salted pretzels (actually salty) are the stars of the show.
