Have to take 2 stars off as on the newest time that I visit they gave us wrong food and did not even try to make it right. The chef even talked to my friend, not sure if he just gave a joke, he said just take it. Okay alright we take it but will also give you 3 stars review for it.

It's easy to skip Strand Street while walking the fashionable segments of the Millenium Walkway. But veer down this quiet side street and Han Yang is there to reward you. Sporting all the hallmarks of an excellent Asian grocery, Han Yang (any relation to the restaurant on Parnell st?) offers the usual stock of dried ingredients, spices and vege that you won't find in the more flash Jervis M&S. Head to the back for a bit of authentic home cooking from the deli, or pick up some fresh fish for your own home recipe.

Jaysus. Came in to get ingredients for my kimchi but stayed for the 3 for €5.50 meal with bottomless Miso soup. What a great place with such friendly staff. Couldn't finish it. Will most definitely be back. Might starve myself for 3 days beforehand though.

5:50 - really great fresh feed - hit beef and veg dish yum yum

Top notch place. Love the hotspots but the 3 dishes plus rice and soup for 5:50 is also hard to beat. Friendly place too. Don't tell too many people though - keep it our secret ;-) Top notch place. Live the hotspots but the 3 dishes plus rice and soup for 5:50 is also hard to beat. Friendly place too. 3 set meal

I really liked this place. Been many times and it's never let me down. I've always gotten the set meal for €6.50. Three dishes from the "buffet" section and a healthy serving of rice. Delicious. On my last visit I saw they have bubble tea now, will try next time.

    Yummy and affordable!

Cheap, great food, and friendly staff! One of my favourite restaurants! Highly recommended! Every euro is spent well!

Tasty Korean food with great meal deals. The real deal in Dublin. The bibimbap is amazing.

Oh my god this place was the absolute best is like a little grocery store but they had a hot bar…read moreand tons of treats and connected to it was a frank and honest coffee company I was able to get a pot of hot tea and some little foods to eat I really enjoyed myself at this particular place and I wish that I would've been here every day because you could pretty much survive of everything They had some great chicken cutlets The baguette was amazing I brought a hazelnut donuts back home with me to my hotel I couldn't fit it but it was a lot of things that I wanted everything looked absolutely delicious I don't know why anyone would give this a better view

A Centra is indeed a Centra, but there's a couple things about this one worth noting…read more.. It has a hot counter (it likely didn't have one in 2009 as per previous review) and the Centra itself is oddly "long". You can enter in Temple Bar and exit on the quays OR you can even enter on the quays and exit in Temple Bar. It seems to always be busy between 8-9am and 12-3pm. I usually pass through to buy a mineral, as it's 1 Euro (as opposed to the one on Parliament Street, where they are still asking for 1.50-2.00). The staff is rather brisk and abrupt. You can be cheerful and say 'thank you' and they'll still look at you with contempt, as if they are doing you an absolute favour letting you spend whatever money hasn't been taxed off you at their establishment. The queue at the register is next to the dining area near the quay doors. This exposes oneself to a lot of 'ambiance', such as last week the queue bore witness to a charming card breaking up with his girlfriend (tears and all) at the table closest to the register. I guess it couldn't wait.

Came here hopping to get some ingredients with a mate, and didn't find all we needed…read more Not a larger selection as promised, but overall a great place to buy some good food. All the vendors are super friendly and love to make conversation! Great way to spend a morning! The ambiance is very quaint and friendly! Overall a great atmosphere and way to buy. Will come here for certain vegetables and lunch when I'm in the city

Thank you for the recommendation, Fodor's! (yes, I bought their travel guide like a true tourist.)…read more My friends and I wanted to try some Ireland oysters because we heard they were supposedly super fresh. We were running out of time on our hunt to find them when I realized, 'I've got my trusty guidebook!!' And that's how we ended up here. It was 12 Euros for 6 oysters and a glass of wine. Since there were four of us, the lady was nice enough to give us 4 cups of wine (yes, plastic cups - it's a farmer's market, what do you expect!) They even threw in an extra oyster! SO FRESH! SO BIG! (cue that's-what-she-said joke). Compared to NYC oysters, these babies looked like they were on steroids! They also have this dipping sauce (had onions and was really vinegar-y, but good. But if you don't like the sour, you should just take the oyster straight.) Didn't eat anything else from other stands because we just had lunch. However, I believe they had shish kebabs, crepes, and bread. Oh and FYI - Sheridans Cheesemongers was there (saw this place on Anthony Bourdain when he went to Dublin so thought this might be worth mentioning). Definitely check out this farmer's market!
