    D11 - Chicken & Filet Mignon w/ fried rice
    Sebastian L.

I'll keep this real brief. I ordered the D11, which allows you to have two proteins. I chose to order the chicken and the filet mignon with fried rice (they charge an extra $3 if you want filet mignon). Overall I thought this meal was pretty solid. However, the filet mignon wasn't as up to par as I was expecting, but it still tasted good. I would probably get chicken and steak next time (with no extra charge).

Staff is great food is good. I enjoy the healthy options that they bring to Compton. No fills just honest food. Restaurant is always clean and service is good!

Worst food I've ever had in my life worst customer service please don't order here I promise the nastiest food ever please listen I wish I could give 0 stars

D10. Sesame Chicken, not worth the price or headache, could have gone to panda or Louisiana/Chinese food.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SKIP THIS PLACE!!!!! You are not paying higher prices for at minimum below average hibachi. Panda Express had more quality food, the hood Louisiana/Chinese food had better food-both locations are within walking distance of this dumpster fire! Buy at your own risk, you have been warned!!!!!!! Filthy floor, chairs, counter! Glass pane I guess was shattered at some point (more than likely a disgruntled customer) substituted with plywood! Customer service- the gentleman that took our order was pleasant however the language barrier was a huge problem, to the point I had to simply point out on their menu what menu options we were interested in. Probably running a Nigerian Prince scam or something cause payment wise they really push to get customers to pay either through Zelle, cashapp, or Venmo?!-Dodging the IRS probably. I paid via credit card and his co-worker/wife/business partner who knows, stormed in and they had a full blown shouting match with each other right in front of customers!! At this point I was ready to cancel the order and go somewhere else but it was late and the wife wanted to give them a shot because supposedly it is hibachi! FOOD- you would think all would be forgiven if the cuisine was delicious! She had the sesame chicken dinner combo and I ordered the filet mignon dinner combo with six wings as a side. Rice was stale and overloaded with soy sauce to hide it. Veggies were drenched in oil, and the chicken tasted like it was of the frozen variety reheated! The beef used was clearly NOT filet mignon just average beef strips rubbery and filled with gristle-gross. I cannot believe the astronomical price they charge for below average food or that I actually paid for this waste! Never again, spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

I guess if I paid 43 maybe it would've been to my liking!!

First off I ordered online a little after 3 o'clock , The order said it would be ready around 3:30p , so I hopped in the car and stop next to the grocery outlet right next-door did a little shopping and when I went to pick up the order it was not ready and second of all the man taking the payment almost gave me the wrong order and third thing that happened when I got home the shrimp tempura was nothing like the picture on the website that I ordered online with and it was half cooked or mushy wasn't done and greasy greasy greasy! The Louisiana fried chicken place down the street is better than this actual Japanese restaurant I won't be going back!! And the only reason they get one star is because I was able to eat the dumplings.

I made a order to go and they didn't place any forks, spoons or napkins. I had to eat every with my hands and now I was left with grease hands. First and last I order from them! Beware!!

Looks are deceiving.Food looks good but tastes like cheap Chinese food instead of Japanese.

First time I've tried it and was pretty good. On the pricey side and the service was mediocre.

Amazing food, I was really impressed. I would definitely go again. I don't do a great deal of carbs, wish I had gotten veggies over rice.

They are cool. Really expensive for the portion size you get. The only reason for the 3 stars. Food is good. I felt like I got gypped.

    Is this place still open?

    YES THEY CLOSE AT 10PM

Do they cook the food in front of you?

Uhh they cook the food behind the counter, but it is visible. It's a "fast food" version of benihanas, they're not there to put on a show for you .

I came in on Saturday with my daughter to enjoy an early dinner. It was around 5pm, and not too many people were dining at that time. I dined in as part of the Yelp Elite Experience (YEE). They greeted me kindly, took my name down and sat us down at one of the small tables against the wall. The YEE include a ramen of my choice and a two-piece appetizer of crispy rice and spicy tuna. I opted for the tonkatsu ramen and ordered an additional one for my daughter even though I knew she wouldn't even finish half. Leftovers for me to enjoy later I also ordered a cranberry juice for her and the rooibos iced tea for myself. I very much enjoyed the iced tea and appreciated the menu recommending it as a perfect companion to ramen. Although it's unsweetened, it had a refreshingly natural sweetness to it. To my ramen, I added black garlic oil and chili paste. The broth was very delicious, flavorful and rich. I'm not a huge pork eater anymore, which I need to remind myself of. I did really enjoy my ramen, however, next time I'll have to try another protein, extra egg instead of pork or give the vegan ramen a try, for my own good. Thank you to our server Mel for being very sweet and patient with my daughter and me. She also explained the service fee very well. Heads up that there is an automatic 17.68% service charge added for dine-in orders. I believe I did see it mentioned on the menu, but the man who sat us (possibly a shift manager?) also pointed it out somewhat quickly. However, there was some confusion upon paying because I had explained to Melanie that I wanted to tip on what the total would have been without the promotion; that's just how I've been taught to tip regardless of there being a free or discounted item on the check. So I was adding it up on my phone to see what "I owed" for service. I confirmed that everything looked good on the receipt and she ran my card without the option of me being able to add an additional tip. Something about how most people won't pay more on top of the included service charge, which I get completely, but I felt bad because I got free items and wanted to leave a more comprehensive tip. I'll have to go back soon and try that vegan ramen and more of that tea

This is a 4.5 for me, but the customer service from Mel and Cassandra bumped it to at 5…read more I was supposed to try HiroNori for a Yelp Elite event, but unfortunately my plane landed later than expected yesterday, so I missed out. But I had heard so many great things about HiroNori that I wanted to try it anyways. My brother especially kept hyping them up, and he LOVES ramen. And I'm glad I decided to try them out! While HiroNori is a SoCal chain, it still feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The crispy rice with tuna was EXCELLENT! Everything you want from crispy rice and spicy tuna. The tonkatsu was delicious! Great depth of flavor. They bring you garlic and spicy paste on the side. I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. And the pork in the tonkatsu - truly next level. This is probably the best pork I've ever had in a ramen dish. The noodles were also fantastic with the perfect amount of bite. I loved my jammy egg as well. The restaurant itself is smaller, with fun lighting. There is a parking lot which is great. They do not have tipping, instead they have a service charge of a little over 17%. Definitely worth it!
