Every time I'm there, they manage to stay calm, composed, and professional even when things get busy, while still making every guest feel welcomed and taken care of. Aleah, Hiílanií, Branden, and Kyle each bring such a warm, inviting personality to the experience. They're attentive without being overbearing, genuinely friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell they care about creating a great experience, not just serving a drink. Their ability to maintain that level of hospitality under pressure is impressive and really sets them apart. The hostess offered to put us on the waitlist, with no explanation: no mention that they were fully booked, or that they could work us in. When I pushed back a bit, she said she could seat us at 5:30, when they opened, literally 4 minutes later, and suggested we grab a drink at the bar across the pool area first. Just telling us "we're opening in a few minutes, hang tight" would've gone a long way. Food's solid, but the whole interaction felt unnecessarily complicated and unwelcoming.

This was served with a Hawaiian style Mac salad and a generous portion of steamed Calrose rice yummmmm! I bought a bottle of locally made chili pepper water (Hawaiian style hot sauce) to douse my lunch. You have to log in with 5-10 minutes of deadline otherwise you sign up to be notified if a spot opens up. I've already marked my calendar for next year to get reservations.
